Chapter - 29 The End of One Journey

"Hey... have you finished your work, Lucien?" asked Aren.

"Just a few things are left," Lucien replied.

Lucien and the others had been living in the village for three days since the goblin incident.

They were working on repairing the village, and it was almost fixed.

Lira and Seris were serving food to the villagers and preparing water to drink.

Hours passed.

"Done," said Lucien.

Then he looked around.

He saw villagers laughing and talking to each other.

It was a completely different scene from when they first entered the village.

Lucien smiled.

Then he noticed Aren, Lira, and Seris talking to each other.

"They are starting to open up to each other," Lucien thought inwardly and continued, "That's good."

After that, Lucien went to the village chief's house.

He went there because he had a duty to give daily updates about the village's development and about other monsters.

Then Lucien gave updates to the old man.

"So, the surrounding areas of the village are fully checked, and you guys have also set some traps," said the old man.

"Yes," Lucien replied.

"Thank you for helping us," the old man said gently and continued, "I know these words are not enough for what you guys did."

"Don't worry, sir," said Lucien and continued, "We're just doing our job."

The old man smiled gently.

Lucien stood up, and as he was leaving the chief's house—

"Well, we're going to leave this place tomorrow," said Lucien.

"Tomorrow?" said the village chief.

"Yes," Lucien replied.

After he left the chief's house,

Lucien looked up at the sky.

He stretched his hands.

Then he smiled.

He looked around and saw Aren and the others talking to each other.

Lucien went near them.

Then—

Next day

"Hey, did you prepare everything?" said Lucien.

"Yes," Seris replied.

Seris and Lucien were preparing things for their journey.

After packing everything into bags, they left the house.

They saw many villagers surrounding Aren and Lira.

They went near them.

"Thank you for helping us," said one village lady.

Other villagers were also thanking them.

Aren and Lira noticed Lucien and Seris.

They had prepared everything in their bags.

Minutes passed.

They were at the village's main entrance and saw the village chief standing there.

The village chief looked at them and gave a warm smile.

"First, thank you for helping us," said the village chief and continued, "Because of you, everything went perfectly. "

"We're just doing our work," said Aren with a soft smile and voice.

The village chief smiled gently.

"Well, I have prepared a cart for you guys," said the village chief.

Aren quickly looked at him.

"Don't worry about us," he said and continued, "We'll go on foot."

Seris and Lira nodded.

"No," said the village chief and continued, "You are our saviors. Just think of this as a small thank you."

Aren didn't say anything at first. He looked at Lira and the others.

"Fine," Aren replied.

The village chief was happy to hear this.

They went near the cart and sat inside.

When Lucien was about to sit—

"Thank you for helping us," said the village chief.

Lucien doesn't said anything then he also sat on the cart.

The village chief smiled lightly.

"He keeps saying thank you again and again," Lucien thought inwardly.

Aren, Lira, and Seris waved their hands to the villagers.

The villagers waved back.

"The village has completely changed," said Aren.

Lira and Seris smiled and nodded.

Lucien looked around at the forest.

He smiled lightly.

"Finally, this mission is complete," Lucien thought inwardly.

In the village

"Those kids were really amazing," said one villager.

People were talking to each other.

The village chief looked around.

"These kids are going to rise in the future," the village chief thought inwardly and continued, "I hope I will be able to see that day."

Thinking this, the village chief smiled.

As villagers were leaving—

"Village chief, have you decided the name of the village?" asked a young boy.

"Name?" said the village chief. Then he looked at the sky and continued, "Yes, I have decided the name."

"What is the name?" asked the young boy.

"The name of this village is Fourlight Village," the village chief replied.

"That... that's really cool!" said the young boy.

Present time – In the cart

The next day,

Lucien and the others were traveling to the Solaris Holy Empire.

"How many days do you think it will take to reach the empire, Lucien?" Aren asked.

Lucien replied, "Well, I think we will reach the empire in three days."

"Three days," said Aren, then he looked around.

Seris and Lira were training their magic.

"Magic is really cool," Aren thought.

Then he smiled.

"Well, whatever," Aren thought.

After a few days – At the entrance of Solaris Holy Empire

They thanked the cart owner.

After that, they entered the empire.

"Finally, we reached," Lucien thought inwardly.

"What should we do now?" asked Aren.

Lucien replied, "First, we will go to the Adventurers' Guild to report about those goblins."

After saying this, Aren placed his hand on Lucien's shoulder.

"Well, you guys should go to an inn," said Aren to Lucien and Seris, and continued, "Lira and I will go to the guild to report."

Lucien looked at Aren.

"Are you sure?" said Lucien.

"Yes," Aren replied.

Lira nodded.

Then Aren and Lira left for the Adventurers' Guild, and Lucien and Seris went to an inn.

On the way to the inn

"Do you think they will be fine?" said Seris.

Lucien looked at her.

"Yes, they will be fine," he replied and continued, "After all, he is the leader of our party."

Seris looked at the blue sky.

After they reached the Moonlit Inn, they met the old lady and greeted her.

After a few minutes of talking, they went to the first floor.

Hours later

Aren and Lira also reached the inn at night.

After greeting the owner, they went to their room.

They opened the door.

Lucien and Seris were reading books separately.

They noticed them.

"How did it go?" said Lucien.

"Everything went smoothly," Aren replied and continued, "But those goblins have been seen in many places."

Lucien looked at Aren.

"What?" said Lucien.

Seris was also listening carefully.

"They said there were cases where those types of goblins attacked people," said Lira and continued, "The guild adventurers are also trying to find the reason why they are attacking people and where they are coming from."

" ---And Fiora sis was also worried about you guys," said Aren and continued, "I told her you guys were fine."

"That's okay," said Seris.

After talking, they ate dinner and went to sleep.

As Lucien was going to sleep,

he looked at the night sky.

He smiled.

"Right now, everything is going perfectly," Lucien thought inwardly and continued, "I don't think anything worse is going to happen."

Then he went to sleep.

In a deep forest

"So, this is the place," said a person whose whole body was covered in black cloth.

"Yes," said another person and continued, "Let's continue our mission."

The first person smiled.

"I've been waiting for this."
