As Vera fled Chief Donald's house in Lekki, police hot on her heels, Nk saw her chance. She swooped in on Femi, selling herself as the perfect woman – and Vera as a murderous villain. Femi wasn't smitten, but Nk's relentless pursuit wore him down. They planned a date at Eko Atlantic hotel.
Eager to impress, Nk donned her finest outfit and borrowed bling. She arrived early, waiting anxiously as Femi finally showed. "Traffic," he apologized. They ordered – Nk's fish sharma and champagne – and chatted about futures, kids, dreams. As they parted, Nk overordered takeaways: fish, rice, chicken veg. Femi's eyes widened at her extravagance, a greedy streak emerging. After their first date, Nk felt like she'd hit the jackpot – Femi was from a wealthy family, and she was determined to marry into it. She bragged about him, envisioning herself a queen, and pushed for a second date. Femi, though uninterested, decided to give her another chance. At their second date, Femi took Nk to Mall Mart in Yaba, Lagos. She went on a shopping spree, and he paid without flinching. Later, at New Haven Hotel, Idumota, Nk ordered lavishly, lounged like royalty with wine in hand, and barked orders at the waiter. Femi grew uneasy with her rudeness, but she didn't let up. When he tried to intervene, she feigned anger, storming out – leaving Femi struggling to keep up. Femi was disappointed in Nk's tantrum; he was trying to correct her, but her character was a lost cause. He decided he'd had enough. As he pondered cutting ties, his phone rang – Nk, no doubt – and he ignored it. The calls kept coming, four in a row, but he didn't answer. Then a text landed: "I'm disappointed you defended a lowly bar attendant over me, your supposed love, Femi." He didn't respond. Instead, he hopped in his car and sped home, done with the drama. Nk was expecting Femi to call her but Femi didn't have her time again so she decided to visit Femi's family house in Banana Island. She used the address on Femi's business card to locate his family house. Immediately Nk arrived at Femi's family house, she started insulting the gateman simply because the humble gateman demanded that she should call Femi to confirm that he is expecting someone like her, She was allowed inside, and suddenly turned into a sweetheart in front of Femi's parents. They were thrilled to meet a girl as beautiful as Nk, oblivious to the fact that she was hiding her true self - a wolf in sheep's clothing. Femi played along, pretending everything was fine between them. They treated her like royalty, and after a while, Femi walked her out. He was hoping she'd apologize for her earlier behavior, but Nk was too proud to admit she was wrong. That was when Femi dropped the hammer, telling her it was over between them and warning her never to come back to his family house. Nk stormed out, furious, and didn't even bother waiting for the gateman to open the gate - she let herself out and went home.
NK was forced to keep up appearances as Femi bluntly told her to leave his father's compound and never come back. But she was too caught up in the lavish lifestyle she saw at his house - the cars, the setup... it was the kind of luxury life she'd been dreaming of. She wasted no time, immediately plotting her next move to win Femi back and get that life under her control. She went to meet with her friend Jane, a tough girl from the Egun tribe, to seek her advice. Jane was more cunning than Nk and encouraged her to embrace her darker side, teaching her new tactics to manipulate others and further fueling her negative traits. Jane was in her yard, preparing ewedu and amala, a popular Yoruba dish, when Nk suddenly appeared. She was surprised to see her, but gave her a warm hug and brought out a plastic chair from her room - they couldn't talk openly in the public yard. Jane told Nk to wait until she finished cooking, saying she looked troubled, and they'd go inside to discuss things.
After finishing cooking, she carried the food inside and Nk joined her. That's when she opened up to Jane, explaining how much she wanted Femi and how he'd rejected her because of an incident with a low-level staff member of hotel. After hearing Nk's story, Jane hatched a plan, telling Nk she'd take her to a herbalist who'd prepare powerful charms called "do as I say". These charms, she claimed, would give Nk control over Femi and his family. Nk was ecstatic, feeling her luck had finally turned and she'd become the dominant force in Femi's life. She spent the night at Jane's house, preparing for their trip to Ogun State, Nigeria, where the herbalist specializing in "do as I say" charms lived. The next morning, they boarded a bus and headed to Ogun State. Upon arrival, they hired an okada to take them to Ikuu shrine, their destination. Ikuu, the herbalist, asked Nk why she'd come to his shrine and proceeded to tell her how Femi had rejected her due to her behavior. Ikuu agreed to prepare the charms, but required Nk to stay with him for two days to access her womanhood. Desperate to win Femi back, Nk consented. She lay naked in the inner chamber of Ikuu's shrine while Jane went out to fetch the sacrificial items.
After two days of sleeping with Ikuu, a man old enough to be her grandfather, he prepared the charms and gave them to Nk. He instructed her to place the charms in a secure location where no one would see or touch them, and to mention Femi's name during incantations. He also gave her a powder-like charm to apply to her face when visiting Femi, with specific instructions. However, he warned Nk that if rainwater touched the charm, she would go mad within seven days.
NK and Jane hired motorbikes from Ikuu shrine to the bus stop, and then boarded a bus back to Lagos. Upon arrival, they chartered a Keke na pepe, also known as a tricycle, to take them home. However, their journey was disrupted by a sudden storm - lightning flashed, thunder rolled, and the sky turned dark. Before they could react, heavy rain poured down, accompanied by strong winds that blew off the tricycle's roof. Unfortunately, the charm got soaked in the rain, despite their efforts to protect it. NK was furious and couldn't hold back her tears, breaking down in sobs. Jane urged her to stop crying, suggesting they return to Ikuu shrine, hoping he'd provide a solution to their predicament and help them avoid the gods' wrath. NK was desperate to return to Ikuu and plead for mercy, fearing she'd go mad otherwise. However, she'd spent most of her money on the initial visit, and another trip would require a substantial amount. She begged Jane to lend her cash, but Jane claimed she was broke. Desperate, NK sold one of her phones to fund their journey. NK and Jane returned to Ikuu shrine, begging for forgiveness for disobeying his instructions. Ikuu was unyielding, telling NK that no one defies him and escapes consequences, implying her fate was sealed. NK and Jane headed back to Lagos, NK in a state of distress, facing the looming threat of losing her sanity. To make matters worse, Jane started distancing herself, leaving NK to deal with the consequences of their actions alone. NK regretted ever crossing paths with Jane, who'd introduced her to the destructive path. Ironically, Jane was now spreading rumors about NK, telling anyone who'd listen that she'd visited a native doctor to win a man's heart. NK was in turmoil, the reality of her situation sinking in. With just three days left before she potentially loses her sanity, she was frantic. Pacing her room, she grappled with her fate, ultimately concluding she'd rather die than live as a mad person. She could no longer tolerate Jane's behavior. She was deeply uncomfortable with how Jane had damaged her reputation after misleading her. As a result, NK went to Jane's house and stabbed her to death. Afterwards, NK took her own life by hanging herself, bringing a tragic end to both NK and Jane.
