Jay's POV
Rest of the day spend we section e and Mia chaos.I kinda missed it.I went home and messaged Alex ,"I want Reyes group to apologise publicly to Mia.You know what to do.
Soon reply , On it. I lied down and soon drifted to Sleep.
The next morning š
I woke up and went to school with Aries he said to me not to cause trouble .And inform him if anyone cause trouble for me and Mia .
He already knows about Mia by Ella and me.He sees her as his sister just like me.
We reached the school.Mia was there in section e building as soon as she sawe she hugged me and kissed my cheeks š.
"Good morning, Sis",she greeted.
"Good morning, Sweetpea ",I said kissing her forehead.
"Jay , I also want a kiss ",Cin said hugging me.
"Here you go , Cin ",I said giving him a kiss too.
"Mia so you like here ??",I asked her.
"I love it here.They are so cool and funny only some are annoying",she said looking at Felix.
"Did I miss something ",I asked looking between them.
"Jay, Mia and Felix bumped each other while coming inside and Felix catch Mia before falling and they started arguing about gravity and walking blindly",Cin said grinning.
"That was really gravity fault. But he (pointing a Felix) is having sight problem I think. And he is so rude too",she said annoyed š .
"I'm not rude.Instead of thanking me for saving you , you started blaming me.Stupid girl ",Felix said pointing at Mia.His ears were slightly red, betraying a hint of flustered irritation he didn't want to admit.
"How dare you call me stupid, Mr . Annoying",she said to Felix.And yes, they started arguing.
"Stop it both of you ",I said to both of them but they ignored me and started with their work.The bickering felt normal, a lively warmth that filled the room after yesterday's gloom
"Jay, there is an announcement by Sam in main hall.You should go their ",David said to me.
"Let's go",I said to him.All of us moved to main hall.Section e behind me as army.I could feel their collective support radiating behind my back like a solid wall of shields.
We reached main hall.As soon as Sam sawe he said ,"Someone said they will be make me publicly apologise.What happened now, failed ?",he said looking at me.
"You know Mia, stray dogs are quiet impatient.",I said to Mia looking straight at Sam. His jaw tighten.Mia and other chuckled
And then Sam started insulting us,"I want to inform you all something ,that girl Mia is such a flirt and slut girl.She was behind me and when I refused her she punched me and spread the rumor that I forced her.She and her sister both are same , running behind boys for attention.Flirting with them.A whore."Mia's grip on my arm tightened, her small frame trembling as his venomous words struck her like physical blows.She was losing her control.
Then A right slap placed in his cheeks.
It was his father.
"Stop it.What the hell are you speaking š£ļø?",he said to him.Then he turned to me,"Ms.Mariano, I'm sorry .. so really.Please forgive my son .He was wrong .He shouldn't have talk to your sister like that ",he said kneeling down and bowing.The sheer desperation in his voice sent a ripple of shocked silence through the entire hall.
"That what are you doing here ? Why are you kneeling I'm front of these bitch ?",he said to his father.His father again gave him a hard slap."You don't know who you are messing with apologize.. apologize to them immediately.Before we are bankrupted ",he said forcing him to kneel too.
"Your son apologize does not seen sincere,.Mr Reyes",I said in my cold voices.I stood tall, my gaze icy and unforgiving, letting the weight of my presence crush Sam's ego into the floor.
"Apologise or I will kick you out of Reyes family ",His father threatened.Now there was fear in his eyes.The arrogance he wore like armor shattered, leaving him pale and shivering.He started apologizing to me and Mia . He confessed whatever he said earlier was a lie.
"Ms.Mariano, could you please forgive us now ?",he asked me.
"Your son crossed a line , which he shouldn't. Now it's time for your consequences.",I said to him.Them whispered near his ear ",Get out, before I might forget we are in school.Don't everyone let your son come in front of me and my sister."My voice was a low, lethal promise that made him flinch as if I'd struck him. He stood and left the school with Sam.
Everyone look at me with shocked eyes. But now everyone knew that they can't just mess with me or Mia and go away.
"You were looking so cool š , Jay "Cin said.
"How did you do that, Sis ?",Mia asked amused,her tears already forgotten in the wake of such a spectacular victory
"Secret š¤«",I replied. Everyone headed back to their classrooms.
I also went to Section e, Sir Alvin gave me a polite node. Mia and she and keep jumping around saying that you are looking so cool ,that was show badsaa,you were so sassy,Jay.
Keifer's POV
The moment Sam starting insulting Mia and Jay.I was holding my beast inside to not kill him.My knuckles turned white as I balled my fists, my blood boiling with a primal urge to tear him apart for every foul word that left his mouth.I really wanted to punch him until he forgets his own name.
But then his dad came and slapped him . He was apologize , kneeling down and begging jay for forgiveness.I was shocked.How did Jay do this.How can make their company on verge on bankrupcy.She have some secret.
But right now I was feeling proud seeing my queen , like this bold and confident.The way she stood her ground, unbothered by the chaos she had unleashed, made my heart swell with an intense, fierce admiration.That bastard still didn't apologise but his Dad threatened him to kick him out of family so he apologized.Watching him crumble under Jay's silent power was more satisfying than any punch I could have thrown.
As the crowd began to disperse, a heavy, suffocating bitterness washed over me. I'm leaving for London today, I thought, my chest tightening with every breath. My flight was just hours away, and I was about to be thousands of miles away from the only person who mattered.
"I'm going to miss her like crazy," I thought, my eyes following her every move as she laughed with Mia. "But would she even notice I'm gone? To her, I'm probably just another face in Section E. If I told her I was leaving, she'd probably just give me a cold nod or a polite 'safe flight.' She doesn't care. She doesn't feel this ache in her chest like I do."
I clenched my teeth, swallowing the urge to walk up to her and beg her to wait for me. "It doesn't matter," I told myself, trying to harden my heart. "I'll go to London, I'll handle the business, and I'll fly back the very second I'm free. I will earn her trust back I know this will not be easy but I will try best her forgiveness.".
I turned away before she could catch me staring, my heart feeling like it was being left behind on the cold floor of the main hall.
After school ended, I waited until I saw Jay and Mia leave the gates. Once they were gone, I signaled to the rest of Section E. We gathered in the empty hallway, the atmosphere turning serious.
"Listen up," I said, my voice low and commanding. "I'm taking a flight to London today. It's urgent family business, and I don't know how long I'll be gone."
The guys looked surprised, but I didn't give them time to ask questions. "I need you all to keep an eye on Jay and Mia. Don't let anyone get close to them with bad intentions. If anythingāand I mean anythingāunusual happens, I want to know immediately."
I pulled out my phone and quickly created a new encrypted group chat, adding every member of Section E except Jay. I named the group 'The Shield'.
"I've just added you all to a private group," I stated, my eyes scanning their faces with a deadly seriousness.
"This is for her protection. Every detail, every threat, every person who looks at her wrongāreport it here. I might be miles away, but I'm still watching."
"Don't worry, Keifer. We've got her back," Edrix said, nodding solemnly. I gave them one final look of trust before turning on my heel. I was leaving my heart behind, but at least I was leaving her with an army..
