Chapter 45 - Chapter 36

Jeisuke: "Momoshimo—get over here. Let's wipe them out."

Momoshimo: "Don't get ahead of yourself."

He raised his guard, eyes scanning the battlefield.

Momoshimo: "They're low-reberu, yeah—but numbers can crush skill if you're careless."

Jeisuke smirked.

Jeisuke: "I know. Still… I feel like we can handle this."

Momoshimo: "We attack—but stay controlled. If you go wild, they'll turn it into their advantage."

Momoshimo stepped forward, planting his foot into the ground.

His eyes sharpened.

Momoshimo:

"Explosive Meteorites."

Small stones materialized midair, glowing faintly.

In an instant, they shot forward.

The stones slammed into the charging monsters—and detonated on impact.

The forest shook.

Screams echoed as limbs were torn apart. Arms flew. Legs collapsed. Several monsters dropped instantly, writhing on the ground, unable to move.

The real battle had begun.

Jeisuke:

"Ground-Breaking Bamboo."

The earth beneath the monsters detonated.

The ground split apart as thick bamboo spears erupted violently from below, blasting several monsters into the air. Others were impaled mid-scream, their bodies pinned helplessly in place, unable to move.

Jeisuke exhaled slowly.

Jeisuke (thought):

I've been waiting for this moment…

Time to use the move my old sensei taught me.

His eyes sharpened.

Jeisuke:

"Leaf-Cutting Tornadoes."

The wind screamed.

Multiple tornadoes formed around him, each packed with countless razor-sharp leaves. They surged forward, swallowing nearby monsters whole.

The sound was horrifying—

flesh being sliced, bones snapping, bodies torn apart and thrown aside like scraps.

Waku (thought):

What… is this kid?

Creating a technique like this at such a young age…

And this level of destruction…

Akaimo: "Woah… Jeisuke… this is insane!"

The aftermath was brutal.

That single move killed nearly a quarter of the monsters on the spot.

The rest panicked.

Some screamed.

Some stumbled.

Most turned and ran for their lives, disappearing into the forest.

Only a few remained.

Momoshimo stepped forward calmly.

He didn't waste time.

Within seconds, the remaining monsters were completely wiped out.

Silence fell over the forest once more.

Shino:

"Jeisuke… I don't know how you pulled that off, but that was insane. Still… a move that loud might've attracted stronger monsters."

Waku:

"It did."

He looked toward the deeper forest, unfazed.

"But don't worry. I'm here. I can sense a Reberu 7 Merus monster nearby. It won't be easy—but I can handle it. Just don't interfere."

A brief silence followed.
