To me, I thought it was too late, but no, nemesis had others plan for me, the arrows were just few inches away from my so called stepmother when my alpha father, still with the agility of an alpha , flick the arrow with the agility of an Alpha back,
the arrows fly toward me at a great astonishing speed, I dodge one of them, but it was too late, while I was trying to dodge the second one, oblivious to me, one of the arrow was flying toward me at a great speed, only with the agility of a wolf can one dodge this, I stood still, bow in hand and watch in surprise as I fall into my own pit, well, they say that you reap what you sow, well, I reap poisoned arrows and I guess I'm sowing it.
I caught a glimpse of my step mother before shutting my eyes and anticipating pain, she smile with her mouth wide open, I shut my eyes and for a second wish that maybe my father will feel a bit of pity for me, his wolf less daughter , and save me this once,
but no,
I felt it, a very sharp pain in my stomach, I open my eyes and look down in pain at the arrow in my stomach, I reach in to my waist line and drew out a dagger , tug at the arrow and cut it off, but well, it was still lodge in my stomach, the poisoned hedge was.
I turn around in a bid to leave.
My father let out a loud powerful growl, it shock the room like a volcano's, everyone in the room except me and him bare their neck at his growl , well, I do wonder why that never affected me…
And just you know, I don't have the heart to think about that right now. and what followed with it was a laugh, a high pitch laugh that equally shooked the room like his growl.
Lucian was laughing, he laughed at me as I stop in my track and turn to look at him.
" well, in as much as I know that an upcoming Luna should be really powerful, brave and daring, but yours really surprise me "
And at each words, he took slow, steady steps toward me while I stood rooted to the spot as if transfix.
" you had the guts to disobey an Alphas order and still had the guts to shoot my chosen mate right in my chamber, have you no fear??"
His voice rang out with a terrifying growl while I stare eyes ball to eyes ball at him, while you can call it daggers , I stare daggers at him, and I felt it, something was bubbling inside me, like, it wanted to be let out, energy , so strong I can't describe it,
I didn't know where the energy in me emanated from, but It help me find my voice again, and what came out of it , I didn't think about it before saying it. But I let it out.

Maybe, passing the pain unto them verbally, also, giving them sleepless night better suit them. I can't sleep in pain while they wallow in sweet sleep tonight.

" you heard me, when did you ever crown her Luna?, we all address her as Luna out of respect and not because she was crowned.

Without even seeing when he approach me,
I felt strong hands around my neck, and that was when I realised , those hands belong to Lucian, my Father.
He was glaring daggers at me, his eyes were bloodshot, and I felt the blood drain from my face, I Began to gasps for breath at how strong his hands felt at my neck, I think if he continue like this, I won't be able to hold on much longer.
And then I heard his voice, it sounded distant even though he was close to me.

I spout back through jagged breath.

My father voice rang out.

Gianna shouted in tears while my father turn to look at her.
" I'm doing this for your sake, she almost hurt you, I can't let her go Scot free, she have to face the punishment"
The guards rushed in as if on bay.

" I keep to my words , she have to get punished, so please, stay out of this"
I smiled, he still brushed her away, not that I care, but it seem funny, I flashed a smile , a knowing smile at my step mother.
" take this upcoming whore out of my chamber and lock her up in the dark cell with fifty lashes of a rod"
