Chapter 49 - 49: Only if He Doesn't Die Will I Have a Psychological Burden

After confirming Danzo's complete death, Tsunade took Minato to the residence where Uzumaki Mito lived.

"Sister!"

"Minato!"

Seeing the two return, Nawaki and Kushina quickly came forward to meet them.

"Hello, Grandma Mito." Minato greeted Uzumaki Mito politely. Mito smiled and waved, signaling Minato to come forward. Her aged fingers gently stroked the little yellow hair, and Mito's tone was full of concern. "You're not hurt, are you?"

Minato shook his head. "No."

"It's good that you're not hurt." Mito held Minato's hand. "Was that guy's target you?"

"It was Kushina, but the Root cause was still me," Minato said softly.

Hearing Minato say this, Mito also immediately understood what was going on and couldn't help but sigh lightly. "That kid Danzo hasn't learned anything good from Tobirama all these years; he only learned that belly full of schemes. Now he's reaped what he sowed; don't have any psychological burden."

"I don't have a psychological burden." Minato smiled shyly. "To tell you the truth, only if he doesn't die will I have a psychological burden."

"That's how it should be." Mito chuckled. Her husband was a good-natured man with no temper, but she was not.

The Uzumaki Clan's vigorous life force brought them not only abundant physical strength but also a quick temper due to excess energy, which led to almost the entire clan having a hot temper. Mito was the same when she was young. Don't look at her now that she's old, staying indoors and followed by Anbu wherever she goes. In fact, if Minato hadn't moved so fast just now, she probably would have charged into the Root by now and hung Danzo up to whip him.

During this period, let alone the Eight Trigrams Seal, even the Four Symbols Seal was not very perfect, and it was impossible to completely Seal a Tailed Beast like in Naruto's time. In other words, she completely relied on her own strength to Seal the entire Nine-Tailed firmly inside her body! What do you mean by reaching a reconciliation with the Tailed Beast to use its Chakra? Isn't it the same to just hang the Nine-Tailed up and draw it directly from the other party's body? No one really thinks the Anbu around her are there to monitor her, right?

Originally, she couldn't quite figure out why Danzo would move against Minato. Now hearing Minato say this, it wasn't hard for her to guess what the other party was planning.

"Perhaps you should pay more attention to the people around you," Mito reminded him, thinking of this.

"I have already identified the target, but the other party was also coerced," Minato said softly.

"As long as you know what you're doing." Mito nodded, becoming increasingly satisfied with Minato. She gently patted Minato's hand. "You are still too young. Don't let the schemes of adults affect your emotions and judgment. Hiruzen is in that position, and he always has various helplessness. Don't blame him; some things cannot be forced, just follow your own heart."

"Yes, I understand. Thank you for your teachings." Minato nodded humbly without the slightest impatience.

"You are Tsunade's Disciple and have inherited Hashirama's Wood Release. In my eyes, you are also my junior; no need to be so restrained." Mito smiled kindly. "How is your Wood Release study going?"

"I have already learned all the Ninjutsu on the scroll." Minato's tone was confident. "I have also created some relatively practical techniques."

The Parasitic Spores used on Danzo just now was one of them. He thought of White Zetsu's Spore Technique while researching Wood Clone seeds, and that's how he created this Ninjutsu. Using the concealment of the spores, the enemy unknowingly inhales spores containing his Chakra into their body. Once triggered, these spores will take Root in the enemy's flesh and blood, devouring the enemy's Chakra to grow wildly. It is a very practical assassination-type Ninjutsu!

Of course, this technique is not without its drawbacks. For example, if too many spores are released, they will be detected by sensory Ninjas, and the Chakra contained in the spores cannot be hidden from Dojutsu Bloodline Limits like the Byakugan and Sharingan that can observe Chakra. However, Minato was already prepared for these; he intended to combine it with the Hidden Mist Jutsu, using the thick mist containing Chakra to provide cover for the spores. The only ones who can ignore this threat are those like the Aburame Clan, who raise insects in their bodies and can detect changes in their Chakra immediately and use the insects to remove the Parasitic Spores.

"If Hashirama knew someone had inherited his Ninjutsu, he would be very happy." Mito nodded with satisfaction, then she leaned on her cane to stand up. Minato quickly stepped forward to support her. Mito took a scroll from the drawer and gave it to Minato. "Inside are some cultivation experiences recorded by Hashirama; they might be useful to you."

"Thank you, Grandma." Minato thanked her politely and took it respectfully.

"Alright, it's getting late. Tsunade, take them back early." Mito said gently. Although she also wanted to keep them for the night, this was the core area where the sealing Formation was engraved, making it inconvenient for guests to stay.

"This..." Tsunade's eyelid twitched, and her face was full of displeasure at the mention of this. "The house was blown up."

"Why don't you stay at my house first?" Minato suggested. "Tomorrow when I come back from school, I'll use Wood Release to fix the house, and it'll be fine."

"That works!" Tsunade agreed immediately and took the three youngsters to leave.

Mito sat by the window, watching the figures of the group as they walked away, her expression gradually turning cold. "Have Monkey come over for a bit."

"Yes!" The Anbu outside the window responded in a low voice and left with a Body Flicker...

A few minutes later, at Minato's house. Kushina walked into the room, looking a bit nervous. After knowing him for so long, this was her first time coming to Minato's house. Because Minato would occasionally come back to clean, even after not living there for half a year, the house was still tidy.

"Your house is quite spacious!" As soon as Nawaki entered the house, he wandered around the room carelessly. "Where am I sleeping tonight?"

"There are only three rooms in the house. Teacher and Kushina will each have one; you'll just have to squeeze in with me." Minato said casually, his tone carrying a hint of fatigue that was hard to detect. Today was the first time he had killed someone, and he had killed so many, which made him feel somewhat psychologically uncomfortable. However, it wasn't as exaggerated as what was said online, vomiting and having diarrhea...

"Oh... which one is your room?" Nawaki asked.

"The one upstairs."

"And me?" Tsunade asked.

Minato pointed to the master bedroom. "If Teacher doesn't mind, you can stay in the master bedroom."

Tsunade glanced at it and shook her head. "This should be your parents' room, right? How can I stay here? It's too impolite. You should stay there; you can let Nawaki be with you. I'll sleep in your room and let Kushina stay in the guest bedroom; it'll be convenient for her to use the bathroom at night. Let's leave it at that for now; I'm going to my room."

As she spoke, without giving the others a chance to object, she walked upstairs without hesitation, her steps even seeming a bit lighter. Looking at Tsunade's departing back, Kushina subconsciously raised her hand and opened her mouth.

No, wait... actually, I don't mind the trouble! Can the two of us swap?
