Chapter 2 - A Need for Radical Changes

After a while of thinking about whether I should get a name change or not, I decided that I will be going to court to change my name tomorrow. But for today, I guess I will just prepare. What do I even need? I asked a teacher for help, and she laughed it off saying that name changes getting accepted are very rare these days, and told me not to even dream about it. However, I wasn't gonna be satisfied by just that. I needed my named change, no matter what. So, I thought I would wait until school ends. After school ends, I will go home like I usually do. Then, I will turn on my computer and see how to change my legal name.

However, we have to survive through school first. So, what can we do at this moment? Usually I would have thought to just pass time, but it seems as if time has slowed down. So, I made my way over to the park to get my thoughts together. I watched the azure sky, the mighty sun blazing in it. Flocks of birds flew around, flapping their wings majestically. The wind was gently blowing—

Man, I really am a loser. Why am I making the park seem like something grand? Maybe people were right that I am a loser. But whatever, I can't let that affect me now, because I have to change my name.

But let's face it, what should my name even be? What language should I use? All these thoughts made me even more worried. Let's try to do a few name tries.

I started brainstorming what type of name I should have. After a long process, the remaining were American, Japanese, and Greek. After even more thinking, Greek was eliminated due to the fact that it is either overused or has way too much gravitas, and I don't really like that. Japanese was also eliminated due to the fact that it would be out of place here, which I also don't like.

So, I was only left with American names. Well, better get to brainstorming some American names quick.

After a while of thinking, I finally came up with the name "Aaron Wright." It was nothing much, but it definitely was better than my previous name. So, I decided to stick with it for now. And with that, the bell rang and now I had to return to my classroom.
