Alex sat up "So, what do you guys wanna do today?", Serena responded "Isn't it obvious? We're too tired for that.", Kinto looked around "Hey, has anyone heard from Deo and the rest?", Serena explained "Yeah, Runo and I spoke yesterday. They're alright, but they're worn out from whatever intense mission they went on.", Kinto sighed "Makes sense.". Kazuki sighed "Well, atleast it's worth it. Right?", everyone looked at him "Huh?", they exclaimed. Alex on the other hand didn't react, instead he took a more comfortable resting position to listen to Kazuki "What is?", he asked. Kazuki explained "I mean, normally, kids don't start their assassin journey unless they've already turned 13 years old, or are few months away from 13. Compared to other set of solidiers before us, we started early.", Kinto looked a bit confused and annoyed "Wait, are you saying we're having it easy compared to previous generations or something?.", Serena intervened "Yeah, Kazuki, you can't just say that.", Kazuki responded "I'm not saying that.". He continued to talk "We started as D-rankers, but we made it into C-rank faster than other kids our age, that alone says a lot about us. On our first mission, we almost died, our second mission was also a C-rank mission too, and we were just D-ranks. The system just wanted us to taste a little bit of pain before we ranked up completely.". Serena seemed relieved "So what you're saying is that we started too early while going through a few things. That's cool.", Alex teased "You should probably learn how to be a little less blunt, Kazuki.", Kazuki looked at him with slight annoyance "More like you all should have better intuition.". Currently, Alex sat down in a cave, it was raining heavily on the outside, Alex had walked for several hours before now. He sat quietly in the cave as the sound of rain drops echoed all over the lands, roasted flesh from a wild beast was laying on his lap "That's right. We were just D-ranks when we went on our first dangerous mission. Those missions were meant for C-ranks, but Kojin made us go anyway.", he sighed "Well, it is what it is. I mean I crashed out on those missions, but I was still able to complete them. And plus, one of them where we had to kill Bara....", Alex remembered the fight he and Kazuki had against Bara as kids "Kazuki was the one who helped me on that.". After clearing his mind from the flashback, Alex kept quiet for a while. He blinked "Well, I have no doubt In my mind that we would have survived regardless.", Alex stood up "Time to get going.". It's that dangerous? Well if I don't want to stress much on fighting it, I'll just use one of my demon modes or something.", another notification appeared [ALL YOUR DEMON FORMS ARE LOCKED NO USE OF THEM UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!], Alex screamed "AAAAAA?! DONT FUCK WITH MEEEE!". Shenragon sent another notification [YOU'RE TO DEPEND ON YOUR BASE POWER, AS WELL AS YOUR BASE DEMONIC POWER ALONE! YOUR DEMON INFERIOR FORM AND YOUR DIVINE FORM WONT BE NEEDED!], Alex had an annoyed yet stern look on his face "Oi, what's with all these games you're playing?!", Shenragon sent a new notification [Good Luck, and don't die!], the notification dissappeared. Alex still looked stunned, he took a sigh and then started doing stretches "Hah! Really? Well, it's not like I'm weak or anything. I've been training myself as an assassin and soliders since I was little. I've had all the time in the world to become this strong.", he smirked "Bring it on.". He walked out of the cave while holding a piece of cooked meat "Good thing I ate some wild beasts before coming here.", Alex instantly vanished with flashstep. Meanwhile, in the dimension he was sent too, Kinto was having the most fun he has ever had until now. He was flying around while dodging beams, slashes and giant structure of lava "HAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! MAHN, THIS IF FUN!". Spears made from lava fell from above like rain, balls of lava dropped all over like bombs, slashes of lava chased Kinto as he flew and weaved around faster than the speed of light. The bear proceeded to create giant shurikens of lava and flinged them at him. The wastelands exploded upon the rampage that was happening, the giant lava bear had lost all of its control "ROAAAAAAAR!". Kinto's explosive mark was activated, the grey metal glove on his hand turned into a revolver, the glove he had made from Zenon [DRAGNIAR ZENOTON] had been activated with colorful sparks of energy crackling around it "ALRIGHT, LETS FUCKING GO!", Kinto yelled with excitement, smiling ear to ear.
