Chapter 4 - Chapter 03: Neighbourhood of Nestland Airway

Nine years later, after an air-magician and air-magicianess, Mr Aank Aanfack and Mrs Aadda Aanfack, had brought the new AirSaviour and AirSaviouress, AarryAir OotterAir and AarrietAir OotterAir, to the Airsleys, and after also arrived several air-men and air-women and their air-boys and air-girls in the lives of the Airsleys, the Airsleys and these air-human arrivers had after lived together in the air-isle's tree neighbourhood. The air-isle and its tree neighbourhood had after been named Nestland Airway by the Airsleys and its new air-human air-inhabitants. The air-isle was a flying and gliding air-isle which had several pairs of white-and-green-and-brown wings and patagia protruding out of its sides, and these sides were covered in white-and-green-and-brown feathers and plumes. Its tree neighbourhood was a tall and thick tillandsia tree with big and strong branches and boughs which all entangled one with the other, and within the tree's grand canopy were eleven wooden, white-coloured nests, which stood either mobile or immobile within the canopy, and were either two or three storied nests which rested on the branches and boughs of the trees. The nests also mostly had pairs of wings and patagium on their sides and were covered with feathers and plumes, and also had double doors on their boughy roofs and on their branchy floors which served as double entries and exits from the nests, and small windows on their sides. The nests were all spersed, and they inhabited the eleven air-humans' air-families who were all akins to each other, and all lived as good neighbours, and the best neighbours were they to each other, as they were all also friends and family towards one another.

In the first nest, Nest Number Zero, in a simple nest, lived the Airsleys — Mr Airion Airsley and Mrs Arletta Airsley, who were parents to their twin children — a ten-year olds boy and girl called Airian and Airianna, who were all true humans and other human air-humans. Mr and Mrs Airsley also were warder and warderess ⸺ warder-dad and warderess-mum ⸺ to their ten-year olds boy and girl second twins, AarryAir and AarrietAir, who were their wards and wardesses ⸺ ward-son and wardess-daughter, and who were aired air-humans who lived with them. Mr and Mrs Airsley again were warder-dad and warderess-mum to their other ten-year olds boy and girl third twins, Airien and Airienne, who were their ward-son and wardess-daughter, and who were one human air-humans who lived with them. Mr and Mrs Airsley also were the AirSaviour AirWarder — air-warder of the AirSaviour, and AirSaviouress AirWarderess — air-warderess of the AirSaviouress to AarryAir and AarrietAir; while Airian and Airien and Airianna and Airienne also were AirSaviour AirWarderBrothers — air-warder-brothers of the AirSaviour, and AirSaviouress AirWarderessSisters — air-warderess-sisters of the AirSaviouress to AarryAir and AarrietAir, as they were also their warder-brothers and warderess-sisters.

The Airsleys' akins lived in the other nests.

In Nest Number One, in an air-shaped nest, lived the Airanies — Mr Airmanie Airanie and Mrs Airwomania Airanie, and their boy and girl twins Airboyie and Airgirlia, who were aired air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the original air-humans who were the aired Air-men, who were air-humans who aired air out of their skin pores and became transparent, and who had feathers and plumes, and wings and patagia, and who flew with the feathers and wings, and glided with the plumes and patagia. Their wings were two pairs — four wings — with a pair on each side of the upper back, and their patagia were two pairs — four patagia — with a pair each on the left and right side of the body which stretched from the shoulders to the hindlimbs. They comprised the air-men and air-women and air-boys and air-girls, who were all airers and aireresses and air-landers and air-landeresses and air-worlders and air-worlderesses, and airwizarders and airwizarderesses and airwizards and airwizardesses. They were the original air-humans from which derived all the other air-humans. Mr and Mrs Airanie were the heads of Nestland Airway.

In Nest Number Two, in a gas-shaped nest, lived the Gasanies — Mr Gasmanie Gasanie and Mrs Gaswomania Gasanie, and their boy and girl twins Gasboyie and Gasgirlia, who were gased air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the other air-humans who were the gased Gas-men, who were air-humans who aired or evaporated their selves and became invisible, and who had feathers and plumes, and wings and patagia, and who flew with the feathers and wings, and glided with the plumes and patagia. Their wings were two pairs — four wings — with a pair on each side of the upper back, and their patagia were two pairs — four patagia — with a pair each on the left and right side of the body which stretched from the shoulders to the hindlimbs. They comprised the gas-men and gas-women and gas-boys and gas-girls, who were all gasers and gaseresses and gas-landers and gas-landeresses and gas-worlders and gas-worlderesses, and gaswizarders and gaswizarderesses and gaswizards and gaswizardesses. Mr and Mrs Gasanie were adjuncts to Mr and Mrs Airanie.

In Nest Number Three, in a feather-shaped nest, lived the Featheranies — Mr Feathermanie Featheranie and Mrs Featherwomania Featheranie, and their boy and girl twins Featherboyie and Feathergirlia, who were feathered air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the other air-humans who were the feathered Feather-men, who were air-humans with feather-covered bodies, and their feathers were short and little, and they flew with the feathers. They comprised the feather-men and feather-women and feather-boys and feather-girls, who were all featherers and feathereresses and feather-landers and feather-landeresses and feather-worlders and feather-worlderesses, and featherwizarders and featherwizarderesses and featherwizards and featherwizardesses.

In Nest Number Four, in a plume-shaped nest, lived the Plumeanies — Mr Plumemanie Plumeanie and Mrs Plumewomania Plumeanie, and their boy and girl twins Plumeboyie and Plumegirlia, who were plumed air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the other air-humans who were the plumed Plume-men, who were air-humans with plume-covered bodies, and their plumes were showy, long, and large; and they glided with the plumes. They comprised the plume-men and plume-women and plume-boys and plume-girls, who were all plumeers and plumeeresses and plume-landers and plume-landeresses and plume-worlders and plume-worlderesses, and plumewizarders and plumewizarderesses and plumewizards and plumewizardesses.

In Nest Number Five, in a wing-pair-shaped nest, lived the Winganies — Mr Wingmanie Winganie and Mrs Wingwomania Winganie, and their boy and girl twins Wingboyie and Winggirlia, who were winged air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the other air-humans who were the winged Wing-men, who were air-humans with wings which were two pairs of two wings with one above and the other below the back, and they flew with the wings. They comprised the wing-men and wing-women and wing-boys and wing-girls, who were all wingers and wingeresses and wing-landers and wing-landeresses and wing-worlders and wing-worlderesses, and wingwizarders and wingwizarderesses and wingwizards and wingwizardesses.

In Nest Number Six, in a patagium-pair-shaped nest, lived the Patagiumanies — Mr Patagiummanie Patagiumanie and Mrs Patagiumwomania Patagiumanie, and their boy and girl twins Patagiumboyie and Patagiumgirlia, who were patagiumed air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the other air-humans who were the patagiumed Patagium-men, who were air-humans with patagia which were two pairs of two patagia with one on the left and the other on right side of the body which stretched from the neck to the hindlimbs, and they glided with the patagia. They comprised the patagium-men and patagium-women and patagium-boys and patagium-girls, who were all patagiumers and patagiumeresses and patagium-landers and patagium-landeresses and patagium-worlders and patagium-worlderesses, and patagiumwizarders and patagiumwizarderesses and patagiumwizards and patagiumwizardesses.

In Nest Number Seven, in a one-wing-shaped nest, lived the Flyanies — Mr Flymanie Flyanie and Mrs Flywomania Flyanie, and their boy and girl twins Flyboyie and Flygirlia, who were flyed air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the other air-humans who were the flyed Fly-men, who were air-humans with neither feathers and plumes, nor wings and patagia, who flew by thrusting their bodies in the air. They comprised the fly-men and fly-women and fly-boys and fly-girls, who were all flyers and flyeresses and fly-landers and fly-landeresses and fly-worlders and fly-worlderesses, and flywizarders and flywizarderesses and flywizards and flywizardesses.

In Nest Number Eight, in a one-patagium-shaped nest, lived the Glideanies — Mr Glidemanie Glideanie and Mrs Glidewomania Glideanie, and their boy and girl twins Glideboyie and Glidegirlia, who were glided air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the other air-humans who were the glided Glide-men, who were air-humans with neither feathers and plumes, nor wings and patagia, who glided by letting the air carry them away. They comprised the glide-men and glide-women and glide-boys and glide-girls, who were all glideers and glideeresses and glide-landers and glide-landeresses and glide-worlders and glide-worlderesses, and glidewizarders and glidewizarderesses and glidewizards and glidewizardesses.

In Nest Number Nine, in one simple air-human nest, lived the Onehumanairanies — Mr Onehumanairmanie Onehumanairanie and Mrs Onehumanairwomania Onehumanairanie, and their boy and girl twins Onehumanairboyie and Onehumanairgirlia, who were human air-humans of the air-being and air-breed of the one human air-humans, who were air-humans who were alike to the true humans and unalike to the air-humans, as they were flyless and glideless air-humans who could not naturally fly or glide as the air-humans, and who had no feathers, no plumes, no wings, and no patagia; but artificially flew and glided with air-artificial air-human-made air-magic air-flyers and air-gliders which were flying featherostomies and gliding plumostomies implanted on their bodies, and also flying wingostomies and gliding patagiumostomies implanted on their backs and sides respectively. They comprised the human air-men and human air-women and human air-boys and human air-girls, who were all human airers and human aireresses and human air-landers and human air-landeresses and human air-worlders and human air-worlderesses, and human airwizarders and human airwizarderesses and human airwizards and human airwizardesses, and they were altogether considered the one human air-humans.

In Nest Number Ten, in another simple human nest, lived the Otherhumanairanies — Mr Otherhumanairmanie Otherhumanairanie and Mrs Otherhumanairwomania Otherhumanairanie, and their boy and girl twins Otherhumanairboyie and Otherhumanairgirlia, who were true humans and Amilékés as the Airsleys, and of the air-being and air-breed of the other human air-humans, who were the true humans who were of the true human land and world of Earth, as they were not of the air and its air-land and air-world of Airia and AirLandia and AirWorldia and its air-wizardering and air-wizarding air-land and air-world of AirWizarderia and AirWizardia, nor were they naturally airers and aireresses and air-landers and air-landeresses and air-worlders and air-worlderesses, nor were they naturally air-wizarders and air-wizarderesses and air-wizards and air-wizardesses, and neither were they natural practitioners of airal and air-magical air-wizardercraft and air-wizardcraft and air-wizardery and air-wizardry. They were but simply aware of and acquainted to the air-humans, and had adopted and adapted to their air-human nature and air-humanity, and were thus likened to the human air-humans by these air-humans because they had adopted and adapted to their air-humankind. They were also likened to the human air-humans by the air-humans because they were flyless and glideless like the human air-humans, and could not naturally fly or glide as them, and had no feathers, no plumes, no wings, and no patagia as them; but artificially flew and glided with air-artificial air-human-made air-magic air-flyers and air-gliders as them which were the distinct flying feather-wears and gliding plume-wears which they wore on their bodies, and also the flying wing-wears and gliding patagium-wears which they wore on their backs and sides respectively. They were also called and considered by the air-humans as the human air-men and human air-women and human air-boys and human air-girls, and called and considered as human airers and human aireresses and human air-landers and human air-landeresses and human air-worlders and human air-worlderesses, and human airwizarders and human airwizarderesses and human airwizards and human airwizardesses, and they were altogether considered the other human air-humans.

The Airsleys and their akins thus represented the ten air-beings and air-breeds of air-humans composed of the original air-humans, the other air-humans, and the human air-humans. The original air-humans and other air-humans comprised the air-men and air-women and air-boys and air-girls, while the human air-humans comprised the human air-men and human air-women and human air-boys and human air-girls, and they were all airers and aireresses and air-landers and air-landeresses and air-worlders and air-worlderesses, and air-wizarders and air-wizarderesses and air-wizards and air-wizardesses.

The Airsleys and their akins also were melanodermic humans, and to the humans in the Aamsang hamlet and the Aaleveng village, were Amiléké people who adhered to different non-Christian beliefs ⸺ as the Airsleys were known to be animists who adhered and were adherents to animism, while the Airanies, the Gasanies, the Featheranies, the Plumeanies, the Winganies, the Patagiumanies, the Flyanies, and the Glideanies were known as apatheists who adhered and were adherents to apatheism; and the Onehumanairanies were known to be agnostics who adhered and were adherents to agnosticism, while the Otherhumanairanies were known as atheists who adhered and were adherents to atheism. They thus respectively assembled and practiced their respective animism, apatheism, agnosticism, and atheism at their respective assemblies, and in their respective assemblyhalls, and with their respective assemblymembers in the Aamsang hamlet who were secretly air-humans as they of the Aamsang air-hamlet. They chose the resting day of Sunday as the day to engage in their respective animist-beliefs and animist-practices, and apatheist-beliefs and apatheist-practices, and agnostic-beliefs and agnostic-practices, and atheist-beliefs and atheist-practices ⸺ so as to do similar as Christians who worshiped on Sundays. It had been upon their arrival on Earth and in the Aamsang hamlet that they had chosen to portray themselves as Amilékés ⸺ though the Airsleys and Otherhumanairanies were autochthonous Amilékés, and adopted these respective beliefs of theirs.

The Airsleys and their akins as melanodermic air-humans, were known only to the few fellow air-humans as them in the Aamsang air-hamlet as akins to the Air and allied to the Air, and Air-believing as they adored and worshipped the Air as the Air and the Air as an Entity ⸺ the AirEntity, and also Air-magic-practicing as they practiced the air and air-magic associated to the Air. They and their fellow air-believers and air-magic-practicers also knew that in the air-hamlet they were antagonized by the majority anti-air-believers and anti-air-magic-practicers, and so they secretted their air-beliefs and air-magic-practices, and also weaved wards ⸺ air-wards ⸺ all over their houses, homes, neighbourhoods, and institutions, to contain and conceal their air-magic and air-practices, and also to repel any anti-air-magic and anti-air-practices. The Airsleys and their akins weaved air-wards all over Nestland Airway which were a nacreous, swaying, shifting, and liquid-looking luminescence which encircled the neighbourhood.

The Airsleys and their akins checked these air-wards every Sunday to assure themselves that they stayed strong, and always checked them on the Sundays because these were the days in which air-wizarders and air-wizarderesses and air-wizards and air-wizardesses engaged in intense air and air-magic and air-wizardercraft and air-wizardcraft and air-wizardery and air-wizardry; and they all as air-believers and air-magic-practicers engaged in adorations and worships of the Air, and also engaged in air and air-magic associated to the Air. Thus the air-wards over their neighbourhood had to be strong to conceal their air-magic and air-practices, and also to repel any anti-air-magic and anti-air-practices in these Sundays of intense air-magic.

On the first Sunday after they had weaved their air-wards ⸺ and which day also marked the first week since the arrival of AarryAir and AarrietAir and the akins, after the Airsleys and the akins had assured themselves of the strength of the air-wards, Mr and Mrs Airsley at around midnight, woke and got up from their bed as a sudden sound resonated throughout the neighbourhood. The sound was the alarm that told them that the air-wards were attacked ⸺ the first attack upon the air-wards thus. They took their air-wands and air-woots with them and got out of their room to see all the children getting out of theirs too as they too were woken up by the alarm. They told the children to wait in the nest while they went out to investigate, and they soared out of the nest to see their akins also emerging out of their nests holding wands and woots too; and as they all saw each other, they all nodded in acknowledgement of the alarm, which was the first time ever it sounded. They then all soared up, and through the branches and boughs of their tree's canopy, and out of the canopy's large leaves-covered hole, and below the air-wards over their neighbourhood where they saw above several handless air-wands and footless air-woots shooting spells' sparks at the air-wards. They stopped, and stared at the onslaught of spells' sparks upon the spheral air-wards whose surface stayed strong, and the Airsleys and their akins stared at each other, smiling at the strength of the air-wards. They then stared at the shooting wands and woots which worked on their own as they shot the air-spells, as air-humans as the Airsleys, the Onehumanairanies, and the Otherhumanairanies saw them. But the more air-magical air-humans as the Airanies and the Gasanies saw that the wands and woots were held by aired air-humans who were in their transparency, and others as the Featheranies, the Plumeanies, the Winganies, the Patagiumanies, the Flyanies, and the Glideanies who could adopt advanced air-sight or air-magically amplified their sight saw these transparent aired air-humans. They all however knew that their air-wards were invisible to these air-shooters, as the air-wards were only visible to them the air-inhabitants of the neighbourhood, and thus they could not see the strategic sections of the air-wards to shoot at and destroy them. The Airsleys and the others then imitating the Airanies, held up their wands and woots, and pointed them at the air-wards, as they stood ready to render the air-wards self-defensive.
