Chapter 38 - Chapter 38 Observation Haki And Rokushiki

"Oh, what rating did Rikka get?" Takeru asked curiously, turning to her.

"An A- rating!" Hearing Takeru's question, Rikka felt a bit embarrassed.

Though she had been proud in front of the others, she knew that without Takeru, she couldn't have accomplished much.

Without Takeru's guidance and encouragement, adapting to killing zombies would have taken her a long time. Moreover, she likely wouldn't have ventured far from the apartment.

At most, she would have cleared the zombies in the apartment, gathered some supplies, and just survived there for seven days...

"Haha, congratulations!" Hearing her answer, Takeru said with a smile.

"Um, Takeru, I wanted to ask you... I have three B-Rank evaluations and 20,300 points now. What do you think I should exchange for?" Rikka looked at Takeru expectantly.

It's worth noting that an E-Rank evaluation didn't grant an evaluation token, and the lowest was D-rank. So, last time when Rikka and the others got E-Rank evaluations, they received no token, only 300 points.

"This..." Hearing her question, Takeru fell silent and checked the Reincarnation Space's exchange list.

The available supernatural items were still mainly from the One Piece and Naruto Worlds.

Additionally, there were some new special items, like a Zombie Virus that could turn a person into a zombie, granting a slight strength boost at the cost of sanity.

However, the system had altered it so it wasn't contagious, making it a one-time use item.

There was also a Primary Enhancement Potion that could enhance an ordinary person once without side effects. A person could only use it twice in their lifetime. Takeru noticed it was purchase-limited, one per person.

It cost one C-rank evaluation and 5,000 points. Not cheap, but not too expensive either. Takeru immediately exchanged for one, planning to give it to Miu...

Besides these, there was an antidote for the aforementioned zombie virus, and that was it. Items like the Genetic Enhancement Potion seemed ultra-rare and weren't available here.

"In that case, I recommend exchanging for Observation Haki. If you're interested in developing along Ninja Lines, you could also exchange for the Chakra Extraction Technique and the Three Basic Ninjutsu," Takeru suggested after some thought.

Though he felt the Ninja Path might have a lower ceiling, who could say for sure? And the Ninja Path could provide a good transition in the early stages.

Hearing his advice, Rikka carefully examined the options: Armament Haki and Chakra.

Others were also contemplating their choices.

"Um, Takeru, are these suitable for us too?" Umaru asked expectantly while Rikka was thinking.

"Of course. However, Chakra is clearly an energy system. I'm not sure how far this system can grow, but if you choose it, you might not be able to exchange for other energy systems later. So, be cautious about that."

"As for Observation Haki, I highly recommend it for everyone. It's a very practical scouting ability, not expensive, and most importantly, doesn't conflict with other abilities," Takeru said calmly, glancing at the group.

"I see!" Hearing this, Rikka didn't hesitate any longer. She spent one C-Rank evaluation and 5,000 points to exchange for Observation Haki.

While chatting with the others, Takeru also exchanged for Observation Haki. This left him with: One S-Rank evaluation, one C-rank evaluation, and 79,800 points.

As for Takeru himself, he could use the S-Rank evaluation to exchange for powerful Logia or Mythical Zoan Devil Fruits. But considering their significant drawbacks, he decided against it.

Instead, he spent two B-Rank evaluations and 20,000 points to exchange for the Beginner Level of Rokushiki...

A flood of information entered his mind, accompanied by special energy remolding his body. After a few minutes, he could preliminarily use both Rokushiki and Observation Haki.

The beginner level mostly provided knowledge and some training memory, but Rokushiki also noticeably enhanced his physical fitness, making it a worthwhile exchange.

After these exchanges, Takeru stopped for now. He was left with: Two A-Rank evaluations, one B-Rank evaluation, and 59,800 points!

His skills now included Beginner Level Rokushiki and Beginner Level Observation Haki.

In terms of items, he had one Primary Enhancement Potion.

Finally, the special energy from Observation Haki and Rokushiki provided a slight attribute boost.

Strength: 55 (35), Constitution: 56 (0), Defense: 402 (70), Speed: 52 (4), Spirit: 65 (5)

Feeling the power surging within him, Takeru was quite satisfied.

Following Takeru's advice, the others also purchased Observation Haki. Except for Yuta, who lacked enough points, everyone was experiencing the uniqueness of Observation Haki.

However, since they were all at the beginner level and, except for Takeru, the highest Spirit attribute belonged to Rikka (who had used a Primary Enhancement Potion) at just 60 points, mastering Observation Haki would require further tempering.

As for other exchanges, Takeru said no more. He had only offered suggestions, while the final decisions rested with each individual.
