Chapter 176 - A Gift for Ravenclaw Team

A few days later, the Great Hall was lively during breakfast.

Students chatted loudly while eating, owls flew in through the tall windows, and letters and packages dropped across the tables.

Alexander was calmly eating beside Cho when suddenly—

A group of owls swooped down toward him.

Thump.

Thump.

Thump.

Several long packages and a letter landed directly in front of him.

Cho blinked in surprise.

"That's… a lot of packages."

Alexander casually pulled out his wand.

"Wingardium Leviosa."

All the packages and the letter floated gently into the air.

Students nearby turned their heads, curious about what was happening.

Alexander stood up and looked around at the Ravenclaw table until he spotted the team captain, Adrian Smith.

Alexander walked over with the floating packages following behind him.

"Captain, can you clear a spot?"

Adrian and his friends were confused, but cleared an area on the table.

Alexander slowly lowered the packages onto the table.

"My donation to the team."

Alexander stretched slightly and added casually,

"Now, please don't bother me with Quidditch again unless you guys desperately need me."

Adrian looked stunned.

The entire Ravenclaw table went silent.

"Uh… okay…"

The captain opened the first package, and he froze.

His eyes widened.

"WHAT?!"

The entire table jumped.

Adrian quickly tore open the rest of the packages.

Inside were sleek racing brooms.

Seven brand-new Nimbus 2001 brooms.

The Ravenclaw table exploded into excitement.

"Are you serious?!"

"Those are Nimbus 2001s!"

"Seven of them?!"

Adrian turned toward Alexander in disbelief.

"Chen… are you really donating seven Nimbus 2001 brooms to the team?"

Alexander had already returned to his seat.

He opened the letter calmly and looked over at Adrian and said.

"Yes."

Then he started reading the letter.

Meanwhile, the Ravenclaw table had completely lost its composure.

Students crowded around the brooms, touching them carefully like priceless treasures.

"They're brand new!"

"We're going to destroy everyone this year!"

"Training is going to be amazing!"

"We might actually win the Cup again!"

They began talking excitedly about practice plans and strategies.

Alexander ignored the chaos and continued reading his letter.

Dear Our Hardworking Son,

We bought the seven brooms just like you asked.

Are you sure you don't want to play?

Spending all that money just to avoid playing seems kind of like a joke.

Anyway, it's not like we have to worry about money.

Your dad says to keep your grades up and continue working on your spells.

Honey, I just want you to eat properly, sleep properly, and stay healthy.

Also, Cho already told us about what you have been doing.

Do not overwork yourself like when you were six.

Magic is fascinating, but remember to take breaks and relax.

We do not want to receive a letter saying you were sent to the hospital for overusing magic again.

Love,

Your Wealthy Dad and Caring Mom

Alexander laughed quietly.

Then he handed the letter to Cho.

She read it and immediately groaned.

"I didn't think your mom would call me out like that."

Alexander chuckled.

"Don't worry. It's fine."

"It's actually better that you write to them."

Cho raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, really?"

Alexander shrugged.

"I usually only write when I want something."

Cho shook her head and smiled.

After she finished reading the letter, she asked.

"What happened when you were six?"

Alexander took a sip of his tea.

"At 6, I got really excited when I realized I could use magic."

"I kept forcing myself to levitate things over and over."

Cho slowly realized where the story was going.

Alexander continued casually.

"Eventually, I passed out from magical exhaustion."

"My parents rushed me to the hospital, and the healers lectured me about overusing magic."

Cho burst out laughing.

"So even as a child, you were causing trouble."

Alexander shrugged.

"Pretty much."

He finished his food and stood up.

Stretched, then he looked at Cho seriously for a moment.

"Make sure those brooms are used for the team."

"Not for personal use."

Cho nodded.

"I will."

Alexander leaned down and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

He walked away before the Ravenclaw table could start thanking him again.

Cho's face turned slightly red.

But she quickly joined the rest of the team.

They were already gathered around the brooms, excitedly discussing Quidditch strategies and future matches.
