In the year 999AD in a village that wasn't too large but was a good size to have around the population of 250 people within this village. This village was within the nation of Solmar and ruled by a ruthless king that is skilled with a blade. King Roderick Ashbourne, the king who rules over the nation of Solmar. King Roderick Ashbourne had 6 children with different women, mainly slave women. These 6 children were all roughly the same age ranging from 14-17. They trained in combat with King Roderick Ashbourne to become his Heir to the throne. Two slave women who both had cleaning jobs together, these women are King Roderick Ashbourne's slaves. One had the name of Elara Ashvale and the other was Kira Valewood. Elara Ashvale had long blond hair with blue eyes, she was washing the king's clothes. Kira Valewood had long brown hair and brown eyes, she was hanging the clothes to dry.
"Kira, what would you do if you had a child." Elara spoke emotionlessly in wonder of how she would answer.
Kira delivers a soft smile and speaks "I would protect it with my life of course."
Elara turns her head toward Kira in confusion. "How could you know that though... What makes you know that that's what you would do?" Elara speaks in a fast pace wanting a quick answer.
Kira smile fades as she answers. "Because I have lost a child of mine before. They were 5 before ..." Before Kira could finish a loud commotion can be heard a few houses down.
"King Roderick Ashbourne has returned from his fight" Someone yells out loud to alert every one of the king's arrival. Elara and Kira both head over to see the king on his horse and 3 of his men on horses behind him going down the dirt road trail the citizens have made for them like at a parade.
You can hear people from the crowd yell "We are so glad your back King Roderick" as the king passes everyone without saying a word.
A week later:
A week passes and as Kira and Elara were on cleaning duty, Kira speaks up.
"So uhm, I am pregnant" Kira says nervously but also quite happy.
"With who!?" Elara speaks up desperate to know.
"Well, it was King Roderick who gave me this child." Kira says whilst happy and not at the same time.
"Why would he do that when he has so many children! Does he not have an Heir or something!" Elara says being unhappy with the king.
Kira tries to calm Elara down telling her it's okay. "This is like a second chance for me. I am okay with this." Kira says with a smile.
Elara nods and turns back around not looking pleased.
1 week later
One week passes and Elara finds herself pregnant by the king aswell.
"Kira, I don't know what to do! I have a baby!!" Elara speaks in panic and fear.
Kira smiles.
"Why are you smiling, I know you're okay with your child but i've never had one and I don't know what to do!" Elara speaks urgently and fast.
"This will be the greatest thing that will ever happen to you Elara. Trust me." Kira speaks honestly.
The Year of 1000AD
early on in this year, both Elara and Kira had given Birth to 2 healthy boys.
