Chapter 36 - The Dragon Clan’s Sinister Healer

A petite and delicate figure rushed in from outside the door like a whirlwind, exclaiming, "Sister Yu, I've thought of a way! I've thought of a great way!"

Aurelian Dragon was startled and looked closely. The newcomer was an incomparably beautiful young woman with long, silky black hair that cascaded down her shoulders. What was most striking about her were her crescent-shaped eyes, clear as water and gleaming with a clever glint in them. Coupled with her mouth-watering, bright red cherry lips, one could instantly fall in love with her.

Seeing Aurelian Dragon staring intently at her, Lyra Draconis was initially delighted and said, "You're awake?" Then she suddenly glared at her and said, "Haven't you ever seen a beautiful woman before? Why are you staring at me like that?"

Aurelian Dragon exclaimed inwardly, "My goodness, this little woman is so hot!" He glanced awkwardly at the three women beside him, each smiling and watching with amusement, and coughed lightly, asking, "Miss, we don't seem to know each other. May I ask what brings you here?"

Phoenix Vane smiled, about to explain Lyra Draconis's origins to the Aurelian Dragon, when Lyra Draconis had already interjected, "I am your creditor!"

"Creditor?" Aurelian Dragon stared blankly at Lyra Draconis's pretty face, unable to come to his senses for a long time.

Seeing Aurelian Dragon's expression, Lynette Quill suppressed a laugh and said, "Little Dragon, you're too funny! I haven't heard you mention this at all these days. When did Aurelian borrow anything from you?"

Phoenix Vane and Obsidia Shade also looked at Lyra Draconis with surprise. They had taken an instant liking to her, finding the dragon girl utterly adorable, even though she had caused quite a stir upon arrival. They had found her amusing, which was why they had invited her to stay at Phoenix Vane's residence. Lyra Draconis had also done her utmost in healing the Aurelian Dragon, making them like her even more. But now she was uttering such shocking words. Judging from Lyra Draconis's expression, she wasn't joking. What was going on?

Aurelian Dragon looked at Lyra Draconis with suspicion and tentatively asked, "I don't think I owe you anything. When did this lady become my creditor, hahaha!" He laughed a few times, thinking it was amusing, but seeing no response, he fell silent.

Lyra Draconis rolled her eyes at him and continued, "Don't you have a 'Dragon Heart Sutra' with you? It belongs to our dragon race. Do you think I'm your creditor?"

Phoenix Vane and Aurelian Dragon's eyes met briefly in the air, then they nodded and said, "Yes, the book is in our hands now."

Lyra Draconis clapped her little hands and said, "That's right, can it be returned to its rightful owner now?"

"No, no!" Aurelian Dragon said without even thinking.

"Why?" Lyra Draconis blinked her crescent-shaped eyes as she looked at Aurelian Dragon's face.

Aurelian Dragon was speechless for a moment, and after a long pause, she finally said, "Um, um, I got it from someone else, how can I just give it to you like this?"

A mocking glint flashed in Lyra Draconis's eyes as she said, "Did you say there would be a price for returning the book to me?"

Aurelian Dragon nodded repeatedly and said, "That's right, you're very smart!"

Phoenix Vane said unhappily from the side, "Aurelian, I think this book should be returned to Little Dragon Girl, after all, it belongs to her dragon clan."

Before Aurelian Dragon could answer, Lyra Draconis's pink face showed a strange expression as she said, "You lewd man! What were you thinking just now?"

Aurelian Dragon was greatly shocked. He had just had the thought of wanting Lyra Draconis to sleep with him, but in all honesty, it was just a ridiculous idea that popped into his head. He didn't know why this pretty girl could see it so easily.

Phoenix Vane gave Aurelian Dragon a meaningful look, making him feel ashamed. However, this man was known for his thick skin, so he was able to calmly look at Lyra Draconis and ask, "Can you know what I'm thinking? Don't think you're so charming."

Lyra Draconis glared at him fiercely, then gave Phoenix Vane a sweet smile and said, "Sister Yu, I know that book belongs to Brother Ye. How about this, I'll cure his strange illness in exchange for getting our dragon clan's book back?"

Before Phoenix Vane could speak, Aurelian Dragon readily agreed. His current thought was that as long as he could recover his inner strength, he didn't care about the condition; he could finish reading the book first and then return it.

Unfortunately, he didn't have the ability of the dragon girl in front of him to see through other people's thoughts. If he knew what was going on in the mind of this beautiful and elegant girl, he would regret his momentary folly.

Seeing Aurelian Dragon's response, Phoenix Vane smiled and said to Lyra Draconis, "Little Dragon, I'm so sorry, I was supposed to return the book, but since you've said that, I'll have to trouble you to stay here a few more days!"

Lyra Draconis smiled at Phoenix Vane and said, "Sister Yu, you're too kind. I'm really happy to be with you!"

They exchanged knowing smiles, a warm feeling rising in their hearts. Neither Phoenix Vane nor Lyra Draconis knew that this was actually closely related to Phoenix Vane's practice of the "Dragon Heart Sutra." Aside from dragons, only one in millions could truly master the skills within the "Dragon Heart Sutra," but Phoenix Vane was an exception. Having initially achieved mastery, Phoenix Vane naturally felt a spiritual connection with Lyra Draconis.

But the impatient man beside them interrupted their conversation. Aurelian Dragon looked at Lyra Draconis and said, "Didn't you come up with a good idea?"

These words jolted the two of them awake. Phoenix Vane looked at Lyra Draconis and asked, "Little Dragon, what's your brilliant idea?"

Lyra Draconis could clearly sense that Phoenix Vane's attention had shifted entirely to the lecherous man beside her, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of resentment. Suppressing her rising emotions, she began to explain to everyone the method she had devised to restore the Aurelian Dragon's inner strength.

After hearing Lyra Draconis's explanation, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Lyra Draconis's method was simple. She believed that the chaotic internal energy in Aurelius Dragon's body was actually due to the "Dragon God's Annihilation" she received after Obsidia Shade activated "Demonic Revelation," Phoenix Vane's "True Spear of Wind," and the demonic energy possessed by the "Dark Demon God" who should have appeared. Therefore, all that was needed now was to expel these different internal energies from Aurelius Dragon's body.

Aurelian Dragon glared at Lyra Draconis and said, "You make it sound so easy. How are you going to expel the true energy from my body? Do you expect them to run away if you whip them?"

Phoenix Vane and Lynette Quill also said that this was impossible, but Obsidia Shade said softly, "Since you say so, does that mean there is some way that might work?"

Lyra Draconis glanced at her, sensing that this usually quiet woman was not as taciturn as she appeared—just a loyal bodyguard to a lecherous man. She smiled and said, "That's right. Our dragon race has a technique that can expel the true energy from a person's body, but unlike those techniques that completely dissipate energy, it won't leave the person completely powerless and crippled."

Hearing this, Phoenix Vane and Lynette Quill nodded. This was exactly what they were worried about: they absolutely must not let the removal of the chaotic internal energy from Aurelian Dragon's body render him unable to use martial arts.

Without hesitation, Lyra Draconis, after obtaining everyone's consent, began her latest endeavor amidst the anxious gazes of the person involved.

Following Lyra Draconis's instructions, Phoenix Vane and Obsidia Shade also worked together to gather all their inner energy, attempting to reclaim the inner energy that rightfully belonged to them from the Aurelian Dragon.

This caused Aurelian Dragon a great deal of suffering. As Phoenix Vane, Obsidia Shade, and Lyra Draconis exerted all their strength to absorb the true energy that did not originally belong to him from his body, it felt as if his internal organs were about to be turned inside out. The churning sensation made him vow never to do such a thing again.

But the man's protests, which he had been suffering greatly, were immediately silenced by the gentle Lynette Quill.

"Aurelian, just bear with it! They're almost done, just hang in there!" With a soft voice of comfort, a fragrant silk handkerchief gently wiped the beads of sweat from his forehead.

After a while, Aurelian Dragon thought to herself, "If I hold on any longer, I might really have to force everything out of my stomach!"

The desperate screams of the man, driven by desperation, even drew the attention of the sleeping goddess warriors. Seeing the Aurelian Dragon in this state, the heartbroken Phoenix Vane and Obsidia Shade had long since given up.

Knowing it wouldn't work, Lyra Draconis reluctantly gave up, wiping the sweat from her beady forehead, and said defiantly, "You're really strange. How come our method, which has never failed, is completely useless against you? I need to think carefully about what went wrong."

After being comforted by Lynette Quill, Aurelian Dragon took several deep breaths and said angrily, "I will never let you use me as a guinea pig again! It's outrageous!"

On his first night after waking up, Aurelian Dragon encountered so many things that he was overwhelmed. Fortunately, although he had just woken up from a deep sleep, his spirit and physical strength were quite good, and he could withstand this ordeal.

Over the next few days, Aurelian Dragon recovered quickly, and apart from not being able to circulate his qi, he was completely back to normal. He didn't tell Phoenix Vane and the others about his strange dream, as sharing such a dream might just make him a laughingstock.

"Only children dream about these things." The thought of Phoenix Vane and the others saying such things made this man unable to bear being treated like a child, so he kept it to himself and would think about it later when he had time.

Aurelian Dragon felt good about himself, but Phoenix Vane dared not be careless at all, strictly forbidding him from all activities, especially instructing Lynette Quill and Obsidia Shade to remember not to listen to him or sleep with him until he was fully recovered. This frustrated Aurelian Dragon greatly; he could only look at these beautiful women swaying in front of him, unable to make a move.

Besides, there's another person giving the Aurelian Dragons a headache: the young lady Lyra Draconis. Ever since she said she'd retrieve their dragon clan's "Dragon Heart Sutra" in exchange for curing the Aurelian Dragons' strange illness, this cunning young lady has become a nightmare for the Aurelian Dragons.

For example, on the third day, Lyra Draconis excitedly ran over and told Aurelian Dragon that she had now refined a secret dragon elixir that would guarantee his complete recovery. Aurelian Dragon, without suspicion, swallowed it whole. Little did he know that the medicine would immediately cause him excruciating abdominal pain, forcing him to run to the toilet five times before he could catch his breath.

Phoenix Vane and the others found it both funny and infuriating. When they wanted to blame Lyra Draconis for her childhood, they saw that she looked extremely apologetic, and her pitiful yet fearful eyes prevented them from getting angry. Aurelian Dragon could only accept her bad luck.

The following day, Lyra Draconis came up with another brilliant idea: to restore the Aurelian Dragon's luck. Having already suffered two disastrous experiences, the man absolutely refused to be this lady's guinea pig again. However, aside from him, everyone around him unanimously agreed, because Lyra Draconis's explanation sounded so convincing. After being coaxed and pleaded with by these charming women, the poor man, who was inherently powerless against beautiful women, had no choice but to obediently surrender.

Aurelian Dragon was stripped naked and made to stand upright on the bed. Phoenix Vane then used the "Freeze" technique to immobilize Aurelian Dragon with his inner energy. Aurelian Dragon was puzzled. This young lady of the dragon race should be a young woman of marriageable age, so how could she stand before him, a grown man, naked, without any restraint or embarrassment?

Just as she was about to make a joke, the doctor from the dragon race had already deprived her only patient of the right to speak. She patted the Aurelian Dragon's robust body without a care, and said with considerable satisfaction, "I didn't realize you had such a strong physique!"

Aurelian Dragon was both amused and exasperated, and Phoenix Vane and Lynette Quill also began to doubt the feasibility of having this girl as a doctor. But what was done was done, and they could only hope that the dragon's divine magic would truly be effective.

Upon seeing the fervent glint in the crescent-shaped eyes of the beautiful, refined young woman, the man, unable to move, immediately felt a warning flag rise in his mind, and an alarm bell ring. Poor man, he didn't even have the chance to voice his objections.

Using long golden needles to prick the man in front of her like a hedgehog, Lyra Draconis called out to Phoenix Vane, Obsidia Shade, and Cynthia, the leader of the goddess warriors. The four women, each with different true energy, took their positions and grabbed Aurelian Dragon's hands and feet.

At a command, four women, arguably the strongest on the continent, simultaneously channeled their true energy into Aurelian Dragon's body, immediately triggering a powerful rebound from the several strong energies within him. As Lyra Draconis had instructed beforehand, Phoenix Vane's true energy guided the flow, Obsidia Shade and Cynthia's true energy protected the sides, while Lyra Draconis's dragon energy propelled the chaotic energy from behind, converging it into Aurelian Dragon's dantian.

The excruciating pain made Aurelian Dragon's eyes almost bulge out, yet he couldn't scream out. He could only swallow the food silently, and immediately he was drenched in sweat. His miserable appearance broke the hearts of Lynette Quill and the others watching from the side.

Not easily managing to channel her true energy into her dantian, Aurelian Dragon's sins were not yet over. Lyra Draconis, her pretty face glistening with sweat, took out a fine needle that was a foot and a half long, intending to stab it into her prized manhood.

This terrified Aurelian Dragon, but having lost his right to protest, he could only signal to Phoenix Vane and the others with his eyes to stop the mad doctor's behavior.

"Little Sister Long, I don't think I've ever heard of this kind of needle insertion technique before?"

Phoenix Vane's question was answered by Lyra Draconis: "Because this is the root of Yang energy. Only by stimulating his own Yang energy can he truly integrate those incompatible true energies into one, making them into powerful true energy that he can utilize. As a result, his skill can be improved quite a bit!"

As the long needle slowly entered her, Aurelian Dragon was filled with fear and hatred. She vowed that if she were ever truly cured, she would capture this exceptionally handsome doctor and do the same to her, making her experience the same thing.

Unfortunately, the tormented man still hasn't achieved his wish and remains an idle patient. It seems his plan to take revenge on the devilish doctor can only continue to be conceived and perfected in his mind.
