Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 A Night's Harvest

Perhaps due to the uniqueness of this online game world or modifications made by the Reincarnation Space, Takeru did not feel the issue of hunger.

Relying on his overwhelming defense, Takeru aggressively attracted and killed large numbers of monsters. By now, his level had reached 15. Admittedly, the early levels in this world were relatively easy to raise.

As for equipment, Takeru had only obtained a Large Centipede Larva Bracelet from a drop. Equipping it added 4 points to his Defense and 4 points to his Agility… a decent piece of gear...

His gold had accumulated to 36,000G. By now, Takeru realized that the gains from this forest were diminishing, so he began preparing for the next phase...

Namely, Takeru planned to solo the Poison Dragon Labyrinth. But before that, he needed to stock up on recovery potions...

Considering he wasn't sure about potion prices yet, Takeru decided to farm the monsters here thoroughly.

Despite his low attack power, with the Shield Bash skill, Takeru's farming speed was remarkably fast.

Unconsciously, the sky grew dark, and Takeru noticed that the monsters seemed to have increased in number.

Seeing this, Takeru was not alarmed but pleased. Relying on his invincible defense, he fearlessly stood his ground and fought the monsters head-on!

...

Meanwhile, in the Miracle World, although the group's leveling speed wasn't as fast, they gained 3 attribute points per level. This meant they earned slightly more attribute points every two levels than Takeru did.

However, aside from attribute points, there weren't many other advantages here. They diligently completed quests and farmed monsters. Currently, the highest level among them was Umaru...

Umaru, in the lead, had only just reached level 4 with a little over half the experience bar filled. At this rate, they might only reach around level 10 in three days.

In terms of equipment, aside from Yui, who luckily got a Rabbit Bracelet from killing a rabbit, the others had no significant drops.

Money in the Miracle World wasn't as easy to obtain as in Takeru's world. The richest, Umaru, had only acquired two silver coins and fifty copper coins.

The others had between one and two silver coins. Coupled with the fact that the Mage class was expensive in the early stages, their money was mostly spent on mana recovery potions...

"Umaru, you should rest for a bit," Taihei said with concern, watching his sister diligently farming monsters.

"It's okay, Onii-chan. I know my limits. And since we've entered this Reincarnation Space, improving ourselves as much as possible is necessary for our survival later, isn't it?" Umaru replied calmly.

Aside from Takeru and the Chuunibyo cases, Yuta and Rikka, Umaru was among the quickest to accept the Reincarnation Space.

She treated it as a hyper-realistic fantasy game that transcended reality. And when it came to games, she was an expert...

"What Umaru says is right. For the future, we all should strive to improve," Ui, standing nearby, said earnestly after hearing Umaru's words.

Though she appeared gentle on the outside, Ui was internally strong… kind, gentle, and resilient, embodying these praiseworthy traits.

...

In the blink of an eye, dawn arrived. Takeru mechanically dispatched the continuously spawning monsters. With the notification of reaching level 20, he promptly added the attribute points to Defense.

Then, gazing at the beautiful game world, Takeru left the area and headed back toward the beginner village...

As he exited the forest, Takeru took stock of his night's harvest.

For instance, he had triggered another special skill.

[Perseverance: Possessing this skill doubles the Spirit attribute. Acquisition Condition: Endure monster siege for ten hours in one location.]

The skill was simple yet incredibly powerful, and its conditions were stringent. However, Takeru had stumbled into acquiring it.

Though it had little effect on Takeru's current state, once he left this world and grew stronger, the potency of this passive skill would gradually manifest...

It might conflict later with the [Giant Killing] skill, but once Takeru left this world and continued to improve, the conditions for activating Giant Killing would become increasingly difficult to meet anyway.

Besides this special hidden skill, Takeru had also upgraded various resistances like Paralysis Resistance, Explosion Resistance, and Fire Resistance to the Intermediate level...

Furthermore, Takeru obtained a rare Queen Bee Ring!

[Queen Bee Ring: Defense +6. Additional Skill: Restores 10% of Max HP over 10 minutes.]

Leaving the forest, Takeru felt somewhat dazed. Although his body didn't feel fatigue or negative effects like hunger, mental exhaustion was unavoidable...

Realizing that facing the Poison Dragon in his current state could easily lead to mistakes, Takeru decided to rent a room at an inn to rest.

He chose an inn known for its superior restorative sleep effect, which would save him time. As for money, Takeru still had 120,000G. Even after spending 20,000G, he would have 100,000G left...
