Chapter 10 - Second Floor, Blue Goblin

"I think I may have gone too far lecturing her."

(It wasn't excessive at all. That girl has a unique skill that doubles experience. If she didn't take so many days off and hunted diligently, she might have already reached Rank 3—or even Rank 4.)

Rega fell silent for a few seconds.

"What did you say? A unique skill?"

Ai nodded gently.

"Now I feel like my actions weren't excessive at all."

(That's right. There's no need to worry about others. Master should focus on yourself.)

Rega nodded, went to sell the magic crystals, then stopped by the hunter equipment shop.

Since Rega was still registered as a beginner, he received a discount on every weapon purchase.

Raka's eyes were immediately drawn to a red spear displayed on the shop wall.

The price suited his funds perfectly. Twenty-two thousand before the discount, and twenty thousand after.

'From now on, I need to hunt more diligently and earn more money.'

Rega bought the spear after confirming its attributes.

At a glance, it didn't look any different from an ordinary iron spear, but in reality, it was made from magical material, making it ten times lighter than a normal iron spear.

It also had an additional attribute: an increase of one thousand points to attack speed!

Rega's AGI was already close to two thousand. With the additional one thousand points, his attack speed would become truly terrifying.

(This type of spear is excellent for fast attacks and efficient hunting, but it's very fragile against monsters with high defense.)

Ai gave her opinion after observing the spear in Rega's hand.

"I know. From the beginning, this spear was only meant for hunting goblins."

(That's the right decision.)

---

The next day, Rega returned to Jaran Dungeon. He slaughtered all the green goblins he encountered along the way, then descended to the second floor.

Before entering the second floor, there was a safe zone often used by beginner hunters to rest.

There, Rega saw three groups of hunters taking a break. He walked past them without paying attention to their chatter.

The monsters on the second floor were blue goblins. Unlike green goblins, blue goblins were slightly smarter and far stronger.

They were already familiar with weapons such as wooden clubs, primitive stone axes, and even slingshots.

Usually, hunters who went down to the second floor formed parties with others. It was very rare for someone to move alone.

But Rega had a special reason for hunting solo.

If he formed a party with other hunters, his abnormal leveling speed would definitely draw attention.

Rega didn't want his secret exposed, so he chose to hunt alone.

Gaa!

Three blue goblins ambushed him, wielding stone axes and wooden clubs.

Rega wasn't worried in the slightest thanks to his high AGI stat.

The moment the blue goblins appeared, Rega instantly realized he was being ambushed. In that brief instant, he calmed himself and killed them with his spear.

His thinking speed was no longer at the level of an ordinary human. A normal person would have panicked and fled before being caught by the blue goblins.

(Blue Goblin kill confirmed. EXP successfully doubled!)

(Level up, level up, level up!)

Rega smiled fiercely and hurried off to search for more blue goblins.

Stab! Slash!

Rega danced across the second floor of the dungeon, slaughtering dozens of blue goblins in one go.

This happened repeatedly. Thanks to the additional one thousand attribute points provided by the spear, Rega managed to kill over a thousand goblins before nightfall.

Blue goblin magic crystals were slightly more valuable than those of green goblins, making this a profitable hunt.

"Rega, you came again today?" Mawar greeted him with a warm smile.

"Yes. Today's hunt went well too. Please exchange these for money."

Rega handed over the blue goblin magic crystals.

Already used to the surprises Rega brought, Mawar was no longer shocked by the mountain of magic crystals on the counter.

"The money has been transferred. Please check it."

Rega smiled and replied casually, "No need. I trust you."

Mawar smiled sweetly and winked her beautiful eyes.

"So you've learned how to flirt with women now? You naughty boy."

Rega only let out an awkward laugh at Mawar's remark.

The two chatted happily until another hunter arrived to sell magic crystals as well.
