Chapter 1 - Not Just a Dream

[ With every books I finish, I realize that how I wish to live another live in another place I Don't Belong here]

I had dreamed of a dream, which used to be my dream and that dream was quite Realistic that it didn't felt like it was Justa Dream!

*

On the Night of Full Moon, I had this Dream which was so ViVid that my body could feel everything but couldn't move like I have been Paralysed!

[Inside of Dream]

_______________

The girl I saw that night in my dream was wearing a Black lace gown simple yet it looked Beautiful on her.

Maybe because her body was small, refined yet Fragile, Rosy Lips, Black-Brown hair and pale face which was laying on top of a Snowfield.

Her look itself was mesmerizing, that even I a girl could admire and adore it.

As I tried to look around to see things but, the Only things I could see was Few Tree's branches covered in Snow and a

Vast endless ocean.

*

(Looking around)

*

With nothing else in sight to see I thought I should look at the girl in the middle on this small island laying still while staring at the Sky she started murmuring to herself.

I thought she was crazy!

But the look on her face was not something that of a crazy person's Madness.

Because instead of laughing she was crying.

She was looking Sad and alone... no...she looked Lonely rather than Alone.

It was almost evening but the sun was shining bright even though it was winter considering as the island was covered in snow.

[As she showed no sign of moving at all, I thought she had passed out due to cold and all the crying.]

*Sniffles*

As I looked back at the girl she was now sitting*

She was still crying but the stream of tear was now fading by

leaving a mark on her face.

She lifted her hands while looking up at the dazzling Sun.

I thought as if she was looking at me.

But,

I couldn't see properly as the sunlight was making snowflakes shine, looking like a Brightest Star landed on ground if seen from a far.

[She was now looking at her right wrist as she lifted her Left arm]

I was about to say that maybe she was Lefty just like me then I saw–

[She slashed her wrist]

*I was Shocked!!

[As the Blood flown down from the severed Nerve, the bright and shining snow was now looking Crimson and dark,

all covered in Blood.]

*

I couldn't listen to what she said as she slashed her wrist, maybe as it was Just A Dream I couldn't seem to recall all the details from that night's dream, but one thing I heard for sure was~

"..my god...you're really crual....them just to save me...,

If my life...that much of.....to you then I'll rather kill myself then be in.... Without Them.

*splash*

*drip*

*drip*

*drip*

[She had stabbed herself with nothing but a black-blue Spark from her fingertips and bleed to dead]

As the scenario in front of me was fading I realized that this is not the world I am Living in but a fantasy world one can only dream off.

Because from the start I thought how was she now feeling cold in such outfit and why is there a dazzling sun in such a harsh, frosting cold where even I could feel the chills down to my bones.

But that sun was not even melting a single flakes of snow.

I couldn't forget her.

No matter how hard I tried, her face kept returning-

not sharply, not clearly-

but like a reflection on disturbed water.

The snow.

The blood.

The sunlight that shouldn't exist. And her voice. I pressed my palm against my chest. It still felt heavy.

Like something had been left behind in that dream… or maybe

something followed me back.

*Ring.Ring.Ring*

*huff, huff..

*Panting*

God, I am out of breathe. But wait a minute when did I fall asleep?

*Phone ringing "

Ohh, it's just priya calling me.

But why do i only have 7% charge left?

*picking phone up*

Hello, priya.

[Are you kidding me?? You was telling me your story about how you was feeling strange after that dream. And then you fall asleep on call??

You don't even know how worried I was because you just stopped talking and didn't even picked my calls.]

*

I am sorry I - I just fall asleep well, that's why I slept through your call, baby.

I didn't mean anything okay? I just dreamed of that same dream.

[So, now you're okay?]

Yes, I am totally fine but.....just feeling a little hun-g-ry. So, going to cook something right now.

[Don't cook anything, I was on my way to your house so, I'll buy something.]

Huh? Why would you come now, were you not about to go on date with your boyfriend?

[Yeah I was to, only if certain someone had answered my calls. So, I wouldn't have gotten this much worried and all. ]

Hehe, I am sorry babe just don't buy anything spicy for me and don't forget to buy me a bottle of thumbs down°

[Yeah, yeah first you scared me half to death and now you want to feast huh? I'll buy something extra spicy for you just you wait hmph.]

Please don't I said I am sorry na Brooo–

*beep ,beep*

Seriously?

Ohh God! What the–

My attention was fixed on my wrist.

There were faint red lines.

Not cuts.

Not scars.

Just… warmth.

*I frowned*

That didn't make sense.

*sight*

*Click.

The door unlocked.

"I'm coming in," Priya's voice echoed from the hallway.

Oh you're finally here! I was starving

*Thud*

A plastic bag landed on the table.

"I told you not to scare me like that," she said, softer now.

"I swear, next time I'll drag you to the hospital myself."

"I'm fine," I replied quickly.

Maybe too quickly.

She narrowed her eyes.

"You say that every time."

She handed me the drink.

Thumbs Down. Cold. Condensation dripping.

As I wrapped my fingers around the bottle—

A sharp sting shot through my arm.

"What—!"

*I gasped.

"What happened?" Priya asked.

"Nothing," I said.

A lie.

Because for a split second—

just one—

I saw snow on the floor.

Blink.

Gone.

"…You're pale," she muttered.

"Did that dream mess you up that badly?"

*I hesitated.

Then nodded.

"It felt… unfinished."

*She went quiet

-"Dreams don't end like that," she said slowly.

"They fade."

This one didn't.

That night, I didn't sleep.

Every time I closed my eyes,

I felt it again—

That freezing air.

That blinding sun.

And somewhere far away—

*Crackle.

A faint black-blue spark.

And I wanted to believe that it was nothing more than Just a Dream.

-Ahh, I am sorry

I saw her again–

*Loud noises from Commotion*

[People were in Panic and the whole streets of Mumbai were filled with Chaos]

*ughh
