Chapter 178 - The Message on the Wall

The night before, October Alexander snuck outside into the forbidden forest and released the fairies.

He watched them fly around, amazed by their new environment.

"Tinkerbell, take good care of them. Do you need me to come help you find the other fairies?"

"No, we will be fine Alex," She replied.

"Just make sure to come visit me once a month and tell me about your new friends."

"I know, stop nagging me. Bye Alex, See you around!"

"Have fun!" Alexander laughed and waved them goodbye.

After seeing Tinkerbell and her children fly into the woods. Alexander quickly ran back into the castle.

The old classroom that had been used as the twins' Halloween preparation room was finally empty of most supplies.

Boxes had been moved, decorations enchanted, and illusion anchors prepared.

Alexander was making sure nothing suspicious remained behind.

While inspecting the classroom, he paused.

Something moved along the floor.

Tiny Black Spiders.

Several of them crawled quickly across the stone floor, heading toward the doorway.

Alexander rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't imagining things.

He looked again, and there were more spiders.

All are moving in the same direction.

He stared at them, thinking.

"…Is it today?" he murmured, "It could be around this time."

Alexander did a quick scan and followed the spiders.

"Let's go find the trio."

He walked through several corridors until he spotted three familiar figures standing near a corridor wall.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

The three of them were staring at the wall in confusion.

Alexander walked up beside them.

He read the message written across the stone.

"The Chamber of Secrets has been opened.

Enemies of the Heir… beware."

Alexander stared at it for a moment and nodded slightly.

"…Interesting."

Hermione snapped out of it and quickly turned toward Alexander.

"Oh, hello Alex," she said. "We just got here, and we don't understand what's going on."

Alexander nodded calmly.

"Me either."

He glanced back at the message.

"I don't understand yet… but this is very interesting."

While Alexander and Hermione were talking, Harry slowly stepped forward toward something near the wall.

He looked up and was stunned. He slowly turned around.

"Hey, look," Harry said.

"It's Filch's cat."

He pointed.

"Mrs. Norris."

Alexander followed his gaze.

There she was, Mrs. Norris.

The poor cat hung stiffly upside down from a torch bracket.

Before Alexander could say anything, footsteps echoed loudly down the corridor.

A large crowd of students quickly gathered around them, whispering and staring at the wall and the hanging cat.

The atmosphere grew tense.

Someone pushed forward from the crowd.

A familiar blond boy with a smug expression.

Draco Malfoy.

He looked from the cat to the message and then sneered.

"Well, well," Draco said loudly.

"Enemies of the Heir… looks like the Mudbloods should start worrying."

The word echoed through the hallway.

Hermione froze.

Several students gasped.

Alexander's expression instantly changed.

Slowly, he drew his wand.

"Mr. Malfoy," Alexander said calmly.

"Are you being racist right now?"

Draco's confidence vanished immediately.

"I—It… it… it…" he stuttered.

"It's not racist!"

Alexander stepped forward slightly.

His voice remained calm.

"Mr. Malfoy, I believe you saw how I educated the Racist Hat."

Several students in the crowd visibly flinched.

The memory was still fresh.

Just a month ago, they had witnessed Alexander brutally beating and humiliating the Sorting Hat in front of everyone.

Alexander's wand lifted slightly.

"So if I hear that word one more time," he continued quietly, "I would also love to educate you."

Draco's face went completely white.

He stumbled backward.

"I—I didn't mean—"

Then he turned and ran.

His small group of Slytherins rushed after him.

Alexander then turned slowly to the crowd of students.

His voice became cold.

"If I hear anyone say that word again…"

He raised his wand slightly.

"I will properly educate you until you choose to go home and never return to Hogwarts."

Silence filled the corridor.

Students nervously nodded.

No one dared argue.

Alexander finally lowered his wand.

Just as he was about to speak—

A furious voice shouted from the end of the hall.

"MOVE!"

Students quickly parted as Filch rushed forward.

"Everyone move away!"

He pushed through the crowd and then suddenly froze.

His eyes locked onto the hanging cat.

"…Mrs. Norris…"

His voice trembled.

He ran forward and grabbed the cat carefully.

Then he turned around with a furious roar.

"WHO KILLED HER?!"

His eyes landed on Harry.

"Was it YOU, Potter?!"

"TELL ME!"

He grabbed Harry by the collar.

Before things could escalate, Alexander's wand appeared again.

"Calm down," Alexander said firmly.

"Or I will have to force you to calm down, Mr. Filch."

Filch hesitated.

For a moment, he looked like he might continue.

Then he slowly released Harry.

At that moment, several professors arrived.

Leading them was Dumbledore, along with McGonagall and Snape.

Dumbledore stepped forward and examined the wall.

His expression became serious.

He read the message slowly.

Then looked at Mrs. Norris.

Finally, he turned to the students.

"Everyone return to your dormitories immediately," he said calmly.

"Prefects, lead the students."

The crowd quickly began to disperse.

Then Dumbledore looked toward the remaining group.

"Except you four," he said.

The four who remained were:

Alexander.

Harry.

Ron.

And Hermione.

The corridor slowly emptied.

Leaving the mystery of the message… and the Chamber of Secrets…
