Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

"Huh? Demon King?"

The word 'Demon King' that came out of her mouth. I'd seen it plenty in games and novels, but I never imagined I'd hear it in real life.

'Is she nuts?'

"Sniff... Please, bro. I know it's hard to believe. I get that you're thinking I'm crazy or that this is all just a dream."

She'd nailed exactly what I was thinking inside, sending chills creeping up my spine.

She crawled toward me on all fours, clinging desperately. She'd only loosely covered her chest with the blanket, leaving her bare back fully exposed from this angle.

Looking down, I could see her snowy white skin, the elegant dip of her spine, the sleek curve of her waist and hips, and even the plump split of her peach-like ass. Heat rushed to my cheeks.

Before I knew it, she'd crawled right up to me and wrapped both arms tightly around one of my legs. The sensation of my bare thigh sinking between those massive tits... oh man.

"Brooo... It's true, the Demon King is after me. I'm a succubus."

Huh, now succubus too?

"I can even show you proof!"

I was already thinking those mind-blowing tits were proof enough, but suddenly she let out a lewd moan.

"Hnn... Ah, hnng?"

A moment later, a black mist gathered near her tailbone, and a glossy black tail slowly slithered out, growing longer.

"Whoa!"

By the time I'd jolted in surprise, the tail—over a meter long—had formed a sharp, inverted heart shape at the tip.

"Hnnng... Haht, d-do... you believe me now...?"

Pulling out the tail must've hurt; her eyes glistened with tears as she looked up at me.

I stared mesmerized at the swaying tail, then nodded.

"Y-yeah... I believe you. I do."

"R-really...?"

"Well, you asked me to save you first... I need to hear the full story before I decide."

"Ah..."

Her gaze melted my heart!

'Tell me anything! This bro's got your back no problem!'

The words bubbled up to my throat, but my chicken instincts held strong.

'Taking care of a cat is one thing—feeding and housing a succubus is a whole different league.'

She took a deep breath, her chest heaving dramatically, then swallowed hard and began her tale.

"Right. Even if it's urgent, this comes first. As I said, I'm a succubus. The younger twin sister."

I locked eyes with those beautiful orbs, utterly captivated, hanging on her every word.

About ten minutes later...

"...In the end, my sister got captured by the Demon King..."

Sniff.

"...So I ended up fleeing alone across the seas to this distant land with no demons or monsters... Hic."

Sniff.

For the record, those sniffles were from me.

"Ugh... Waaah! That's so saaaad... Huhuhu..."

Already buzzed from the booze, my emotions ran high, and her demon realm version of the 'lost parents, helpless orphan' sob story had me bawling like a baby.

"Sniff... But in the novels I've read, demons need contracts to come to the human world, right?"

"Speak comfortably, bro."

"Sh-should I...?"

Deep down, I wanted to get closer to her, so I jumped at the chance.

She flashed a wistful smile at my question.

"You can come to the human world without a contract. But it's super risky. Without one, a demon's power drops to about one-hundredth of what it is in the demon realm.

Unless you're a high-rank demon with skills like physical attack immunity, most would get taken out in seconds by modern weapons.

With a contract, you just get reverse-summoned back to the demon realm. Plus, there are still a few real priests out there who counter demons, just like some mages still exist."

"Ah, I see!"

"You asked about contracts? It's like... having a vacation home with instant teleport. You can go back and forth between realms anytime. Hide in your contractor's body after, and even priests won't detect you. Auto-healing too. But as black mages dwindled, contracts did too."

Her story picked back up.

Without humans to contract with, the demon realm started drying up. Not starving to death, but overall power plummeted.

I figured if everyone's weaker, no big deal—but apparently, realms beyond human world and demon realm exist aplenty.

Demon realm's tied tight to those dimensions, so they couldn't just chill as herbivores.

"Then the moderate previous Demon King died, and a hardliner new one took the throne."

The new Demon King apparently hated seeing demons weaken.

Just sitting around waiting for black mages in the human world? Laughable.

"N-no way... They started training black mages in the human world?!"

"...Huh? No, that's impossible."

My guess missed spectacularly.

The Demon King started working his underlings to the bone.

Sending demons and monsters into the human world to earn cash, dangers be damned!

"M-money? Out of nowhere?"

"Yep, money. Cash."

"Why do demons need money?"

"I mentioned other dimensions, right? There's a race that exchanges currencies and energies across them—like a currency exchange. Hand over human world money, get the energy demons need. Rates are brutal either way. Total scammers!"

"How do you get that energy directly?"

"Succubi like me absorb men's essence. Violent monsters kill humans. Varies. But pulling that without a contractor these days? You'd get caught and killed fast."

She went on: conditions for those money-grubbing monsters were horrific.

No rest, using abilities for manual labor, illegal gambling, every scam in the book to rake in dough.

That's when her sister entered the picture.

"My sister Leah had this charisma that drew crowds—unlike me."

"Y-you're plenty charismatic too."

"Ah...! Hehe, thanks."

Ugh, she's gorgeous.

"Sister's name is Leah... Oh! Come to think of it, I haven't told you my name yet..."

"Oh, right! I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Mia. Succubus Mia. And you...?"

"Me? I'm Choi Jun-young! Let's be friends!"

Ah, damn. Am I in elementary school? What kind of intro was that!

I inwardly cringed at my lameass move, but she didn't seem to mind. She mulled over my name a few times, then continued about her sister.

"Choi Jun-young... Jun-young bro. Hehe. Oh, right, sister's story. She was friendly with all demons but couldn't stand their exploitation. She gathered like-minded ones, plotted rebellion, dreamed of returning to moderate ways... But it..."

"Failed, huh."

"Yeah... She got caught by the Demon King. Probably writhing in agony right now!

I'm her only sister. They see me as a potential rally point for another revolt, so the chase began. The rest you saw.

I fled blindly, collapsed on some cold unknown street, and you found me. Bro, this is fate. Be my contractor...!"

The booze had me sobbing over her plight when her words snapped me sober.

"Con-contractor?!"

"Yes, contractor. My safe haven. My home to return to! Be my sanctuary."

"S-sanctuary!"

Gasp, gasp. What the—those are wedding vows! This girl proposing to me!

Suddenly my mind painted us post-proposal, with two kids, living happily ever after. The baby-making? Intense, of course!

'Honestly, before the contract talk, I figured she'd ask for a place to crash or some cash till she got on her feet—total sucker bait. But a contract?'

From what she said, demon contracts bind souls—an oath, soulmates basically. My marriage exaggeration wasn't far off.

"Yes... My sanctuary. I want to rest. And save my sister. With a contract, you and I both get stronger. Bro, please? For that... I'll do anything..."

"Any-anything? Gulp. Anything?"

"Yes, anything... Uh, wh-what?"

'Ah, shit. Full throttle.'

Throb!

Hearing a beauty offer 'anything' stirs naughty thoughts in any guy.

I was no exception. My massive tool strained against my boxers, ready to rip through.

And she was still clinging to my leg.

Even as a succubus, she blushed, avoiding my raging hard-on, which only made her hotter.

"Y-you're so... healthy, bro. Is that what you want from me?"

She turned her head slightly, face flushing deeper as she asked.

"Huff, huff... What if it is?"

"...No."

"No?!"

Why not! You said anything! Guess the contract's off then...

"Not yet."

Not a total no! Okay, let's think this over!

'Not yet means later, right? Yeah?'

"Truth is, I was in cat form 'cause my power was drained. I'm in succubus form to talk, but even this is hard to maintain. No strength left for... that. I need the contract to recover."

"Contract! Right, contract. Wait, how can I even do that? Didn't you say only black mages can?"

"N-nooo. It's... well..."

She glanced at me hesitantly.

"What? Spit it out."

"Um... Not just black mages—demons can contract specific types. For succubi, it has to be a guy with strong yang energy, pure power..."

"Huh? You mean...?"

"Y-yeah... Big equipment too, and no experience till thirty..."

"Gahk!"
