Chapter 14 - Chapter 516 The Sixth Test Completed

Upon hearing this, Poseidon, who had been looking forward to reviewing her combat prowess at age six, widened her eyes in surprise. She hadn't expected these clever little devils to have this scheme in mind—to drag her into this strange space and make her stand

there for ten minutes as punishment? Upon entering this space, Poseidon had subconsciously tried to use her soul power to leave, but after failing, she observed Zhu Zhuqing's appearance. With her rich combat experience, she naturally understood that Zhu Zhuqing was in the same predicament as her. She had initially thought Zhu Zhuqing would seize this rare opportunity to try and defeat her, but she hadn't expected the little girl to be so spineless.

Thinking of this, Poseidon almost laughed in anger, but in the end, she could only shake her head helplessly.

"Alright, you've passed the test. Release this space!"

Hearing Poseidon announce that they had passed the test, Zhu Zhuqing was overjoyed. She trusted the character of this High Priestess of Seagod Island and had no doubt that she would betray them after leaving.

  "Thank you, High Priest."

After expressing her gratitude, Zhu Zhuqing slightly shook her small, ethereal hook for a moment, and the strange space before her vanished. The two of them rapidly grew back to their original forms.

Seeing Zhu Zhuqing and Poseidon reappear, the little rabbit immediately clutched its head and wailed.

"Zhuqing, didn't you say you'd both be 6 years old inside? How come you were beaten up in less than a minute?"

"How are we going to get through the next 10 minutes?"

Zhu Zhuqing, still basking in the joy of victory, rolled her eyes at Xiao Wu's words, completely ignoring the idiot. She looked completely unharmed; she didn't look like she'd been beaten up at all. In a real fight, she might not even be able to beat a 6-year-old Poseidon.

Fortunately, Poseidon didn't let the misunderstanding linger, loudly announcing the results of the assessment.

"The sixth trial of the Sea God, challenging the High Priest of Sea God Island and enduring him for the duration of an incense stick, has now concluded. All examinees have passed and are rated as excellent."

As Poseidon's words were spoken, the children breathed a sigh of relief, their faces beaming with excitement.

"Yay, great! I knew we'd succeed this time!"

  After

their excitement subsided slightly, Poseidon smiled at them again.

"The examinees of the Black-level Sixth Trial—Long Nianbing, Ye Yinzhu, Dugu Yan, and Zhu Zhuqing—have completed all the trials. From now on, they enjoy the right to freely enter and leave Sea God Island. After the rewards are distributed, it's up to you whether you want to leave or stay."

Poseidon's words made the four whose names were called feel as if they had been transported to another world. Unbeknownst to them, they had been on Sea God Island for nearly five years, and now it was time for them to retire successfully. The four exchanged glances and then bowed to Poseidon in unison.

"Thank you for your guidance over the years, High Priest."

"That's right, thank you for your care, High Priest, but we still want to wait until Rongrong and the others finish their trials before leaving together."

Poseidon nodded nonchalantly, then turned her gaze to the group that still needed to undergo the next trial.

"That's up to you. The rest of you can start preparing for the next divine trial."

After saying that, Poseidon looked up at the sky in Ning Bei's direction, smiled and nodded, then transformed into a stream of light and disappeared before everyone's eyes.

With the High Priest's departure, the little ones began to fully unleash their excitement.

"That's great! I didn't expect we could complete the sixth trial so quickly."

"Of course, with me here, a little divine trial is a piece of cake!"

Ning Rongrong's words earned her a few eye rolls from her friends. This young lady's boastful personality hadn't changed at all over the years.

"That's right, by the way, how about your rewards?"

"All my spirit rings and spirit bones have increased in age by 5000 years. Mine is like that."

  "Mine too."

The group who had completed the assessment exchanged their gains and found that they were all roughly the same. So they all turned their attention to the three girls who had passed the red-level assessment.

  "Rongrong, what about you guys?"

Hearing this, Ning Rongrong's smile deepened.

"Mine has all my spirit rings and spirit bones increased in age by 8000 years. Counting the previous rewards, my spirit rings are at least ten-thousand-year black spirit rings."

"Mine too! Your Little Wu's spirit rings also started at black."

It wasn't just the increase in spirit ring age that brought about the improvement. The hard work over the years had also made great progress in the spirit power cultivation of the little ones.

The lowest cultivation levels have shifted to Long Nianbing and Ye Yinzhu, who were previously in the middle ranks. They are now at levels 74 and 73 respectively. The kitten and Nami, who absorbed a 100,000-year soul ring, are both at level 75. Ning Rongrong, who was originally at the bottom of the group, has surpassed her companions after absorbing a 300,000-year soul bone from Ning Bei, reaching level 76.

Even without any soul bone, the little rabbit's cultivation speed has always been among the fastest, now approaching the Soul Douluo level at level 78. If Dugu Yan hadn't received special training from Ning Bei, she would likely be the strongest of the seven. However, after a year of arduous training following the absorption of the soul bone, Dugu Yan has reached the Quasi-Soul Douluo level, leaving the little rabbit only able to look on in envy.

"By the way, Nami, your reward must be the highest, right?"

"Yes, Aunt Xiaowu, my spirit rings and spirit bones have both increased to ten thousand years."

"Ah! I knew it. You really are a child of the sea. We land creatures are still looked down upon."

"No, Aunt Xiaowu, I was just lucky. Thanks to Master and you all."

The youngest, Nami, comforted Xiaowu like an elder, which made the self-proclaimed thick-skinned and wealthy little rabbit feel a bit embarrassed. She could only scratch her head with an awkward smile.

"Hey, by the way, why is my seventh test a bit strange?"

"Hmm? Mine is a bit strange too. Assisting Nami in pulling out the Trident of Poseidon. Is that even a task? Isn't it a bit too easy?"

"Yes, yes, mine is the same."

After exchanging ideas, everyone turned their attention to Nami, the subject of the test. It was obvious that this test was specifically designed for her.

"Yes, my test is to pull out the Trident of Poseidon."

The little rabbit was puzzled when she saw that Nami's test was indeed this.

"Is that trident very heavy? Do we need to help you pull it out?"

"I don't know. Let's ask the High Priest today, she should be able to tell us."

Just as the two girls were talking, Ning Rongrong, who had been thinking, suddenly remembered something, then shuddered and said,

"I think I know what that Poseidon's Trident is! It's probably a divine artifact like my brother's Ice God Ring. If it doesn't gain recognition, it will attack on its own. I was frozen solid by my brother's Ice God Ring before, the kind you can't even pry off!"

Hearing her friends' explanation, Nami and the little rabbit's eyes lit up.

"Really? Then Nami can have a divine artifact too, right?"
