Chapter 78 - Chapter 76 graduation

Jay pov

The ride from the Mariano estate to the Watson fortress was much quieter than the trip from the airport. Moya, Kit, C in, and the rest of the Section E boys had all headed off to their own family mansions in Manila. Even though they were a chaotic mess, they all had their own wealthy families to report to.

Now, it was just the four of us in the armored SUV: me, my hubby, and his two younger brothers.

Chapter: Home and Little Rascals

The "Black Box" mansion looked even more intimidating at night, with blue lights glowing along the cliffside. As the car pulled up to the main entrance, Keiran and Keigan were already yawning.

"Finally," Keigan stretched, looking out the window. "I love the boys, but Kit's screaming was giving me a headache."

Same," Keiran agreed. He turned to me with a sleepy, mischievous grin. "Hey, Mumma, are you gonna make sure the kitchen is stocked with those snacks we like? The Mariano house only had healthy stuff."

I laughed, reaching over to ruffle his hair. "I'll see what I can do, but don't think you're getting away with eating junk all night."

"See? This is why she's the best, Kuya," Keiran said, looking at Keifer.

Keifer just smirked, his arm wrapped tightly around my shoulders. "She's the best because she's mine. Now, get inside "

"Yes, Kuya," they said in unison, though they were both grinning. Even though Keifer was the scary CEO to the rest of the world, to them, he was just the big brother who kept everything together. And for some reason, they had started calling me Mumma ever since Keifer and I got married—mostly because I was the only one who could actually get them to behave.

The Quiet House

We stepped into the foyer. Without the ten other boys of Section E, the house felt huge and peaceful. The staff had already placed our bags in our rooms.

"Goodnight, Kuya. Goodnight, Mumma!" Keigan called out as he headed toward the elevator to his wing of the house.

"Don't stay up playing video games!" I shouted after them.

We won't!" Keiran lied loudly as he followed his brother.

Keifer sighed, a tired but happy sound. He turned me around to face him, his hands resting on my waist. "Finally. Just us."

"They're good kids, babe," I said, leaning my head on his chest.

"They're troublemakers," he corrected, kissing the top of my head. "But they love you. I think they like having a Mumma around to boss them around almost as much as I like having a weify to come home to."

"Go to bed, hubby," I giggled. "We have a big day tomorrow."

The Graduation Morning

The sun was barely up over Tagaytay, but the Watson mansion was already buzzing. Today wasn't just any day—it was graduation day. After all the drama in Japan and the chaos with the Marianos, we were finally crossing the finish line.

I was standing in front of the full-length mirror, trying to pin my graduation cap onto my hair. I wore a white dress under my black gown, feeling a mix of nerves and pure excitement.

"Mumma, you look so pretty!" Keigan shouted, bursting into the room. He and Keiran were already dressed in their school uniforms, looking sharp. Even though they weren't graduating yet, they were more excited than anyone.

"Thanks, sweetie," I said, giving him a quick hug. "Is your Kuya ready?"

"I'm right here, weify," a deep voice said from the doorway.

I turned and my heart stopped. Keifer was standing there in his graduation gown, but he made it look like a king's robe. His cap was tucked under his arm, and his hair was perfectly styled. He looked so handsome it actually hurt to look at him.

"You look amazing, babe," I whispered, walking over to him.

He wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close. "You're the one who looks amazing. I can't believe we're finally doing this. From the boardroom to the classroom, and now to the stage."

"Get a room, Kuya!" Keiran teased, leaning against the doorframe. "We have to go. The Section E boys are already texting. They're at their houses getting ready, and Kit says if we're late, he's going to start the ceremony without us."

The Reunion

We arrived at the school in a convoy of Watson SUVs. As soon as we stepped out, the cameras started flashing. We were the "Power Couple" of the school, after all.

"JAY-JAY! KEIFER!"

I turned to see the rest of Section E jumping out of their own expensive cars. They looked incredible. Kit had decorated his graduation cap with actual crystals, Moya was wearing sunglasses even though we were indoors, and C in was already trying to organize a group photo.

"Look at us!" Moya cheered, throwing his arm around Keifer's shoulder. "The most dangerous graduating class in the history of the Philippines!"

Speak for yourself, Moya," Keifer said, though he was smiling. "Some of us actually studied."

"I studied!" Kit defended himself, adjusting his gown. "I studied the art of looking fabulous while failing math. But hey, I passed! We all passed!"

The Ceremony

We lined up in the hallway, the air thick with the smell of expensive perfume and floor wax. I stood right behind Keifer. Keigan and Keiran were sitting in the front row of the audience, waving at us and shouting, "Go Mumma! Go Kuya!" every five seconds.

As the music started playing, we began to walk. I felt a sudden wave of emotion. I looked at the back of Keifer's head, thinking about everything we had been through. The kidnapping, the fights, the "Monster" moments, and the "Green Forest" moments.

When it was my turn to walk across the stage, the applause was deafening. I saw my father, Jasper Mariano, sitting in the back, looking proud despite himself. But my eyes went straight to the front row.

"That's my weify!" Keifer shouted, breaking the formal silence of the ceremony.

The whole school erupted in laughter and cheers. I took my diploma, blushing bright red, and walked back to my seat.

The Final Toss

When the principal finally declared us graduates, the room went wild.

"On three!" Kit yelled. "One... two... THREE!"

We all threw our caps into the air. A sea of black and gold flew toward the ceiling. In the middle of the shouting and the hugging, Keifer found me. He grabbed my waist and lifted me off the ground, spinning me around.

We did it, weify," he whispered against my lips.

"We did it, hubby," I said, kissing him deeply while Section E cheered and whistled around us.

Keigan and Keiran ran up to us, throwing their arms around our waists. "Happy graduation, Mumma! Happy graduation, Kuya!"

As we stood there as a family, surrounded by our best friends, I knew the real adventure was just beginning. We weren't just students anymore; we were Watsons. And the world wasn't ready for what we were going to do next.

The graduation party was still in full swing at the Watson fortress. The infinity pool was glowing blue, and the music was thumping, but the real meeting was happening in the private lounge.

Section E was scattered across the leather sofas, looking a bit messy but very happy. Kit was cooling his feet in the fountain, and Moya was halfway through a plate of lechon.

"So," Kit said, tossing his crystal-covered graduation cap onto the table. "This is it? We all just go our separate ways to different countries? I'm going to cry. I'm literally going to dehydrate from crying."

"I'm supposed to go to Harvard," Erdix muttered, staring at his laptop. "But the Wi-Fi in Massachusetts is trash compared to the private fiber optic I set up here."

I looked at Keifer. He was sitting in the big armchair, and I was perched on the armrest, his hand resting possessively on my knee. My hubby looked like he was thinking hard.

"Why go anywhere?" Keifer asked, his voice deep and commanding. The room went silent.

"What do you mean, babe?" I asked, looking down at him.

"We live in the Philippines. The Watsons and the Marianos practically built the top universities here," Keifer said, a smirk playing on his lips. "I'm not moving to London or New York and leaving my weify's side. And I don't feel like finding a new group of idiots to hang out with."

The Decision

"Are you saying... we all go to the same school here?" Moya asked, his eyes widening. "Like, a Section E takeover of a university?"

"Precisely," Keifer said. "I'll buy a block of luxury condos near the campus. We'll have our own security, our own floor, and Erdix can build a private server room."

"I'M IN!" Kit screamed, jumping up. "I don't want to learn American English anyway! I want to stay here where everyone knows I'm famous!"

"Me too," C in added, raising a glass. "Imagine the parties. The 'Watson University' era. It's going to be legendary."

One by one, all the friends agreed. It was a pact. They weren't just friends; they were a brotherhood.

The New Life

The next few weeks were a blur. While most students were stressing about dorm applications, our group was busy planning a literal empire.

"Mumma! Look!" Keigan ran into the living room, showing me a brochure. "Since you and Kuya are staying in the Philippines for college, can we go to the same campus for senior high?"

"We'll see, sweetie," I laughed, kissing his cheek. "Kuya is already talking about building a new library there, so you'll probably have your own private lounge."

"Of course they will," Keifer said, walking in with a stack of legal papers. He looked at me, his eyes softening. "I just signed the lease for the top three floors of the 'Diamond Tower' near the university. One floor for the boys, one floor for security and offices, and the penthouse... just for us."

"You're amazing, hubby," I whispered, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I just want you close, weify," he rasped, pulling me into a hug. "University is a big place. Lots of guys. Lots of distractions. I need everyone to know that even if we're just students, you're still the wife of the man who owns the skyline."
