Chapter 133 - Beneath the Three Heads

He ran straight to his dormitory, shut the door behind him, and stepped inside his briefcase.

Silver and Copper appeared instantly.

"Orders, Young Master?"

Alexander spoke rapidly.

"Maintain everything, and if things start to shake. Do not panic and maintain everything. Remember, until I say so. No disturbances unless it's an emergency."

Both house-elves bowed.

"As you wish."

Alexander threw on his invisibility cloak mid-stride and exited the briefcase just as quickly as he'd entered.

He quickly picked up the briefcase and ran out of his room.

He moved silently through hidden corridors until he reached the forbidden third-floor hallway.

He checked every locked door.

He finally found the correct door, as he heard the sound of music playing.

Alexander raised his wand.

"Alohomora."

The lock clicked open softly.

He pushed the door slowly, carefully, and just enough to peek inside.

There it was.

The massive three-headed dog.

Fluffy.

All three heads were asleep… the enchanted harp still playing nearby.

Alexander slipped inside and quietly shut the door behind him, locking it again.

He removed his cloak.

And just… stared.

"Amazing…" he whispered.

He walked around the colossal beast, analyzing muscle structure, magical aura density, head coordination, and even gently petting one of the sleeping heads.

Fluffy huffed in its sleep but didn't wake.

Alexander's eyes gleamed with fascination.

A three-headed dog… and this big.

For a brief moment, he considered taking it.

It would be an incredible addition to his briefcase.

But he shook his head.

"No… stealing Hagrid's pet is too much."

Still, he couldn't help thinking:

Hagrid always gets the best creatures…

Eventually, Alexander reached beneath one massive paw and pulled open the trapdoor.

When he jumped down, he quickly cast two spells on the door.

One was a silence, and the other was to ensure it closed behind him.

Then he dropped.

He landed directly into writhing vines of Devil's Snare.

Any normal student would've panicked.

Alexander simply relaxed.

Knowing the plant's behavior, he slowed his breathing.

Letting the vines loosen until they released him entirely.

He landed on his feet and started to walk forward.

The next chamber contained flying keys and a broomstick.

Alexander looked up briefly.

He could've summoned the correct key instantly with Accio.

But instead, he walked straight to the far door.

"Alohomora."

The lock clicked open.

He stepped through calmly.

Then locked the door again.

He smirked to himself.

The trio really struggled here…

And they let Ron cast Alohomora instead of Hermione.

Spell precision matters.

He placed the invisibility cloak back on before entering the next chamber.

Then he stopped at the edge.

The life-sized wizard chessboard loomed ahead.

He had no intention of playing.

So he stepped to the side and waited.

Because he knew they were coming.

Not long after, footsteps echoed behind him.

Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger entered the chamber.

Alexander watched silently as they initiated the wizard chess trial.

He had to admit, he was impressed.

Ron's tactical command was exceptional for his age.

Piece coordination.

Sacrifice timing.

Endgame setup.

All sharp.

But Alexander tilted his head slightly.

Why doesn't he just jump off the knight before the move?

Moments later —

The White Queen smashed Ron's knight, sending Ron crashing unconscious to the floor.

Alexander let out a small, quiet laugh beneath the cloak.

It might've sounded cruel, but he knew Ron would survive.

Soon enough —

Harry made the final move.

"Checkmate."

The path forward opened.

Alexander gave a soft, polite clap from the shadows.

I should've brought a camera… or asked Peeves.

Too late now.

As Harry stepped forward alone.

Alexander rose from his position —

And silently followed him deeper toward the final chamber.
