As Alexander walked away from the Hospital Wing, the professors remained behind, discussing the situation in low voices.
"This message about the Chamber…" McGonagall said quietly. "What should we do about it?"
Snape crossed his arms.
"Do we believe it has truly been opened?"
Flitwick looked uneasy.
"And what about the attacker? Do we suspect Mr. Potter?"
Another voice added thoughtfully.
"Or perhaps… Mr. Chen?"
The professors continued discussing.
"How do we protect the students?"
"What if another attack happens?"
Dumbledore listened to everyone calmly before finally speaking.
"For now," he said gently, "everything will continue as normal."
The professors looked surprised.
"Classes will resume as usual."
Dumbledore folded his hands behind his back.
"I will investigate the matter personally."
With that, the discussion ended.
One by one, the professors dispersed into the quiet corridors of Hogwarts.
Meanwhile, Alexander returned directly to his dormitory.
Tonight, he had no intention of practicing spells.
When he entered the room, his roommates were already asleep.
Alexander raised his wand.
Creating a silent field around his bed.
He spoke softly.
"Silver."
A small pop echoed.
The house-elf Silver appeared instantly.
"Yes, Young Master!"
She looked excited as always.
Alexander crouched slightly to speak to her.
"Silver, I have a very important job for you."
Silver's eyes lit up.
"Anything for Young Master!"
Alexander nodded.
"It will be very boring."
"But only you and Copper can do it."
Silver stood proudly.
"We will do our best!"
Alexander continued.
"Do you remember my black diary?"
Silver nodded immediately.
"Yes, Young Master."
"Lately, you have been carrying it everywhere."
Alexander sighed slightly.
"Well… it is missing."
Silver's ears twitched.
"I will search the castle for it!"
Alexander quickly shook his head.
"No."
"I don't want you to search."
Silver blinked in confusion.
"Then… what should Silver do?"
Alexander pointed toward his desk.
"I want you to stay hidden and watch my desk."
Silver tilted her head.
"It will come back somehow."
Her eyes widened.
Alexander spoke very seriously.
"No matter what happens…"
"Do not interfere."
"Do not move."
"Do not reveal yourself."
"Just observe."
"Everything you see… tell me tomorrow morning."
Silver still looked confused, but she nodded firmly.
"Yes, Young Master!"
Alexander gently patted her head.
Immediately, Silver's eyes filled with tears.
She sniffed happily.
Alexander laughed softly.
"Well… at least you've improved."
"You used to cry for a long time when I pat your head."
Silver wiped the tears happily.
"This time it is only one tear!"
Alexander chuckled.
"Good."
He dismissed her, and Silver vanished silently.
Alexander placed his briefcase down, took a quick shower, and soon went to bed.
The next morning, Alexander woke up early.
When he opened his eyes, he immediately saw Silver waiting quietly beside his bed.
She looked like she had something urgent to say.
"Young Master—"
Alexander raised a hand.
"Wait... We will talk in a bit."
Silver nodded and vanished again.
Alexander calmly got up and went to freshen up.
After using the bathroom, he returned to pack his school materials.
As he approached his desk, his eyes immediately noticed something.
The diary.
It was back.
Placed exactly where it was before.
Alexander's expression didn't change.
His mind instantly cleared.
So it really did come back.
He did not touch it.
Instead, he grabbed his book bag and briefcase and quietly left the dormitory.
Inside the Great Hall, students were already eating breakfast.
Alexander sat beside Cho.
"Hey, I'm only here to grab something to eat."
"I have something important to do."
Cho looked at him suspiciously.
"Does it have something to do with what happened last night?"
Alexander grinned.
"Everyone should be jealous."
"My girlfriend is so smart."
Cho snorted.
"Flattery won't work on me."
Alexander quickly grabbed a few things to eat.
Then he leaned over and kissed Cho on the lips.
Before she could react, he stood up.
"I'll see you later."
And he walked quickly out of the Great Hall.
Several professors noticed him leaving quickly, but none of them stopped him.
Alexander soon found an empty classroom.
He closed the door.
"Silver."
Pop.
Silver appeared instantly.
"Young Master!"
She looked shaken.
"I was so scared last night!"
Alexander gently patted her head.
"It's alright."
"Everything will be fine."
Silver slowly calmed down.
Alexander smiled slightly.
"Are you calm now?"
She nodded.
"Yes, Young Master."
Alexander's expression became serious.
"Good."
"Now… Tell me everything."
