Chapter 109: The Frost of Coldness and the White Tidings

The Philosophy of the Soul's Transformation (A Deep Preface):

How does a human being change? Is it only time that alters our faces, or is it pain that shakes our inner selves? When a great love suffers a collapse, the soul enters a stage of "frost." A person no longer cries, because the tears freeze within the eyes. Coldness is the shield of hearts that are so broken they can no longer endure another strike. Life without the person who was your breath becomes a silent struggle with loneliness. Diari, that young man full of life and comedy who made everyone laugh, is now turning into a different man within the furnace of pain; a man whose shadow of sorrow is longer than himself.

Farewell to Haji Arab and the Birth of the Cold Diari:

Diari sat in Haji Arab's small house, looking at the wounds on his feet that Haji had kindly bandaged. But inside, Diari was becoming someone else. That former cheerfulness, those eyes full of sparkles—they were all extinguished. In their place, a terrifying coldness and a deep heartbreak took hold.

With a low, trembling voice, Diari turned to Haji Arab and said: "Haji... thank you. Thank you for not leaving me alone within my wounds on this dark night. But Haji... oh... oh, this heart that can no longer beat as it used to. I am going back, but know that the Diari of old was left behind under the rain."

Haji looked at him with sorrow, knowing that Diari was now in the prison of his own coldness. Diari stood up and, with his wounded feet and heavy steps, set off toward the new house (which now felt like a graveyard because Rina was not there).

Returning to the Empty House and Elara's Promise:

Diari arrived home. The sight of the room, the scent of Rina that still lingered in the air, was like a dagger. Diari walked aimlessly through the hall, pleading to himself: "Oh Rina... oh my life... how could you leave me? Oh, this house where your silence only echoes the sound of weeping."

When Elara (Rina's mother) saw Diari in that state, her heart broke into pieces. She went to him, placed her hand on his head, and said with a reassuring whisper: "My son... Diari dear, do not cry. As your mother, I promise you; only one month... in one month's time, you and Rina, like two beautiful winged lovers, will belong to each other under this roof once again. Trust me."

Diari looked at Elara, but even those sweet words did not move his heart. He saw only Rina's disappearance. Everyone left Diari alone so he could find some peace.

Diari's Loneliness and Rina's Memories:

Diari remained alone in the room. He began looking at photos of Rina. He looked at those white cheeks he used to kiss, and her honey-colored hair that was like silk. It was strange; Diari did not cry, nor did he scream... he only looked at them coldly. But internally, he died a thousand times every second. The pain he suffered was greater than weeping.

Rina's Letter and the Secret Contact:

On the other side, Rina had settled in Elias's old house. She, too, was burning like Diari. She sat down and wrote a letter to Diari; a letter full of love and forgiveness. In it, she wrote: "Diari, I didn't leave because I hate you... I left because the pain was so great I didn't know how to continue. I know you love only me. I am coming back... I will even kill the jealousy that made me distance myself from you. Wait for me."

At that moment, Rina's phone rang. It was her mother, Elara.

Elara: "My daughter... Rina... Diari is ruined; he has become a different person."

Rina: "Mother dear... I understand. Tell him... no, don't tell him, but know that I am coming back. In less than a month, I will return to my Diari. This period was only to realize how much we need each other."

Her mother was very happy to hear this news, but as Rina requested, she kept it a secret and told no one, not even Diari, because she wanted the time of the return to be the greatest surprise of their lives.
