What is your planned chapter length?
I Im aiming for around 3000 words per chapter! Along with all the goodies in the auxillary chapter!
Will there be any extra materials?
World Map will be published here when it is completed, the map wont include any areas not yet mentioned in the story of course!
I am also working on character sheets and illustrations! If this novel gets enough traction, I will commision REAL ARTISTS for illustrations. As it happens to be, I am also an artist who is really good at drawing, I might even draw a few myself ;), but I really do wanna see what others picture my characters as.
Cover Art will also be updated, I will be making a better cover, dont you guys worry!
The Auxillary volume will be used for a variety of lore goodies of course!
Will this be a harem?
No! For reasons quite obvious once you read the first few chapters. In fact, all romance would happen between side characters, and will not involve the MC... for obvious reasons. I am really good at writing romance plots, trust me, my wife made me watch enough romance anime to make me puke.
How long will this novel be?
I am planning for this novel to be around 700~1000 chapters long, not counting the extras, along with 7 major arcs and many more smaller ones. It may be longer as I have left room to expand. I spent nearly 2 months building this world and the characters who live within it before penning a single word, so there will be no lack of material.
Will this book be another generic returner/overpowered mc novel?
Yes and no. There is no doubt that the main character will be unbelievably strong. However, it will not follow traditional tropes (much), and will have many differentiating factors compared to more generic novels. There will be people more powerful than the MC, mysteries to uncover, and enough lore to make the most lore hungry satisfied. The world of the story has a history of 30,000 years filled with various epochs and events.
I have not decided to write a massive world multiple times the size of earth, but rather one with similar size, because I believe fleshing out a normal world completely is far more important than a massive one with no depth. The world I made is stunningly rich and beautiful, that is the reason I wish to share it with you.
Will there be a complex plot and power system?
The plot will be rich, yes. It wont be too complex as to make the readers confused at what is happening, I will trickle information down to the reader slowly. I wont force feed you all the info and lore in a single chapter... okay that does seem like something I would do. For all you lore heavy readers, dont be discouraged, there will be various more detailed snippets of the lore and the intracacies of the power system I designed in the auxillary volume.
There are both the Academy and Kingdom Building tags, how will you manage this?
Dont worry guys, I wont try to do 2 different things and fail miserably at both! Hopefully...
I will be making the MC utilize their time in the academy effectively. The kingdom building is connected to the academy, and the academy is connected to the kingdom builing, intertwined in a way that doesnt diminish the other, nor affects one another in a unnatural way. The MC wont just leave behind the academy forever after leaving. The MC will walk a true emperors path!
Is it just from the MC's perspective you will write the book? Or will you use multiple POV's?
I will write it from the MC's perspective, however, I will be internalizing the side character's perspective, and I might even release their thought processes and the scene from their perspective on the goodies batch in the auxillary volume or the extra chapters at the end of every volume!
You mentioned multiple volumes, will you be taking breaks between each volume?
