Chapter 114: The Tremble of Shame and the Festival of Return

The Philosophy of Love's Resurrection: The Breath After Suffocation

Do you know what kind of scent rises when, after a deadly and scorching drought, the first drop of rain hits the thirsty earth? Love is exactly like that. When a human, after a long separation, reaches the person who is a part of their soul, they feel a "resurrection." Love is not just a few letters written on paper; it is that deep, saving breath you inhale after a long drowning in the depths of the ocean. Today, in this house, the walls of sorrow collapsed; the grief migrated to the archives of bitter memories and left its place for a laugh whose sound, like sacred music, reaches the seventh layer of heaven. God created love this way to tell us: "After every pitch-black night, a sun rises that heals all wounds with its warm rays."

Diari and the Narrative of Days that Tasted Like Death

In the hall, a sweet silence had spread its wings. Diari and Rina sat next to each other, the distance between them only a single breath. Diari held Rina's hand so tightly, as if he feared that if he loosened his grip for even a second, Rina would fly away like a butterfly and become a mirage-like fantasy again.

Diari, in a voice full of affection that still carried the tremble of his sorrows, said:

"Rina... my soul... do you know how many times my heartbeat stopped this month? Every morning when I opened my eyes, the first thing I did was look at your picture and plead in my heart. I would ask, has Rina eaten? In that cold, is there anyone to cover her? Without you, the house became like a cold graveyard; even the walls wept like me. The day my foot was wounded and I was running to find you, only one thought was in my mind: if I don't reach you, it's better that very spot becomes my shrine."

When Rina heard this deep pain in Diari's voice, her eyes filled with tears of loyalty. Without heed to those present, she slowly leaned in and gave Diari a warm, kind kiss on the cheek. Diari, who never expected this boldness from Rina, was suddenly overcome with warmth, and his face turned as red as a pomegranate flower. That manly shyness was so sweet that everyone began to laugh together in joy.

The Table of Joy and the Promise that Shook the Room

A large table was set; the scent of Elara's delicious food and the scent of Rina's return were intertwined. Diari, unable to take his eyes off her, placed food into Rina's mouth with his own hands, saying: "Eat, my angel, this weakness must leave your face. I am here, and I will no longer allow you to vanish from my sight for even a second, except when you close your eyes for sleep."

In the midst of the laughter, Diari suddenly put down his spoon. His face became serious as he looked into the depths of Rina's eyes. The room fell silent, as if time had stopped.

Diari said in a loud, confident voice:

"Everyone listen... Rina, I will not wait a single second longer. Tonight or tomorrow, I want to put an eternal seal on this love. I want the whole world to know that you are mine. I imagine our room full of children, whose daughters have eyes like your rubies and whose sons laugh with your voice. Rina... I want you to become the mother of my children right now!"

This statement was like a lightning bolt! Everyone was shocked, and then the room erupted in applause. But Rina... her face was so red it seemed fire was radiating from it. In her shame, she didn't know what to do; she simply stood up and ran toward her room, locking the door behind her.

The Merging of Breaths Behind the Closed Door

In her room, Rina leaned her back against the door, her hand over her heart which was beating like a hammer in her chest. Tears of joy and shame were mixed. She whispered to herself: "Oh Diari... how crazy you are, how could you say that in front of my father?"

Suddenly, the sound of Diari's footsteps came. From behind the door, Diari said in a low voice vibrating with love: "Rina... my soul, do not hide. I meant it, and I will never back down." He slowly opened the door. Rina was sitting on her bed, holding her headscarf over her mouth. Diari went to her, getting so close that the heat of their breath could be felt on each other's faces.

Diari said: "Rina... look into my eyes. I realize now that life without you is only killing time." He slowly placed his hand under her chin and gave her a kiss full of promise and loyalty on her lips. Rina felt the earth disappear from beneath her feet. In her shyness, she quickly tucked herself under the blanket. Diari left the room with a triumphant smile and a peaceful heart.

The Playful Sleep and the Guardian of Love

Under the blanket, Rina tightly embraced the letters and mementos she had written during their separation. Surrounded by the scent of Diari's love and with a deep sense of being cherished, she fell into a peaceful sleep.

But Diari... sleep did not visit his eyes that night. He went into the courtyard and watched the window of Rina's room from afar. He smelled his own hand; it still carried the scent of Rina's hair. In his heart, he said: "Sleep well, my angel... I am here, and like a guardian, I will not let even the shadow of a sorrow leave a mark on your dreams. Tomorrow, the sun rises for us."

Elias watched this scene from the corner of the courtyard and smiled, understanding how love can break a human and how it can rebuild them at the peak of glory.
