The next morning, before the Sun rose.
Alexander was already awake.
Not because he had to be—
But because he was excited.
Very excited.
Sitting on his bed, he stared at the newest addition to his belongings resting on the floor in front of him.
A sleek, dark leather briefcase.
At first glance, it looked ordinary.
But Alexander knew better.
"Finally…" he muttered.
He knelt beside it and flipped the locks open.
The inside space expanded endlessly like a miniature world.
Alexander stepped into the briefcase.
His personal cabin.
Shelves.
A Potion station.
Spell books.
Training equipment.
Even spare robes.
All his school supplies.
Everything he owned fit neatly inside.
Stepping outside the cabin.
Artificial sun in the sky, clouds, forest, mountain, plains, lakes, and ponds.
Everything he needed to raise magical creatures.
Mr. Schmander had kept his promise.
The magical briefcase had arrived late last night by special courier owl.
But storage wasn't even the best part.
With a wand flick—
The briefcase unfolded into a reinforced shield.
Runes glowed faintly across its surface.
He grinned.
"A portable defense item…"
Mr. Schmander had clearly heard about Alexander's duel with the Death Eater.
The enchantments were layered:
Anti-jinx reinforcement
Stunning spell dispersion
Minor curse deflection
Physical impact absorption
It could block most standard spells.
Only the strongest, most lethal magic—
Like Avada Kedavra—
Could bypass it.
But Alexander wasn't planning on standing still against that spell.
Dodging the spell is the only known counter.
"This is perfect."
Storage.
Defense.
Utility.
All in one.
He stepped out of his briefcase.
One snap of the locks—
Packed.
Ready.
Outside—
Both families had gathered.
The Chen car.
The Weasley vehicle.
Luggage loaded.
Kids chatting.
Parents talking.
It was a joint send-off.
They drove together to King's Cross Station.
Platform 9 3/4.
Ron looked pale as they approached the barrier.
"You just… run at it?"
Fred nodded.
"Full speed."
George added—
"Head first if possible."
Ron looked like he might faint.
He has been through the wall before, but it was always with his parents.
Now he is doing it by himself.
He felt nervous for some reason.
Arthur chuckled.
"You'll be fine, son."
One by one—
They passed through the wall.
Alexander walked through casually.
On the other side—
Steam billowed.
Owls hooted.
Students reunited.
And standing not far away—
The Chang family.
Alexander didn't hesitate.
He abandoned everyone mid-conversation and ran straight toward Cho.
He wrapped her in a big hug the moment he reached her.
Cho laughed softly, hugging him back.
Behind them—
Fred gasped dramatically.
"Betrayed by love!"
George clutched his chest.
"How could he abandon us so easily?"
"After everything we've been through!" Fred added.
Everyone nearby laughed—including the parents.
The Chen and Weasley families greeted the Chang family.
Students began boarding.
Alexander and Cho found a private compartment quickly.
The twins had already disappeared—
Dragging Ron off to "introduce him properly to Hogwarts society."
Which likely meant pranks.
Before the train departed—
Alexander and Cho leaned out the window.
Talking to their parents below.
Eleanor looked up warmly.
"Write often."
Cho's parents echoed the same.
Then Eleanor narrowed her eyes slightly at Alexander.
"Alex dear… don't cause trouble this year. You promised."
Alexander smiled innocently.
"Mom, it's not my fault."
"I only like to educate people… and things."
Cho covered her mouth, laughing.
Eleanor shook her head, amused.
She pointed at the briefcase.
"And be careful with that. Don't use it to break rules."
"Don't worry," Alexander said confidently.
"Things will be fine."
The whistle blew.
Steam roared.
The train began to move.
Parents waved.
Students leaned out windows, shouting goodbyes.
As the platform slowly slid away—
Alexander suddenly yelled back:
"Mom! Remember—the Sorting Hat is racist!"
Eleanor opened her mouth to respond—
But the train had already pulled too far.
Her words never reached him.
She could only shake her head—
Half amused.
Half exhausted.
"And the letters begin tonight…" she sighed.
Inside the compartment—
Alexander sat beside Cho.
Train rocking gently.
Journey beginning.
He glanced at his briefcase.
Then out the window.
Hogwarts awaited.
Second year.
New dangers.
New mysteries.
New chaos.
He smiled slightly.
"Round two."
