Chapter 99 - Chapter 99: East Blue!

Morgans' voice was somewhat deep, but within that deep voice, one could hear an irrepressible excitement.

Big news, big news!

As one of the masters of the underworld and the president of the World Economic Journal, Morgans' only pursuit was big news that could shake the world.

Only this could give him such a feeling of excitement.

Seeing Morgans like this, the beautiful secretary beside him looked stunned.

Since joining the newspaper, aside from the three reports that proclaimed the new emperors of the New World, she had never seen the president so excited.

"Is this person really that special?"

Thinking this, she reached out, picked up the documents Morgans had placed on the desk, and glanced at them.

Her eyes widened abruptly.

Is this real?

She finished the first document in disbelief and subconsciously flipped to the second.

He fought Admiral Aokiji in the West Sea and Admiral Kizaru in the North Blue?

How on earth did this person manage that?

"Did he win?" she murmured.

"I don't know, but this is enough. The only thing to wait for now is the Navy's reaction to the major incident he caused in the North Blue."

Morgans looked at his secretary's stunned face, very satisfied with her reaction.

Yes, yes, that's the expression.

Be shocked, be shocked by the news I've brought forth.

"Will the Navy issue a bounty for him?" the secretary asked blankly, seemingly having lost the ability to think, just responding instinctively.

"Maybe, maybe not. But we'll be the first to know. However, Admiral Kizaru might have already indicated the Navy's attitude," Morgans replied after stroking his beak and thinking for a moment.

He had information on both major battles, and even quite a few photos, but the fights didn't seem to have a conclusive result.

The only thing certain was that this young man from the East Blue already possessed the strength to contend with an Admiral.

What kind of monster was this?

It had been a long time since such a person had emerged on the seas.

Perhaps Red-Haired Shanks of the New World could compare, but Shanks was much older than this young man.

At this age, the great pirates who dominated the New World had probably only just set out to sea.

The more he thought about it, the more terrifying it seemed.

"I'm not waiting anymore. Have someone start the layout immediately. I want the entire next edition of the paper to be about him."

Although Morgans wanted to wait for the Navy's specific reaction, the more he thought about it, the more he couldn't bear it, so he simply gave the order.

"Yes, President!"

The beautiful secretary, snapping back to her senses, immediately replied and turned to arrange for people to handle it.

"Come, let us shake the world together!"

Morgans seemed lost in his own imagination, and his fervor was so intense that even the people busy outside could hear it.

"Tch, the president's at it again."

The president was always like this!

...

"Let us conquer the world together."

Robin stood at the bow of a sailing pirate ship, holding a sword and pointing it in the direction the ship was heading.

"Do you really think you're a pirate now?" Cyrus, who was sitting quietly to the side watching the sea, suddenly said.

The pirates squatting neatly on the deck didn't dare to breathe too loudly.

This was a bringer of death who had fallen from the sky.

Their captain, a great pirate from the East Blue with a bounty of 5.5 million Belly, had arms sprout from his body, and then his neck was snapped.

Several other pirates who had rushed forward met the same fate as their captain.

And then, things became like this.

Hearing Cyrus's jab, Robin smiled and turned to look at him.

She felt very relaxed now.

Perhaps it was because she had been away from the West Sea long enough, or maybe it was because she had been so busy in the North Blue.

Now, having arrived in the East Blue, she suddenly felt at ease.

Then, she couldn't help but draw Cyrus's sword and strike a chuunibyou pose.

"Isn't this what you wanted? Come, let's shout 'conquer the world' together!"

Robin crouched down, trying to pull Cyrus up.

"I won't!"

Cyrus shook his head directly, not moving an inch. Naturally, Robin couldn't pull him up.

"I'm a mature man. I won't do such childish things."

What nonsense are you talking about?

Robin's expression stiffened at his words, and she then looked at Cyrus with a helpless expression.

You're clearly more childish sometimes, and now you're calling me out.

After sheathing the sword, Robin sat down next to Cyrus, tucking a strand of long hair, blown by the sea breeze, behind her ear.

"Thank you!" Robin said softly, her eyes on the sea.

"Why are you saying that?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to thank you. Ever since leaving Ohara, I've always hoped I could relax like this, without being afraid and worried." Robin spoke softly.

"But back then, those were all fantasies. And now, they've become reality."

As she spoke, Robin turned to look at Cyrus, tilting her head as if to rest her face on his shoulder.

Cyrus stood up with a whoosh.

The sudden movement made Robin's body stiffen, and she looked at Cyrus, puzzled.

"Sword!" Cyrus held out his hand.

Robin subconsciously handed the sword to him.

Swish!

A slash that cleaved the sea burst forth from Cyrus's sword.

The seawater churned, and the pirate ship beneath their feet trembled violently with the waves.

In the distance, an approaching pirate ship was sliced in two by the attack.

Sheathing his sword, Cyrus sat down again.

Under Robin's stunned gaze, Cyrus pressed her face onto his shoulder.

"Some small fry wanted to interrupt us."

Robin's lips moved as if she wanted to make a sarcastic comment, but she didn't say anything.

As for the pirates maintaining the ship's course, their eyes were now bulging out of their sockets.

'What kind of monster is he?'

These pirates, who had yet to see much of the world, were completely unable to comprehend what had just happened.

The ship continued to sail.

After passing a Naval Base, Cyrus and Robin switched vessels, boarding a merchant ship with their bounty money.

"Hmm, nine million Belly!" Cyrus said softly.

"It's not a lot, and you don't care about this, do you?" Robin asked, noticing the strange tone in Cyrus's voice.

"It's nothing. I was just reminded of when I first arrived... when I first set out to sea."

The so called great pirate Doru, plus his treasure, seemed to have contributed over nine million Belly to him as well.

"If it were you, you could get wherever you want to go very quickly. Why are we still taking a merchant ship?"

"To rest for a while!"

Cyrus turned his head to look at Robin, his gaze sweeping over the sea chart in her hands.

He should have just crossed the Red Line from the other side.

Now, they were still quite far.

But it was fine.

It gave him time to sort through his gains from this period.

After all, he hadn't been idle since leaving Shimotsuki Village.

His strength was much greater than when he had just left Shimotsuki Village.

Of course, the most important things were his use of Haki and the breakthrough in his constitution.

Ever since breaking his limits, the improvement of his constitution had accelerated again.

It was improving almost every moment.

And Unyielding, which he considered his trump card, now had its duration increased to thirty minutes, with the cooldown reduced to eighteen hours.

The improvement was already huge.
