### **Chapter 2: The Guild, The Group, and The Gacha**
At the Guild counter, a half-elf with a name tag reading 'Eina' regarded me with a calm, professional gaze.
"He says you're new and want to register," the Loki Familia member stated, gesturing towards me. "That right, kid?"
I pushed the lingering excitement from the system aside and focused. "Yes, that's correct."
Eina slid a stack of papers across the polished wooden counter. "You'll need to fill these out. The registration fee is 2,000 Valis."
My stomach dropped. Money. Right. I didn't have a single coin. The adventurer, Zanis, must have seen the look on my face because he let out a long, weary sigh.
"Gods, you're really starting from zero, aren't you?" He dug into a pouch at his belt, pulling out a handful of coins and placing them on the counter. It was more than enough for the fee. "Here. A welcome-to-Orario gift. Get yourself registered, find a place to stay, and then find a Familia. You won't last a day otherwise."
I was floored by the unexpected kindness. "I... I can't take this."
"Sure you can. Just pay it forward someday," he said with a dismissive shrug. "Name's Zanis. Try not to get killed." And with that, he gave a final nod and strode out of the Guild, vanishing into the street's chaotic flow.
"I'll pay him back," I vowed, gathering the coins.
"Many say that," Eina replied, her tone neutral but not unkind. "Now, about these forms..."
The registration was simple. I chose the name 'Ren' and listed my origin as the 'Far East'—vague, but technically true. With the paperwork filed and the fee paid, I was officially an adventurer. A broke, homeless adventurer with no Familia, but an adventurer nonetheless.
Following Eina's helpful suggestion, I used the rest of Zanis's money to rent a small, cheap room in an inn called "The Weary Adventurer." It wasn't much, just a cot and a table, but it was private. It was a sanctuary.
The moment the door clicked shut, I sank onto the cot, the day's events finally crashing down on me. I took a deep breath and focused inward, pulling up the system's interface.
The chat was already active.
> **Hunter_02:** So, Admin_01, you landed in Danmachi? Not bad. Could be worse. Could be here, about to take the Hunter Exam.

> **Admin_01:** You figured it out that fast?
>
> **Hunter_02:** Of course. The moment the system popped up and I saw the city, I knew. We all read the same stuff. The real question is, who's next?
I smiled. It was a relief not to be the only one who understood. We were all on the same page. I navigated to the **[Members]** tab, the prompt still waiting for me.
**[A compatible candidate has been detected. Would you like to send an invitation?]**
**[Y/N]**
I selected **[Y]**.
**[Sending invitation to a parallel universe... Invitation Accepted!]**
**[User 'Shinobi_03' has joined the chat.]**
A new name lit up the group.
> **Shinobi_03:** This is it, then. The 'cheat' I always read about in fanfiction. Just my luck I get dropped into the middle of the woods near Konoha during the Third Great Ninja War.

> **Hunter_02:** Ouch. That's a rough starting point. I'm in Yorknew City.

> **Admin_01:** Welcome to the club, Shinobi_03. I'm Ren, the 'Admin.' I'm in Orario. And that's Hunter_02. We're all... well, us.
I quickly typed out a summary of the system's functions, explaining the shared quests and the gacha banner that used pulls and stellar crystals.
> **Admin_01:** So, to recap: We do quests, get pulls, and use them on the gacha banner to get powers from other anime. Simple enough. I got 20 pulls for my starter quest.

> **Hunter_02:** Twenty pulls right off the bat? Damn. My starter quest is just 'Pass the Hunter Exam.' I have to actually *do* it first.

> **Shinobi_03:** Mine is 'Survive.' Just... 'Survive.' No wonder the reward is so high like 30 pulls and 1600 stellar crystals. But this gacha... the potential is limitless. We could become unstoppable.
Just as the weight of that statement settled in, a new notification flashed, appearing for all of us simultaneously.

A thrill shot through me. My own 20 pulls were still waiting, but this was a freebie. A guaranteed game-changer for all of us.

In my small, dark room in Orario, I stared at the system screen, my heart pounding. The future of three versions of me, scattered across the multiverse, was about to be decided by a roll of the dice.
