Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: Changing Tactics

"Seis Fleur: Clutch!"

Robin crossed her arms in front of her chest to activate her ability.

Six arms grew out of Cyrus's body, grabbing his neck, arms, and legs.

The information they had discovered earlier hadn't concerned Cyrus too much.

After investigating the suspected location of an arsenal, the two of them boarded the boat and left immediately.

And on the boat, Cyrus's training of Robin continued.

Robin bit her lip and continued to exert force, but the arms that grew on Cyrus's body couldn't budge him in the slightest.

With a muffled grunt, Robin subconsciously covered her arm and dodged.

Cyrus retracted his finger.

"Still no feeling?" Cyrus asked, looking at Robin clutching her arm.

"No. Maybe your method is wrong!"

Robin looked at Cyrus and replied, quite helplessly.

Perceive the opponent's attack?

That was a bit too abstract for Robin.

"How is that possible? This is exactly how I mastered Observation Haki."

Hearing Robin doubt him, Cyrus immediately retorted.

"That's why you, who are younger than me, possess such formidable strength."

At his words, Robin sighed speechlessly. "After all, people are different."

"But you have to have confidence in yourself, Robin!" As Cyrus spoke, he struck again.

A sneak attack!

With a smack, Robin crossed her arms in front of her chest, blocking the incoming arm.

"See? Aren't you learning quite fast!" Cyrus said with a smile.

Robin looked at the palm blocked by her arm, her face flushing red.

"Dear Mr. Chairman, are you harassing your subordinate?"

"Nonsense. I'm helping you awaken your Observation Haki."

Cyrus's expression was serious, as if that was truly his intention.

But Robin didn't believe him.

After all, when Cyrus had trained her before, he had used the same method, though he had been more restrained back then.

Now, he wasn't even pretending.

Cyrus retracted his hand and spread it open, looking innocent.

"Robin, this is all necessary to help you get stronger. Have you grasped it now?"

"I think I feel something, but I still can't quite get a hold of it."

Hearing Cyrus's question, Robin recalled the feeling she had just as she sensed his move, but it was still a bit vague.

"Is that so!"

Seeing Robin's expression, Cyrus, who had been through this before, nodded.

Hm?

Letting out a soft sound, Robin protected her chest with both arms and retreated several steps, putting distance between herself and Cyrus.

"That's good enough. The rest is up to your own training. From now on, you'll train your Armament Haki and your body," Cyrus said with a straight face, turning to sit on the stern of the boat.

Robin's eyes were fixed on Cyrus.

Just now, she had clearly sensed that if she hadn't retreated, Cyrus would have struck out with both hands.

'But was this Observation Haki?'

'It was quite magical.'

Having preliminarily grasped Observation Haki, Robin tried to use it.

Meanwhile, Cyrus steered the boat toward their target island.

...

"We've fully withdrawn. The ammunition has been planted. If he really dares to go, he can blow up that island himself!"

In an armory on an island in the North Blue, Lao G was reporting into a Den Den Mushi.

"Kizaru is in the North Blue right now, and Germa 66 is in contact with the World Government. Make a bigger scene," Doflamingo's somewhat sinister voice sounded.

"Understood, Young Master."

Lao G indicated that he understood.

"Don't engage that man directly. If you can draw the attention of Germa 66 and the World Government to him, you can retreat."

Doflamingo instructed again.

"Young Master, I can take that brat down!" Lao G immediately declared.

"Diamante died at his hands, and he defeated Chinjao of the Flower Country before that," Doflamingo's voice came through.

From his tone, it seemed he had recovered from his anger over Diamante's death.

Nearby, Senor pink, who was sucking on a pacifier and wearing baby clothes, did not interject.

"Understood, Young Master!"

After Lao G replied, the Den Den Mushi fell asleep, indicating that the other side had hung up.

"As a man, you should face him head-on. Such tactics are not what a man should use," Pink suddenly said.

"Pink, I'm an old man, not a man," Lao G said, turning to look at Pink.

"That person is very strong, and he's a Devil Fruit user, possibly a Logia Type. He didn't even use his ability when he fought Chinjao."

It was precisely for this reason that Doflamingo had temporarily changed his method of dealing with Cyrus, shifting from a siege to diverting the disaster elsewhere.

He wanted to draw the attention of Kizaru and Germa 66 to Cyrus.

"If that's the case, I won't make a move!" Pink said, then turned and left, still sucking on his pacifier.

Lao G watched Pink leave, speechless.

Diamante was one of Doflamingo's four top executives and his direct superior.

Although he thought the guy had a terrible personality, with his Devil Fruit Ability and Swordsmanship, Diamante was not weak.

He turned his head to look at Violet.

"You heard everything. Continue to use your ability to monitor the situation. I want to know what the result will be after this."

Although such an explosion would do limited damage to a Logia user, what if the opponent was careless?

If the opponent was seriously injured, then it wasn't out of the question to change the plan and kill the guy directly.

"I understand!" Violet nodded and turned to leave.

After leaving, Violet was worried, thinking about how she could pass the information to Cyrus.

...

Not long after, the boat docked.

"They've evacuated again?"

Robin looked at the quiet island, which was covered in dense buildings but had not a single person in sight.

Cyrus used his Observation Haki to cover the island.

"They have indeed all evacuated."

"What do we do then?"

"I'll make some noise in a moment, and you..." Cyrus said, gesturing in a certain direction.

"There are people watching us from over there. You go and capture them."

Robin was taken aback. She looked where Cyrus was indicating, but the sea was empty.

But since Cyrus said so, there shouldn't be a problem.

"Okay!" Robin nodded.

Cyrus leaped up and headed for the island where the unmanned armory was located.

Boom!

A moment later, on the other side of the island, a Flame Slash descended from the sky, followed by a violent explosion.

Flames shot into the sky, and a shockwave spread out in all directions.

Robin used her ability, sprouting a dozen arms on the boat to control the oars and head toward the target's location.

Violet witnessed the huge explosion, the slash that fell from the sky, and the figure wreathed in flames in the air.

BOOM!

A series of explosions continued to ring out.

"It seems he didn't need a warning."

Violet saw that the trap had been easily dismantled by the opponent.

"It failed. Retreat!"

Violet breathed a sigh of relief, then turned to give the order.

"A boat is approaching!"

Just as Violet ordered the retreat, a man on the ship pointed at the sea and shouted.

On the surface of the sea, a small boat cut through the waves, approaching at high speed.

At the bow stood a tall, slender young woman with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Seis Fleur-Clutch!"
