A few quiet days passed.
Just classes, training, and time spent with Cho.
One afternoon, word reached him that he had guests waiting.
Guests?
Alexander was excited. He already knew who arrived.
He grabbed Cho's hand and pulled her along.
When they reached the visitor area—
He didn't even try to act composed.
"Mom!"
Alexander ran and flew into her arms and hugged her tightly.
Mrs. Chen laughed softly, returning the embrace.
"You're getting too old to hug your mother like this."
"Maybe in a couple of years," he said, not letting go immediately.
Eventually, he stepped back.
Cho stepped forward politely.
"Hello, Mrs. Chen."
She was about to bow—
But Mrs. Chen pulled her into a warm hug instead.
Cho froze in surprise.
"My, my… you're getting prettier every time I see you, Cho."
Cho's face turned bright red.
"T-Thank you…"
She stepped back shyly.
Mrs. Chen then looked at Alexander and said.
"We really got lucky."
Alexander blinked.
"Lucky?"
She stepped aside slightly.
And that's when he noticed them.
Two small figures were standing behind her.
"House-elves!" Alexander said with excitement.
"We found four free elves total," Mrs. Chen explained. "Two males, two females. Two couples. We allowed the females to choose their companions."
She spoke more seriously now.
"Remember — they are free elves. Not slaves. We are entrusting two to you, just like you asked. Treat them with respect. Do not harm them."
Her tone softened.
"They're… damaged creatures. They need kindness."
Alexander nodded sincerely.
"I understand."
His eyes lit up as he looked at them properly now.
Mrs. Chen handed him a pouch.
"Clothes, bedding, daily necessities. Everything they might need. They wanted new names; you can give them one."
She hugged him one more time.
"I'll introduce the other two during Christmas break. I still have work to do."
Cho and Alexander waved as she left.
The moment she was gone—
Alexander grabbed Cho's hand again.
"Come on."
He dragged her toward Ravenclaw Tower.
The two house-elves hurried after them.
Luckily, the next period was free.
No classes.
No interruptions.
Inside his dorm—
Cho froze near the door.
She had never been inside a boys' room before.
It looked… normal.
Books everywhere.
Some dirt on the ground, but for the most part, it was clean.
And yes — it smelled like boys lived here.
She looked away awkwardly.
Alexander didn't notice.
He was already opening the briefcase on his bed.
"Come here."
Before she could ask—
He grabbed Cho's hand and pulled her in.
The two house-elves followed.
They stepped into an entirely different world.
Cho was surprised as they were inside a cabin.
Inside was a potion station, shelves filled with books, and many other things.
Alexander already ran outside, and when she stepped out of the cabin, she was shocked.
Open sky ceiling.
Open meadow.
Trees.
Ponds and Lakes.
Cho's jaw dropped.
"This… is inside your briefcase?!"
The house-elves were equally stunned.
Alexander wasted no time.
He conjured materials and, within minutes, constructed a cozy house beside his own small cabin.
He turned to them.
"From now on, this is your home."
He pointed gently to the male.
"You'll be called Copper."
Then to the female:
"And you'll be Silver."
The two elves burst into tears immediately.
"THANK YOU, YOUNG MASTER!"
They bowed repeatedly.
Alexander brought them inside.
Cho started helping unpack the pouch from Mrs. Chen.
Inside were:
Extra clothing
Small beds
Blankets
Kitchen tools
Daily supplies
Silver and Copper cried harder.
"This is too much…"
"We don't need so many things…"
Alexander shook his head.
"No. This is what you deserve. Welcome to the family."
They cried even louder.
Cho laughed softly while continuing to help unpack.
Once they calmed down, Alexander gave them a full tour:
Chicken perimeter
Feed systems
Garden zones
Mandrake beds
Storage area
They listened attentively, excited to begin.
Afterward, he led them both, along with Cho, down to the Hogwarts kitchen.
The reaction was explosive.
Hogwarts house-elves rushed forward excitedly to greet the newcomers.
Instant friendships formed.
Questions.
Hugs.
Chatter.
The two maintenance elves already working for Alexander asked:
"May we continue helping them?"
Alexander thought:
Free labor… why not?
He nodded.
"If you want to help Silver and Copper, go ahead."
Cheers erupted.
After some time, Alexander and Cho ate dinner while Silver and Copper socialized.
Eventually, he escorted everyone back.
Cho left to finish homework.
Alexander returned with the two elves to the briefcase.
Inside, he spoke calmly.
"Three rules:
Do not be seen outside.
Maintain everything inside the briefcase.
Lastly, remember we are family now.
I'll teach you more magic over time."
Their eyes sparkled.
They already knew basic elf magic — but learning more excited them deeply.
Alexander then pulled out a wand.
Blackwood's wand.
He handed it to Silver.
"Take care of this."
She accepted it reverently.
"Copper — when I get another wand, you'll receive one too."
They both cheered.
With operations established:
Garden running
Chickens maintained
Basilisk zone prepared
Elf housing complete
Alexander finally lay down on the grass inside the briefcase.
Hands behind his head.
Looking up at the artificial sky.
"Busy day…"
Seeing his mom…
Elf integration…
Infrastructure set up…
And Cho…
He fell asleep quickly.
Too much excitement for one day.
