"Beep, beep, Owner wake....." Albur slammed his alarm clock. He woke up very early today.
Albur is less grumpier than normal. He still hates the job but he is now more energized, maybe its because he finished all the job he have not be able to complete and he had enough rest. He finished his routine very quickly and even bought some breakfast.
"Woah, Albur, you look different today, you look more energetic and, less grumpy." said Mysty.
"What, I usually look grumpy?" asked Albur.
"You do, I can't help but notice that music helped out so much." said Mysty.
"Not just that, I can be lazy for a while when working on the news scripts, you know, balanced resting and working can increase efficiency. " said Albur.
"Make sense, but won't you face consequences? Like your boss maybe know what are you doing, soooo, won't you get punished?" asked Mysty.
"I don't care, as long as I finished the job, he will be wordless." said Albur.
"By the way, Albur, Lewis said that yesterday there was another threat, is that your boss ?" asked Mysty.
"Huh? Wasn't he already blocked from hacking ? I don't know. " said Albur.
"That threat is trying to breach through the system, I currently held it in place, I will try killing it. " said Lewis .
"Ok then, I gotta go work now, see ya later." Albur took his bag and changed into his work suit and left.
"Good morning sir, you look different today." said Albur's car system.
"Oh hey, nothing, just I felt so relaxed today, I finished all of the work, I finally got enough sleep, and my boss will never ever be able to bug me anymore! " said Albur.
"Nice to see you so energised, next stop Chumps TV station right? " asked his car system.
"Yep, let's go." Albur hopped onto his car. It floated and headed to the highways.
"Wanna hear some histories again ? " asked his car system.
"Nah, no, those are too boring." said Albur.
'Caution, an asteroid heading to our planet. Caution, an asteroid heading to our planet." The speaker of the city alerted out of a sudden. Albur stuck out his head out of the car window. A huge asteroid sized like Mars headed to the earth.
"Which asteroid is this now ? The one our ancestors said that will destroy the earth?" asked Albur.
"Yes it is." Said Albur's car system.
"Boring, bruh." Albur sat back into his seat.
That asteroid hit the barrier of the earth and then was blasted by a laser beam. Suddenly, Albur's watch started vibrating. He looked at it, someone is calling him. Albur clicked 'accept call.'
" This is Albur speaking, who is that ? " asked Albur.
"Al, its me, Ma" a familiar voice to Albur called him.
" M... momma ? " asked Albur.
"Yeah, why? You can't know who is calling to you ? " asked Albur's mom.
"No, of course I know, I am just, a bit to bored being called." Albur looked at his watch, this is the most outdated and cheapest version of a smart watch. "By the way, mom, how you doing now?"
"Pretty good, the long live capsule you gave me is so effective, I can even run for very long now, its always my dream to win Olympics, and I did yesterday. " said Albur's mom.
"Thats... good to know." Albur sniffed.
"What's wrong? Didn't you say that you have a brilliant job that pays you thousands?" The boss is not nice to you? " asked Albur's mom.
"No, mom, I was just, its been so long since you called me....." Said Albur.
"Sorry sweetie, I sometimes forget to call you, even though I really miss you." Said Albur's mom.
"It's ok mom, by the way, how is Pa now ?" Asked Albur.
"Your daddy is doing great now, since last time he ate that long live capsule, he is now able to get back to work in construction sites." said Albur's mom.
"Tell him don't, his body is not that good since the last time he fell." said Albur.
"I told him so, but he still wants to get back to work, he says that he had a feeling you are not going well so he want to get some money and give it to you, but now he is fine, he can lift things up like a gym rat. " said Albur's mom.
"Oh ok, just tell him I'm fine, I'm doing great, just rest at home. " said Albur.
"He still says no, your dad is like that. Ok then, I don't bother you work, bye honey." Said Albur's mom.
"Alright, bye mom." Albur hung up the call.
"You should've tell her you're not fine, you even have to share the house with someone." said Albur's car system.
" I don't wanna worry my parents, my scores during college and secondary are not good, I barely graduated from school. I don't wanna make them worry about me anymore. " said Albur.
"You are so filial, anyway, you've reached your destination, enjoy your day!" said Albur's car system.
Albur arrived at Chumps TV station. He quickly parked his car, entered the building and went to his office. When he arrived, Wilton and Albur's boss is already there.
"Oh hey, Albur, you're... here....." Said Wilton nervously.
"Huh? What's wrong ? " asked Albur.
"Mr. Filix, you're finally here, I need to talk to you." Said Albur's boss angrily.
"Wha-whats wrong?" asked Albur.
"I told you I will monitor you on your watch, and now you stop me from it huh ? You slacked off didn't you? " Said Albur's boss.
"What? I didn't ! I even finished all the work! Watch ! " Albur opened his bag and pulled out all of the files he finished. The boss was shocked, he looked at the files in amazement. He even took off his digital glasses and put it on repeatly.
"What, I didn't use some kind of dark magic, this is a science world." Said Albur.
"But... how is this ? Huh? " the boss rubbed his eyes and looked at the files.
"Damn, Albur, you're so amazing, even the files from weeks ago were all done! " said Wilton.
"Fine then, I thought I could deduct your salary." Whispered the boss.
"What? " asked Albur.
"But anyway, you cut off my monitor system, I will deduct your salary!" Said the boss.
"Fun fact, sir, that is called invading privacy, he can call the police." said the robot secretary.
"Wha, ok, fine! I will record these works." The boss took all of the files and went to the computer. "Wait, hey, the computer is not working, it have some error." Said the boss.
"You're lying right, every time we done the work you said the computer is broken." scoffed Albur.
"No, this time its really broken, secretary, try and fix it." said the boss.
"Yes sir" said the robot secretary.
"Huh, if that is the case, start filming the news. I'm sure this time we will get more viewers!" said the boss.
"Fine then, come on Wilton let's go. " said Albur.
"Ok" said Wilton.
