RAZE.
We flew to the mountains and beyond to meet the strangest woman I had ever heard of. To be honest, I never imagined I would come to her for answers, but fate had pushed me here, and now I stood before the tallest mountain in this area, my heart heavy with thoughts I could not say out loud.
"This used to belong to Draconis," Kael said, his eyes shining with respect. "He lived here like a king."
"He was the first son of the First Flames," I told him quietly.
"Yes, I know. It is sad that he is gone."
"Those vampires did this," I muttered, anger burning in my chest as I remembered how they wiped out the First Flames, leaving only one behind, and even his survival was uncertain. The dragons were ancient and powerful, and the world felt emptier without them.
