Chapter 65 - Chapter 65 Domain Guardian: Guren, Grant

"Wait, let me inspect the equipment and items on your person."

"I obey your will, Great supreme being!"

Then Deithous stretched out his hands, intending to take off the robe covering his body.

"Wait... wait!"

Seeing this, Draco had a face full of black lines and quickly stopped him, saying, "You don't need the clothes."

Deithous nodded, then handed over the rings on his fingers and the pile of scrolls around his waist.

Teleportation Scroll: After using this scroll, a Portal leading to a designated location can be generated.

Magic Charm Scroll: Magic power can be quickly replenished using the mana stored within the scroll.

Enchantment Ring: Attaches various elemental attributes to the target... Inscription Ring: Increases Spell Inscription speed by 100%... A large pile of scrolls and rings, most of which were used to assist Deithous in his work.

Among them were rings with decent effects and attributes, but they were not very useful to Draco.

He returned these items to Deithous, only taking a dozen magic cooldown scrolls from his inventory.

As well as some urgently needed Auxiliary Scrolls.

Scrolls like the Magic Charm Scroll could allow Draco to perform multiple summons without running out of mana.

Ordinary Mana Potions had little effect on Draco.

These scrolls were Deithous's treasures, very rare due to the high difficulty of production.

Once used up, they would be gone.

"Deithous, are there any requirements for the materials used to make scrolls?"

"To create scrolls possessing magic effects of different tiers, the parchment required also has specific demands."

"Logically speaking, the stronger the animal, the tougher its hide, which is more conducive to drawing Magic Inscriptions."

"Dragon Hide would be best."

Dragon Hide?

Draco was stunned for a moment.

This might be a bit difficult.

"I understand. I'll figure something out later."

Draco nodded, indicating that he had taken note.

Draco had Deithous temporarily step aside and prepared to start summoning madly.

The Magic Charm Scroll contained a large amount of magic power, enough for Draco to squander.

He summoned three in a row, and three magic circles lit up simultaneously.

Three figures appeared at the same time.

One was dressed in a tuxedo, but its head resembled a mushroom.

Pichy, the Vice Head Chef responsible for Nazarick's meals.

He is also the Bartender at the Ninth Floor Bar.

It seems Shuna's work will be much easier now.

The other one was Pestonya S. Wank.

Its appearance was that of an upright dog, with a scar on the front of its face that looked like it had been cut open in the middle and sewn back up.

It looked fierce but was actually very gentle, especially toward children.

A High Priestess, a powerful user of Healing Magic, and also the Head Maid in charge of the general maids.

Another management-type talent.

The last one was rather special.

A super-gigantic Infernal Slime.

Guren, the Domain Guardian of the Seventh Floor, "River of Lava."

At this moment, Guren's body was still flowing with rolling hot magma.

Draco quickly signed the contracts for Pichy and Pestonya, then had the two of them step aside.

Guren is Demiurge's direct subordinate.

When Demiurge is away, it is responsible for guarding the Seventh Floor.

It is a Domain Guardian specialized in combat ability.

Its strength even surpasses some Floor Guardians.

If fighting within its domain, the River of Lava, it is a stronger and more troublesome enemy than the Floor Guardian Demiurge.

It uses flexible, retractable tentacles to drag opponents into the lava river, attacking without showing itself.

Since it doesn't need to breathe, it can hide in the lava for extended periods without revealing itself, making it almost impossible to defeat using conventional combat methods.

After signing the contract with Guren, Draco commanded it to change shape and start shrinking.

To prevent it from affecting the surrounding environment, Draco quickly returned to the Treasury and retrieved a guild ring.

He then took it back to the Seventh Floor.

Otherwise, the plain would likely be burnt away by him.

Afterward, under Draco's instructions, it obediently guarded the lava on the Seventh Floor.

As for the ring, he took it back.

The other three also took up their corresponding posts.

To avoid similar situations, Draco came to the Eighth Floor for this summon.

He still had 14 cooldown scrolls and more than half the mana left in the Magic Charm Scroll, enough to squander.

Above the wilderness, a red light shone.

Within sight, a black spider appeared before him.

Grant, the Holy Mother of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, an Insectoid Heteromorph, very similar to Bug Sister's true form beneath the mask.

Moreover, Bug Sister acknowledges Grant's status as a mother.

Because Bug Sister wanted to be self-reliant and provide for herself.

She wanted to stand tall and independent, able to face survival issues on her own instead of relying on her mother.

That's why Bug Sister joined the Pleiades.

(Or so the hearsay goes.)

The Holy Mother, Grant, is a special existence whose status is second only to the Floor Guardians.

She has built webs in areas like the third and Sixth Floors of Nazarick, making her a rare cross-Floor Guardian among the Domain Guardians.

Her domain is a massive spider web that allows her to be active across various floors.

Because she can summon kin, Grant has a large number of "children."

The Holy Mother is like a broodmother, capable of mentally directing and controlling her children to facilitate the protection of her domain.

It is precisely because of the special abilities of her web and her many children spread across various floor domains.

That Grant is able to become such a unique Domain Guardian for the entire Great Tomb.

After signing the contract, Draco brought Grant to the Sixth Floor.

And through "Territory Summoning," he summoned Grant's domain, the Giant Spider Web.

That was an important domain that allowed her to cross between floors.

"Grant, as for food, you can hunt for yourself on the Sixth Floor."

"I'll have Edoma come over later; you can ask her if you have any questions."

"I obey your command, My Lord," Grant said respectfully.

By the way, Grant's level is Lv100.

The reason she has such a high level is entirely due to her creator, "Genjiro."

When Grant was first created, Genjiro defined her as his girlfriend.

Therefore, one could say the Holy Mother is the partner of the supreme being Genjiro.

This also resulted in the Holy Mother's supreme status within the Great Tomb; after all, she is the partner of a supreme being.

Of course, now that everyone's memories have vanished, they only have one supreme being: Draco.

Those settings have been erased.

Bug Sister was also created by Genjiro, but she was raised as a daughter.

So Bug Sister calls Grant "Mother."

Bug Sister.
