Chapter 43 - The Sigil Library and the senior

Before him stood a massive building, stretching sideways like a great wall. That was how enormous the library was.

The Grand Archive, a place containing the dreams, sweat, and history of countless magicians and warriors.

Before its wide white gates stood the most eyecatching sight of all.

Two identical statues of knights stood guard, each holding a shield and spear. Gazing towards the sky.

Their height is far more than the library itself.

Kairos glanced up at them as he walked toward the gate.

'Damn..they're huge.'

The statues, as one might guess, were far more terrifying than ordinary decorations.

They were paragons. Actual real Paragons.

The sheer size of those things alone made that clear.

Kairos stopped in his tracks. But these weren't the only Paragons that terrified him.

Deep within the academy existed another monstrosity, far smaller than these.
