Chapter 60 - Chapter: The Complicated Engagement

The store was quieter than usual, but only just. Boxes lined the aisles, energy drinks rattled softly in the fridge, and Nyx was already filming something suspicious near the snack section.

Bella sat behind the counter, scrolling through her phone, still stunned from the stranger she had agreed to be engaged to. She hadn't even met him properly before saying yes, and now the situation felt surreal.

Garruk appeared from the end of the aisle, his broad frame making the shelves tremble slightly as he approached. He stopped in front of Bella, folding his massive arms.

"Bella," he said, his voice low but steady, "I need you to break up with him."

Bella blinked. "Break up with… who?" She held up her phone. "I barely know this guy. Why?"

Garruk took a deep breath. "Because… I want you to be engaged to me instead."

Nyx's eyes widened behind the camera. "Ohhh, this is getting juicy," she whispered, already recording.

Bella's hands flew to her face. "Wait, what? You can't just… what about… he asked me yesterday!"

Garruk leaned in slightly. "And I've been here, fighting beside you, watching over you… you know me. You know me."

Bella turned her gaze to Vario, who was hiding behind a stack of cereal boxes, trying to look nonchalant but failing spectacularly. He raised one eyebrow. "Well… that's a problem."

Nyx giggled. "Oh yes, drama, chaos, romance — all in one aisle. Perfect content!"

Bella groaned. "This is insane! I'm engaged to a stranger, and now you're asking me to dump him and… be with you? In a convenience store? Are you serious?"

Garruk's expression softened. "I'm very serious. I'd rather be with you than anyone else, Bella. Forget that other guy. Forget the chaos. I want us."

Bella blinked, her heart racing. The tension in the store felt like it could snap any second.

Nyx whispered to her camera, "Day two of the Engagement Saga: The Love Triangle Edition."

Bella took a deep breath. "Garruk… I… I need time to think."

Gallo, who had been watching quietly from the snack aisle while finishing a protein bar, muttered to himself, "This is going to end with a shelf collapse, isn't it?"

The convenience store hummed quietly, but the tension was electric. Somewhere between chips and canned noodles, romance, chaos, and decisions collided — and nothing in Aisle 3 would ever be simple again.
