Sophia stared at Helena.
"Someone Sebastian trusts?"
Helena nodded.
"Very closely."
Sebastian heard them from across the room.
"Who?"
Helena didn't answer.
A gunshot sounded from the corridor.
Everyone ducked.
Another bullet struck the wall.
Sebastian grabbed Vivian and pulled her behind the concrete pillar.
"Sophia, stay down."
Sophia pulled Helena lower.
Adrian was no longer smiling.
He looked toward the doorway.
"They're coming for the case."
Sebastian glanced at him.
"You knew this would happen."
"I knew they wanted it."
"Then tell me who they are."
Adrian shook his head.
"You don't understand. If I give you names, none of us leave this building."
Sophia looked at him.
"You're already working for them."
"I was."
"Were?"
Adrian swallowed.
"Until they decided I knew too much."
Another shot echoed.
Footsteps moved closer.
Helena grabbed Sophia's arm.
"There's another exit."
"Where?"
"Behind the old records room."
Sebastian heard her.
"Take Vivian."
