Light flashed in my eyes as I came to my senses.
Seraphina woke up in front of me, too, rubbing her eyes.
What was that…
We were in Hope's and Seraphina's room, right where someone had made us faint.
The last thing I remember seeing was a hand covering my mouth.
"Who was that, and why did they do that to us..?" Seraphina whispered with a tiny hint of fear in her voice.
"I don't know," I answered.
But I did know one thing –
Whoever that was did not want us finding Hope, at least till they didn't need her anymore.
And I had to find her.
