Chapter 15 - live together

Late one evening, the two fathers found themselves in the study, the soft glow of the lamps painting the walls in warm hues.

Kaizer leaned back in his chair, swirling the tea in his cup thoughtfully.

"You know," he began, voice calm but deliberate, "I've been thinking about Jay."

Jasfer looked up, curious.

"Thinking about her?"

Kaizer nodded slowly.

"She's finally… smiling. Laughing even. But she still lives alone in that big house. I can see it bothers you."

Jasfer's hand tightened slightly around his cup.

"It does. She's grown up strong, yes… but a little lonely sometimes. I see it."

Kaizer leaned forward.

"Why not… bring her here? To the Watson mansion. Let her live with us. With all of us."

Jasfer blinked, startled.

"You mean… stay here? With you all?"

"Yes," Kaizer said, the tone softening.

"Serina already adores her. She calls her 'Jay'. You'd finally have her close, protected… and happy. You want to give her that, don't you?"

Jasfer looked down, a small, proud smile appearing despite the thought of losing some of her independence.

"She deserves it," he murmured. "And… it's time she had a family around her. A real one. Not just me."

Kaizer smiled, satisfied.

"Exactly. She's already part of this household, whether she knows it or not. Let's make it official. Let her live with us. All of us. A happy family… together."

Jasfer nodded slowly, the decision settling like warm sunlight over his heart.

"She'll be safe. She'll be loved. And… maybe she'll finally let herself be happy fully."

Kaizer raised his teacup.

"To Jay. To family. To happiness."

Jasfer lifted his as well, a quiet laugh escaping him.

"To Jay. And to finally giving her what she deserves."

And in that moment, both fathers silently agreed—they would create a home where Jay could smile without fear, where she could laugh without limits… and where the walls of the mansion would echo not with pressure or business, but with warmth, love, and family.
