After countless attempts, Jeisuke, Momoshimo, and Akaimo finally passed the test. One by one, everyone reported their answers to Shinji—explaining how they'd act in different situations.
By the time they were done, the sky outside had already turned orange. It was almost 5 P.M.
Shinji stood up and faced them.
"Alright, you all passed," he said. "But the most impressive answers came from Shino. He'll act as this team's captain. And the second-best responses were from Shizuku—so she'll be our vice-leader and observer."
A small ripple of surprise moved through the group, but Shinji continued:
"Rest up. I'll meet you all the day after tomorrow. Go home and take it easy for now."
With that, everyone headed out.
Shinji stayed behind, organizing stacks of research papers and stuffing them into his bag. When he finally finished, he slipped out of the house and began walking toward POX headquarters to attend the scheduled meeting.
He arrived shortly after. The directors of each branch within the Nation of Light greeted him at the entrance and guided him toward the meeting room.
The meeting would begin in just a few minutes.
