Chapter 25 - Strategy

Twenty minutes after Ekant logged out—

At exactly 4:00 p.m.

Inside the main headquarters of Genius Gamings, a subsidiary of Genius Industries.

All ten seats in the executive meeting room were occupied.

Despite the air conditioning, the atmosphere felt suffocating.

Heavy.

Exhausting.

At the head of the table sat Munich Napoli, CEO and owner of Genius Gamings.

To his right sat Fede Pacho, Head of the Development Team for Eternal Arcana of Magic.

To his left sat Chand Dhillon, Head of both the Promotional and Marketing departments.

Another key figure sat further down the table —Liu Mei, a middle-aged woman whose expression alone was enough to silence the room.

Most people present were between their thirties and sixties.

No one looked relaxed.

"I expect everyone here knows why this meeting is being held," Munich Napoli said calmly.

Everyone nodded.

They all knew.

And every single one of them was silently cursing the reason.

The legendary, innocent, merciless disaster known as—

NoName.

The meeting officially began.

"So," Munich continued, "how many announcements are required once Ekant leaves the Beginner's Forest?"

A staff member cleared his throat.

"According to reports," he began carefully,

"He annihilated the Blood Rose Garden, reached a kill count of 501, and completed the unique scenario involving an Elite Monster."

He paused.

"If we include special monsters, record-breaking survival time, and forest achievement milestones… we're looking at at least twenty-five announcements."

The room went quiet.

"…That's insane," someone muttered.

"Normally, a single announcement lasts thirty seconds," another added.

"Even five announcements would take two and a half minutes."

"And until now," a third voice chimed in,

"the system has never displayed more than two consecutive notifications."

The unspoken thought passed through every mind.

'That kid completely destroyed a B+ ranked Beginner's Forest.'

Someone raised a hand.

"I suggest we compress everything into a single announcement— marking it as completion of a unique scenario."

"That way," he continued,

"details stay hidden. Players will assume luck was involved."

A few heads nodded.

"That would also protect the game's image until more players reach midgame," Chand Dhillon added.

Consensus was reached quickly.

"Proceed with that plan," Munich ordered.

They moved on.

"The long-term event will be announced on the seventh day…"

Details followed— difficulty curves, pacing, reward structures.

Soon after, the meeting was dismissed.

Meanwhile—

At the exact moment Ekant entered the city—

A system-wide announcement appeared across the skies of Eternal Arcana of Magic.

This time—

It lasted one full minute instead of thirty seconds.

A silent apology.

〈Congratulations! Player NoName has completed the first Unique Scenario in the Beginner's Forest〉

The world froze.

Players everywhere stopped moving.

Including top-ranked players.

Excluding only two people—

Tiyan.

And the girl currently ranked first in the game.

Gaming news sites exploded instantly.

Forums erupted.

"Wait—Beginner's Forest had a unique scenario?!"

"I missed it?!"

One of the former top kill-count holders slammed his desk.

"I thought it was about monster kills… damn it!"

Others noticed something strange.

"Hold on… NoName logged in just three days ago."

"How the hell did he stay in the Beginner's Forest that long?"

More perceptive players narrowed their eyes.

"Did the devs suppress other notifications?"

Tiyan read the announcement quietly.

So they really did hide the rest…

Envy spread fast.

"He just got lucky."

"That's all. Pure luck."

And then—

The worshippers appeared.

"As expected of our God."

"He destroyed the Beginner's Forest in three days."

"NoName supremacy."

While the world argued—

Ekant walked forward, unaware.

The game had already adjusted itself around him.

And the storm he caused—

Was only beginning.
