The training area was full of trainees, knights and some palace attendants. You could hear the sound of swords clanging at each other, murmurs and cheers of those watching around.
"Noah!" A young white haired boy happily shouted while running, catching the attention of those around him.
"Your highness, Slow down!" Some people shouted with worry, the prince ignored them and continued running to his friends' spot.
Noah was focused at arranging the swords laying around the ground. It was one of his job as a knight-in-training. Not noticing the commotion his friend was doing.
He was pulled back in reality when a heavy body smacked against his back causing him to fall over. Noah quickly looked back with annoyance but his features soften when he noticed who it was.
"Evren, be careful!" The dark haired boy anxiously replied at the prince
Evren gave Noah a huge smile while catching up his breath. "Come on, you worry too much. Loosen up!" He jokingly said.
"Of course I worry, in case you forgot Evren, you're a prince." Noah sternly said, rolling his eyes a bit at Evren. The young prince in return, laugh at him.
"What's the matter by the way?" Noah asked, sitting up.
Evren, flopped besides him and let out a big sigh. "My sister is back..."
"What's with the sighing? I thought you missed her highness?" Noah asked.
"I do miss her, but her going back at this time means.." Evren said with a hint of sadness in his voice.
Noah looked at the prince's face, his now dimmed green eyed plastered with worry and sadness.
"It's about time anyway, we're 15- you're 15 and her highness is 18." He said, looking away at the prince.
Evren looked up at the sky, birds flying freely at the sky. Leaves taken by the wind. "It's stupid." The prince muttered.
Noah looked at Evren, "What is?"
"All this." Evren said, still looking at the sky. "I sometimes wish I was a bird." Letting out a small laugh.
"Why?" Noah asked, still looking at the prince.
"Well, birds don't have to worry about what others think, the throne, and the people. They have no responsibilities, nothing to worry about but food." Evren said, "And they're free..."
"Free to choose what to do, what to eat..." He continued, "and who to love." Now looking back at the boy besides him.
