Shino: "Sir Shinji, can you tell us about the monsters we faced today?"
Shinji: "That was a Kaito-class monster. Every Kaito monster has a Kaito Form, and once they activate it, they get insanely strong. The one you fought was around Reberu 1–2."
Shino: "Reberu? What does that mean?"
Shinji: "It means stage. When a monster keeps consuming powered eyes, its Reberu increases. Higher Reberu = stronger monster, simple as that."
Shino: "I see. Does that same system apply to Merus monsters?"
Shinji: "Yeah, but the requirements are different for each category."
Shinji continues:
"A Merus Reberu 1 monster needs to consume around 50–80 powered eyes to reach Reberu 10."
"A Kaito Reberu 1 monster needs around 150–300 powered eyes."
"And a Kelius monster Reberu 1… that one needs 500–1000."
Shinji: "That's why monsters roam from nation to nation — hunting more humans and taking their eyes. Most monsters get killed in the process, but if not, then they destroy many parts of a nation (usually kelius and Kaito monsters with higher reberu do this)
Shino: "Then what's the deal with these Kelius monsters? They sound terrifying."
Shinji: "They're on a completely different level. Thank God you've never faced one. Surviving even five seconds against a Kelius monster in its awakened form is almost impossible. Even if a squad had legendary eyes, their chances would still be extremely low."
Shinji: "And unfortunately… legendary eyes are ridiculously rare. Only a handful of people in recorded history were ever born with one. Same with mythic eyes — but legendary ones especially."
Shino: "Sounds like we just talked to a very knowledgeable man. Can you explain more about these eyes? Our school barely teaches anything."
Shinji: "Of course. I wrote a full book about them — everything from classifications to its abilities.Your school only teaches around five percent of what's in here."
Shinji: "The book's called 'Dōryoku o Ataerareta Eyes.'"
Shinji: "Once you finish reading it, I'll tell you about a certain person from history — someone with a legendary eye who soloed a Reberu 10 Kelius monster and was never seen after few years."
Shinji hands them the book.
Shino and his team immediately open it, the room going silent as they dive into knowledge their school never told them.
