Synopsis

The Legend of Mist

In a world where bloodlines dictate worth and shadows are safer than crowns, a young boy named Sorinn is born unwanted—and survives anyway.

Illegitimate by law and invisible by necessity, Sorinn grows up knowing only one truth: to live is to stay unseen. When his mother dies, he carries nothing but her love, his father's lost prenatal necklace, and a decision that will shape history. He finds his father—the Emperor of the Alvangin Empire—and chooses not to be known, walking away to preserve a family that never knew him existed.

From that choice, a legend is born.

Under the name Mist, Sorinn trains as an assassin, joins the army as a scout, and walks into war at twelve years old. He saves battalions, wins impossible battles, and disappears before praise can find him. The Raving Lions revere him. The enemy fears him. The Empire doesn't know his name.

Until it does.

When the Emperor discovers the truth, Sorinn is pulled from shadow into light—against his will and with devastating consequences. Laws are rewritten. Nobles are terrified into silence. Wars are ended not by conquest, but by mercy. Sorinn becomes the Ghost Prince, a royal who vanishes from ceremonies, weaponizes etiquette, and turns kindness into the most dangerous policy in the world.

Around him gathers an impossible family:

* An Emperor who adopts shadows and throws spoons like warnings.

* An Empress whose love is stronger than any spell.

* Siblings who choose compassion over power.

* A Dragon Queen child who learns she does not have to sacrifice herself alone.

* An assassin uncle who adopts a thief king by accident.

* And a growing order of outcasts, geniuses, criminals, and children who believe madness can build a better world.

As ancient monster waves rise from the sea and old laws crumble, Sorinn leads not through dominance—but through refusal. Refusal to abandon children. Refusal to let cruelty masquerade as tradition. Refusal to let power exist without responsibility.

The Path of Mist becomes a humanitarian force.

The Chivalry Order of Fog and Mist rewrites warfare.

And innovation, chaos, and compassion reshape an empire.

Feared by nobles.

Beloved by the forgotten.

Terrifying to enemies.

Exhausted by parades.

The Legend of Mist is a story about quiet strength, found family, and a boy who never wanted to be seen—yet became the only reason the world survived.

Because history would one day record:

The Ghost Prince ended wars.

Rewrote laws.

Built a humanitarian empire.

But those who truly knew him understood the real truth—

Sorinn Alvangin was not the Empire's greatest weapon.

He was its greatest miracle.
