Chapter 5 - Coordinator Trainer Nysa

This was the advantage of having a Flying-type Pokémon—going anywhere was incredibly convenient.

Of course, using a flying Pokémon within the city required a flight permit. Not only did the person have to pass an exam, but the Pokémon had to pass one as well.

Otherwise, flying within city limits was strictly forbidden.

After all, with so many skyscrapers in the city, if an accident happened—who would take responsibility?

After Director Hawke dismissed the teachers and students, many students wanted to sneak over to the rest area to watch the excitement, but they were quickly called away by their teachers.

Aside from the fact that it was still class time, the more important reason was to avoid disturbing Kael and the others. After all, they had spent an entire month fighting and killing inside the Secret Realm and needed proper rest.

Of course, there were exceptions—such as Lyra.

In the entire school, everyone knew Lyra was Kael's younger cousin. After saying a few words to the teacher, she happily skipped her way toward the training field's rest lounge.

Seeing this, Nori couldn't help but feel envious—but there was nothing she could do. She didn't have a brother like Kael.

In Class 1 of Grade 2, when Aria saw Kael return safely, she finally relaxed. She had wanted to go find him as well, but Professor Alderon had ordered them back to class, leaving her with no choice.

Some things couldn't be done too obviously. If her mother found out, it would be a full-blown volcanic eruption.

So she obediently returned to the classroom.

"Aria, isn't that Lyra?" Elayne suddenly said.

Aria turned around and saw Lyra's bouncing figure. A trace of helplessness flashed through her eyes as she said calmly,

"One look and you know it's her. Who else could it be? She's always glued to Kael. Now that he's back, of course she's going to him."

"Hehe, Aria—Kael has such a clingy little sister. You're going to have a hard time in the future," Elayne teased with a grin.

After all, sisters like that were classic brother-con types. The moment their brother had any female friends, they became extremely vigilant—afraid someone might steal him away.

"If I had such a handsome brother, I wouldn't let any other girls get close to him either," a beautiful girl beside them chimed in.

That girl was Nysa.

Hearing this, Aria felt even more helpless. Both Elayne and Nysa were right—Lyra really did guard against her like a thief.

She and Lyra had already engaged in countless battles of wits.

Just thinking about it gave her a headache. Having such a future sister-in-law would really be troublesome.

"Tch, what's so great about it? It's not like I don't have Pokémon," an untimely voice suddenly cut in.

The three girls turned to look. When they saw who it was, Aria and Elayne frowned, while Nysa sneered coldly.

"Yeah, everyone has Pokémon. It's just that some people once pushed their own Pokémon to its death and then ran back in disgrace. I really don't know how someone like that still has the face to say such things."

"Nysa!!! Don't talk nonsense!"

Drake flew into a rage, his face flushed. "That was an accident! I'm warning you—don't spread rumors! Otherwise don't blame me for being rude!"

Nysa looked at him calmly, completely unafraid.

"Oh? I'd like to see how you plan to be rude. I may not be a battle Trainer, but we Pokémon Coordinator Trainers aren't someone a coward like you can bully."

As she spoke, she casually waved the Poké Ball in her hand.

Seeing this, Drake was so angry he stammered for a long time without managing to say a full sentence.

"What are you doing?! Do you all have nothing better to do? Get back to class—now!"

Professor Alderon's voice rang out at that moment, startling the four of them. Nysa snorted at Drake in displeasure, then strode away on her long legs.

Aria and Elayne ignored Drake as well and left quickly.

Drake clenched his teeth and followed.

Before long, most of the students had cleared out of the training field.

At the same time, inside the training field's rest lounge, Kael and Bren's group of five were chatting, sharing stories of the Secret Realm and what treasures they had obtained.

"Let me tell you—this time in that low-level Secret Realm, I actually got a Fire Stone. Once I sell it, I can buy the Flying-type ultimate move Hurricane skill disc. As soon as my Swellow learns it, its strength will jump up another level."

The others immediately grew envious.

"Damn, your luck's insane—getting a Fire Stone in a low-level Secret Realm."

"Seriously. I went to a low-level one too—why did I only get a few Oran Berries?"

"Be grateful. I didn't even get a single feather."

Listening to their complaints, Bren smiled, then turned to Kael, who had been smiling quietly.

"Kael, you must've gotten a lot this time, right?"

As soon as Bren said that, everyone looked at Kael. After all, he had gone into a mid-level Secret Realm—there had to be good stuff.

"It was alright. I just got three Pokémon Eggs," Kael said with a grin.

"Damn—how is that just 'alright'? That's huge! Even a Pokémon Egg with ordinary aptitude costs five to six hundred thousand—and that's for Caterpie-type stuff. Anything better is way more expensive. And you're saying this is just okay?"

"Exactly. And Pokémon from mid-level Secret Realms definitely won't have low aptitude. At least mid-tier—maybe even high-tier."

A glint flashed through Bren's eyes as he asked,

"Kael, what Pokémon are in those three eggs?"

"One Pichu, one Pidgey, and one Shinx," Kael answered without hiding anything.

Among the three, only Shinx was relatively rare. Besides, with Kael's Elite-tier strength, no one would dare mess with him casually.

And in Yanxia, robbing someone else's Pokémon was a serious crime—even the rich preferred to buy with money.

"Shinx, huh… Kael, your luck is ridiculous. Luxray's final evolution is insanely cool."

The others nodded in agreement. Luxray truly looked like a lion king among Pokémon.

"Kael, are you selling the Shinx?" Bren asked.

"Don't even think about it. I'm raising Shinx myself. I'm not selling Pichu either," Kael said irritably.

"But do you want the Pidgey? It's the offspring of an Elite-tier Pidgeot—its aptitude won't be bad."

Bren's eyes lit up.
