Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 : Frieza is dispatched! My combat power is... 530,000!

With the technological prowess of Ares, manipulating gravity was a simple feat. After all, the Flame Emperor was currently languishing in a specialized prison defined by zero-gravity and high-intensity magnetic fields. Since they possessed the means to nullify weight entirely, creating a high-gravity environment was well within their grasp.

Lufa, however, felt a sudden, sharp pang of regret. He had never considered utilizing high-gravity for cultivation before. Looking at the screen, he realized that if he had known such training was this effective, he would have dragged his subordinates through those grueling conditions long ago. Had he done so, he wouldn't have been forced to flee Ares like a dog; he could have led his men to overthrow King Pyrrhus and seized the throne with ease!

On the screen, Son Goku was seen training under a crushing 100x Earth's gravity. His growth was staggering. He went from being unable to touch Vegeta to possessing the power to effortlessly one-shot Recoome. The audience had already seen Recoome's terrifying strength; the Ginyu Force brute had just finished brutalizing a powered-up Vegeta. Yet, Goku handled him like he was nothing.

Akira, watching with the tactical precision of a seasoned transmigrator, noted that even if the conversion rate of training across dimensions wasn't perfect, even a mere 1% of Goku's results would be world-changing. Vegeta on Earth already had the Ki capacity to reduce the planet to stardust. Recoome was leagues above that, likely capable of shattering ten Earths or planets of even greater mass.

"What does that make Goku?" Akira mused. If Lufa could grasp even a fraction of that Saiyan potential, he would possess power comparable to the Shura Armor—not as a mechanical enhancement, but as the raw strength of his own physical body. The difference was night and day.

While Lufa drowned in his regrets, powerful beings across the Wanjie Multiverse who lacked the means to warp gravity watched with envy.

"Impossible! How could I, the great Recoome, be taken down by a filthy Saiyan monkey!" Recoome's voice exploded across the communication channels. He had been cheering while watching himself pummel Vegeta, only to see his future self dispatched with a single, casual strike. "I don't believe it! This is some kind of trick! A fake!"

Nearby, Burter and Jeice looked equally grim. If Goku could erase Recoome that easily, they were clearly next on the list. However, they tried to maintain their bravado, banking on their combined speed and teamwork to overcome the Saiyan's newfound power.

Back on Earth, the Z Fighters were reeling.

"Is gravity training really that effective?" Krillin muttered, his eyes wide. "If we start now, could we actually stand a chance against Vegeta when he arrives next year?"

Yamcha and Tien Shinhan shared the same spark of hope. The video had clarified that Bulma's father, Dr. Brief, was the mastermind behind the gravity chamber. Goku had conquered 100x gravity in just six days.

While they knew they weren't on Goku's level, they had a whole year to close the gap. Perhaps they could even surpass him? With renewed fire in their bellies, the martial artists ditched their current training spots and converged on West City.

Even Piccolo, standing isolated in the wasteland, felt a rare moment of conflict. He craved that power, but his pride as a Demon King made asking for help difficult. His eyes shifted toward young Gohan. The boy was Goku's son—the perfect bridge to Bulma and her father's technology. Without a word, Piccolo grabbed the boy and took flight toward West City.

Meanwhile, on the endless yellow brick road of Snake Way, Goku was sprinting with a new goal.

"I wonder if King Kai's place has a setup like that?" Goku thought. It was ironic that he was learning about his own future training methods while dead.

Son Goku: "@King Kai, hey! Do you have a high-gravity room up there?"

King Kai: "The gravity here is 10x Earth's, which is a far cry from a hundred. However, with my abilities, I can certainly simulate a higher pressure for you."

Son Goku: "Awesome! I'm coming as fast as I can!"

Goku realized that his future self's idea for 100x gravity likely stemmed from his time on King Kai's planet. The initial jump to 10x gravity had shown him the benefits of constant resistance.

As the Z Fighters prepared to move, Vegeta's expression in space grew increasingly toxic. He contemplated turning the ship around, but his Saiyan pride wouldn't allow it. "I'll go," he hissed. As long as he could unlock the legendary Super Saiyan transformation through the insights of this video, no amount of gravity training would save Kakarot. A low-class warrior reaching the realm of legend? Impossible.

The video continued to play, showing the fallout of the battle. After neutralizing the Ginyu Force, the narrative shifted. Goku's body had been battered during the Body Change debacle with Captain Ginyu, who ended up trapped in the body of a Namekian frog. While Goku healed in a rejuvenation tank, the struggle for the Dragon Balls reached its fever pitch.

Then, the atmosphere of the video changed. The Ginyu Force was gone, and Frieza—the Emperor of the Universe—finally decided to step onto the battlefield himself.

He arrived at the Namekian Grand Elder's home, cutting a path through anyone in his way. Nail, the last remaining Warrior-type Namekian, stood to block him. Frieza checked his Scouter. Nail's power level was 42,000—a number that would have terrified almost anyone else in the galaxy.

But Frieza didn't even flinch. He looked at Nail with the bored eyes of a predator looking at an insect and uttered the line that sent a collective shiver through the dimensions:

"My power level is... 530,000."

He said it casually, his tone as light as if he were discussing the weather. But to the viewers of the Wanjie Multiverse, that number wasn't just a statistic—it was a nightmare made manifest.
