When Liva's mother saw Rina looking at her with those dark and cold eyes, instead of being afraid, she became even more thirsty for pain. She said, "Look, Liva, the naive girl is turning into a beast! But before you come to me, you must watch the end of everything you love." The shadows coiled like snakes around Rina's father, becoming tighter and more cruel by the moment.
The Worst Moments for Rina's Father
This time, Liva's mother's magic was worse and more painful than before. She turned the shadows into razor-sharp knives, slowly stabbing them into the father's body. Rina's father could no longer hide his screams; it was so painful that he let out a cry that reached the heavens. Blood flowed from every part of his body, but he looked at Rina and said with a loud voice, "My daughter, do not give up! Do not let your soul become dark and filthy like Liva and his mother. Don't ever do that, my girl!" Liva's mother said with a laugh, "Be quiet, you helpless old man, your time is up!" Then, she dragged the father across the ground with the chains, leaving him unable to move for a few minutes.
The Command to Torture Diari by Liva
Liva's mother turned to Liva and said with a voice full of hatred, "Liva, what are you waiting for? Torture that useless boy, Diari. Show him that no one can be a hero against the shadows. Break his spirit so Rina understands that her sacrifice was nothing but stupidity!" Liva was still afraid of Rina's new eyes, but he didn't show it and went straight for Diari.
Breaking Diari and Imprisoning Him
Liva kicked Diari in the face, drew his dagger, and said, "Do you think you're saved? No, Diari, now you are just a tool to make Rina cry." Using shadow magic, Liva created a small cage of thorns and black iron around Diari. Diari was still in pain from his wounds as they put him in that black cage. He was thrown into a dark prison where the thorns pierced his body. Liva said, "Stay here now and watch how that old man gives up his life, and watch how the naive girl becomes ours." Diari said with a weak voice, "Rina, leave here... run!"
The End of the Chapter: Rina's Confrontation
Rina, now surrounded by walls of black shadows, felt all the pain of Diari and the screams of her father. Tears no longer fell from those dark eyes. All the pain inflicted by Liva and his mother was like fuel for the fire glowing in her blood. Rina said in a low voice, like the sound of a storm, "You tortured my friend before my eyes, and my father is fighting death. Rest assured, now it is my turn. I must break your pride; true honor is within my soul.
