Starting of the series...

Maria studies in a lavish school.

It is the first day of Grade 7.

The classroom is loud — students talking, laughing, moving around without care. Maria sits with her friends, smiling, joining the noise only halfway. She has always been like that: present, yet slightly distant.

That is when the door opens.

A new student enters.

The classroom slowly falls silent. Every eye turns toward him — including hers.

For a second, Maria doesn't understand what she feels. There is nothing dramatic, nothing obvious. Just a strange pause inside her chest, as if something has stopped and started again. She doesn't know it yet, but that moment will stay with her longer than it should.

Dhiran's eyes move across the room and stop at the last bench — where Maria is sitting.

Their eyes meet.

Only for a brief second.

Then both of them look away.

(Their first eye contact..!!!👀)

Dhiran takes the third bench in the last row. Unlike what Maria expected, he stays quiet the entire day. He doesn't talk much, doesn't laugh, doesn't even look around often. His head remains lowered most of the time.

Maria keeps noticing him without meaning to.

She wonders why he looks so lonely. She thinks about talking to him — just once — but the thought never turns into action. Her introverted side came out and makes her feel invisible, like approaching him would only make things awkward.

During class, she glances at him again, just to check if he's okay.

She tells herself it means nothing.

Lunch break arrives, and later the class teacher asks everyone to introduce themselves.

When Maria's turn comes, she walks to the front. Her voice is steady, but her hands feel light. As she says her name, she notices something change.

Dhiran lifts his head.

For the first time, he looks directly at her.

She feels it — that quiet shift, that unfamiliar awareness — but she doesn't understand it yet.

*Is something begging new...😳*

The school day ends–

Maria is a van student. She stands in line to board the bus. While waiting, she turns back without thinking.

Dhiran is standing right behind her..!!

For a moment, she feels shocked — not because of him, but because of herself. Her heart reacts faster than her thoughts. She looks away immediately, unsure of what she is feeling.

Dhiran notices her, but he looks casual, relaxed, like this moment means nothing to him.

The line moves. Attendance is taken. Everyone sits.

Maria chooses the last seat of the bus. Dhiran sits in the very first seat.

As the bus starts moving, students laugh, shout, and talk loudly. Maria stays quiet. So does Dhiran.

She doesn't realize that somewhere between the noise and the moving bus, her thoughts are slowly circling around him.

Her stop arrives first.

As she gets down, a boy from her class asks where her house is. Maria points toward it and walks away. The area around her house is mostly empty — tall grass, few houses, quiet paths.

Behind her, Dhiran notices where she lives.

(Both their houses are in the completely opposite direction... let's see how is their path is going to cross💖)

She doesn't know that.

That night, she doesn't think of him as love.

Just curiosity.

Just something new.

*The Next Day*

When Maria enters the classroom the next morning, she freezes slightly.

Dhiran is laughing.

He is talking comfortably with the boys, smiling easily, like he has always belonged there. He looks completely different from the quiet boy of yesterday.

Maria feels surprised — and strangely relieved.

She feels happy seeing him happy, even though she doesn't understand why his mood affects hers at all.

The class teacher enters and announces a change in seating.

(Plot twist!!)

Maria ended up sitting in front of

Dhiran😳

Her body reacts before her mind does. Her shoulders stiffen. Her breathing becomes shallow. She feels his presence behind her without even turning back.

She doesn't dare to look.

The class continues. Maria feels tired. During a short five-minute break, she lowers her head onto the desk, covering her face with one hand.

That is when a voice calls her name.

She lifts her head.

And It's... Dhiran!!

He is holding her classwork notebook, looking at her with mild amuseme

Dhiran says:"Maria, here is your class work."

For a second, Maria forgets how to speak.

Her heart doesn't race — it sinks. Heavy. Warm. Unfamiliar.

She finally manages to respond,

"Oh… thanks, D-Dhiran."

(That is their first conversation..!!)

Dhiran smiles, hands her the notebook, and returns to his seat.

Maria stays frozen for a few seconds, staring at the notebook in her hands.

Her heart isn't loud.

It's quiet — and that scares her more.

She pretends nothing happened, placing the notebook into her bag. But inside, her mind keeps replaying everything: his voice, his smile, the way he said her name so easily, like it had always belonged to him.

The bell rings. Class resumes.

Maria tries to focus, but every sound behind her makes her aware of him — the scratch of his pen, the movement of his chair, his soft laughter when someone cracks a joke.

She doesn't turn back.

She can't.

*Lunch Break*

During lunch break, someone calls Maria from behind.

She turns around.

and It's... Dhiran.!

For a moment, she feels a quiet surprise — not excitement, not fear — just a soft awareness that something is slowly changing inside her.

She doesn't know it yet, but this is no longer just curiosity.

✨ that time Dhiran asked her...
