Chapter 134 - Chapter 134: The Unexpected Arrival of a Certain Great Swordsman.

Gravity had a significant effect on improving one's training.

It was effective not only for Robin but also for Cyrus, though of course, the effect wasn't as strong as it was for her.

"That's enough!"

The moment Cyrus spoke, the terrifying gravitational pressure on his body vanished instantly.

The spot where he had been standing was now a large crater.

After getting up, Cyrus stretched his body and took a moment to glance at his status panel.

His constitution hadn't changed much.

But he could feel that it had indeed improved him.

After jumping out of the large crater, Cyrus saw Robin.

Robin's face was pale, and her clothes were soaked with sweat.

"Is it very difficult?" Cyrus asked, seeing her condition.

"I can keep going."

Robin naturally understood how much this training was improving her.

Besides, training under this kind of gravity was a luxury others couldn't enjoy.

First, you had to find someone who had eaten the Press-Press Fruit.

"Not bad. Later, I'll think of a way to get you the training method for the Navy's Six Styles."

Cyrus looked at Robin's well-defined curves.

To prevent her from developing the body of a she-hulk, mastering the Six Styles' ultimate techniques was necessary.

Of course, this intensity of training wouldn't necessarily change her figure; it was mainly a precaution.

Issho had already gone back.

He left right after deactivating his ability, serving perfectly as a tool.

However, when Cyrus and Robin returned, they saw an unexpected visitor.

A Marine Rear Admiral.

Upon seeing Cyrus, the Rear Admiral sized him up for a few moments, then walked over and raised his hand in a salute.

Cyrus squinted at the newcomer.

"Mr. Cyrus, I am Rear Admiral Darcy of the Navy's G-7 branch!"

Cyrus waved his hand dismissively.

"What is it?" Cyrus glanced at the cleared-out street, then asked.

"Vice Admiral Garp is on his way to Alabasta."

Sensing the tone in Cyrus's voice, Darcy's expression didn't change in the slightest.

He was now aware that the young man before him was very likely the one who had left that canyon in the desert.

So he stated his purpose directly.

"This time, Vice Admiral Garp has a favor to ask of you, Mr. Cyrus."

"A favor to ask of me?"

Cyrus was taken aback to hear that Garp was coming.

"Ask me what? I shouldn't have much to do with the Navy right now!"

"I'm not clear on that. I was only ordered to inform you of his visit. The specific details will likely have to wait until Vice Admiral Garp arrives."

"I don't have time to wait around here."

Cyrus shook his head and turned to leave.

Seeing this, Darcy didn't try to stop him.

Because when Garp had contacted him, he had already mentioned that this might happen.

Following behind Cyrus, Robin glanced back at Rear Admiral Darcy leading his men away, then turned back.

"Vice Admiral Garp has business with you?"

Robin knew Cyrus had met Garp, but Cyrus had never mentioned any other connections with the Navy, let alone that he had fought with Navy Admirals.

"It's probably some troublesome matter."

Cyrus shook his head slightly.

"But for Garp to come here personally, I can pretty much guess what it's about."

"You mean?"

Robin pondered for a moment upon hearing this, and her clever mind also came up with a possibility.

"The matter of the Navy being attacked by a Shichibukai?"

"It should be that. Garp is coming to find me, so it seems the Navy can't handle it themselves."

Cyrus shook his head slightly as he spoke, his tone a bit odd.

"The Navy can't take this person down? The Shichibukai are powerful, but if the Navy was determined to capture this person, it shouldn't be that difficult, right?"

"Who knows. Maybe they're wary of Kaido, who's backing him." Cyrus shook his head in response to Robin's words.

"Don't worry about them. We'll just continue with our own business. By the way, buy all the newspapers from the past few days."

"Okay!" Robin nodded.

...

Issho looked at the two who had come back.

"The Navy has business with you?"

"Yes, Garp is looking for me. It's probably related to the news of the Navy being attacked."

"So, they want you to deal with this Shichibukai?"

Issho immediately understood upon hearing this.

"That's my guess. It's also possible that Garp is coming to recruit me again because of what I did in Alabasta, but that's unlikely."

"Then what should we do? If it's a matter of fighting a Shichibukai, this old man can certainly act." Issho actually volunteered for battle.

"Sure, if we run into him, you can make a move!"

Cyrus nodded immediately upon hearing this.

...

On his way to Alabasta, Garp received Darcy's report and wore an "I knew it" expression.

"It seems he won't be waiting in Alabasta," Bogart said.

"That's for sure. He didn't react much when I showed up in person before. Sending a message this time is naturally useless."

Garp tossed the Den Den Mushi to Bogart, his expression somewhat inscrutable.

'Maybe I should just handle it myself, after all, Zephyr is an old friend of mine.'

"Vice Admiral Garp, how do you plan to persuade Cyrus this time?"

Bogart saw Garp's expression and, based on his understanding of the man, guessed what he was thinking, so he immediately spoke up to interrupt Garp's thoughts.

"Well, when the time comes, any condition will be on the table." Garp said, stroking the beard on his chin.

"Huh? Fleet Admiral Sengoku probably won't agree to that, will he?" Bogart was dumbfounded.

"I'm the one looking for him this time. Since Sengoku entrusted this to me, then naturally, I call the shots."

Garp waved his hand.

"Let's just figure out how to corner this guy."

"Why don't you contact him directly? Using this."

Bogart raised his hand, gesturing to the Den Den Mushi he was holding.

Garp's face stiffened.

"Vice Admiral Garp, don't tell me you didn't think of this method?"

Bogart's words made Garp's expression change.

"How could that be? I just felt it would be more sincere to meet in person to discuss it. But you're not wrong. Contact that Darcy and have him deliver the Den Den Mushi to Cyrus."

"Yes, sir!"

Although Bogart was speechless, he immediately carried out the order.

...

On the seas of Paradise, a simple-looking small boat drifted with the waves.

A News Bird descended from the sky and dropped off a newspaper.

Just as it was about to collect payment, it saw the man sitting on the boat look up.

The News Bird's eyes met the man's, and it froze stiff all over.

Then, it flapped its wings frantically and hastily flew away.

Hawkeye's hand, which was reaching for money, paused.

He looked quizzically at the hastily departing News Bird, then his gaze fell on the newspaper it had left behind.

On the newspaper, a photograph immediately caught his attention.

It was an aerial photo.

A massive fissure cut through the desert.

The canyon it formed reflected a rainbow of colors in the sunlight.

"A slash? Is this Alabasta? It seems to be nearby."
