Volume 2, Chapter 75: The New Era
The Crimson Mother's body was coming apart.
Wang Qiu'er's platinum spear was still buried deep in her chest. The Young Gods kept her pinned with the temporary higher laws I had given them. Her high-dimensional core cracked like thin ice under too much weight. Dark red blood turned into raw spatial noise and drifted away. Her eyes, which normally burned with endless hunger, went wide with something close to panic.
"Enough," I said.
I didn't rush. Space simply folded under my boots and placed me between the kids and the collapsing God King. I raised one hand and caught the leftover force of their attacks in an open palm.
"Teacher?" Yuhao called out. His golden Eye of Destiny was still open. "She's an abyssal parasite. If her core finishes breaking—"
"I know what she is," I said. I turned to face the dying woman. "Right now she's also a huge pile of high-dimensional material going to waste."
I looked down at her. Most of her lower body had already turned into grey dust. Her core flickered like a candle that had almost burned out.
"You have two choices," I told her. My voice stayed calm, but it carried the weight of someone sitting near the edge of the sixth dimension. "Option one: your core finishes dissolving and my students use what's left for target practice. Option two: you take a job."
The Crimson Mother's multi-jointed fingers clawed at empty air. "A… job?"
"Hui Mei, the God of Destruction, has a hard and necessary job in the Divine Realm," I explained. "Most people think Destruction means mindless killing. That's not it. One of his main duties is clearing out dead ends, rotting sectors, and places that have stopped growing so his wife, the Goddess of Life, can start something new. But that's only half the work.
"The bigger, constant job is dealing with the endless negative energy that rises from the mortal worlds below. Every day, human realms produce an ocean of greed, anger, jealousy, arrogance, lust, and every other kind of malice. If that poison is left alone, it flows upward and starts rotting the Divine Realm from the inside. Hui Mei and the Seven Original Sin Gods act as a filter. They pull that toxic energy out of the lower worlds, break it down with pure Destruction Intent, and erase it so the Divine Realm stays balanced. If that seat stays empty too long, the negative energy floods back up. Gods start going mad. The structural core of the Divine Realm becomes unstable. One good space-time storm and the whole place can be torn apart.
"That's why Hui Mei is so stubborn and sharp-tempered. He spends every day processing the universe's worst garbage. It stains a person. And that's exactly why someone like you is useful."
I looked straight at the crumbling Crimson Mother.
"You are the living core of a four-dimensional realm that grows by devouring. Your Crimson Realm can swallow and break down almost anything. Instead of Hui Mei and the Sin Gods carrying all that filth inside their own bodies, you can pull the negative energy straight into your realm and let it digest there. They stay clean. You get a steady supply of raw material.
"Even better, you don't just destroy. You transform. Hui Mei can break the toxic part of the energy, and you can swallow what's left and turn it into clean Immortal Qi that feeds back into the Divine Realm. That means the realm can grow instead of just surviving. "
"So here's the offer. You stop being an illegal parasite. You become the official cleaner and buffer under Hui Mei's command. You get to keep existing. You get a purpose that matches your nature. And you don't end up as dust on the floor of my pocket dimension. What do you say?"
While I spoke, my thoughts ran ahead.
I already knew what was coming for my own realm. The Space-Time Turbulence would arrive at the Phoenix God Star sooner or later. If it stayed at the same level as the one in the old timeline from the Legend of the Divine Realm, I could handle it without much trouble. But my Omniscient Gaze showed me more than one path. In some branches the Universe Will left the storm alone. In others it poured extra power into the Turbulence, twisting the currents far beyond what happened before.
The Universe Will was using its strength to blur the edges of those futures, trying to confuse my sight. It wasn't strong enough to block me completely, but it made the picture messy. In the paths where the storm hit harder and I was unprepared, my family and I walked away with only light injuries. The God Realm itself, though, took heavy damage. And just like in the old stories, Hui Mei and Sheng Ming ended up sacrificing themselves to hold the core together. After that it would take a very long time for a new God of Destruction and Goddess of Life to appear.
I refused to let that version play out.
That was why the Crimson Mother mattered so much. Her living four-dimensional realm could be expanded into a thick outer layer around the Phoenix God Star. Space-time storms, cosmic debris, and whatever else the Universe Will threw at us would hit her first. She was the cleanest and most effective preparation I could make right now.
The Crimson Mother's eyes flickered wildly. Her remaining form trembled. The will to survive crushed whatever pride she had left.
"I accept," she said quickly, almost desperately. "I'll take the job. Just… don't erase me."
"Smart choice."
I tapped into the Phoenix Heart God Core.
Chaos Qi rose around my left hand like soft white-blue fire. This was Glacial Requiem, one of the Genesis Heavenly Flames. It didn't burn with heat. It burned with the idea of perfect restoration — the same song that could pull a dying body back to the moment before it was wounded, or freeze an enemy's personal timeline to a point before they ever existed.
I layered Absolute Manifestation on top of it. Chaos Qi became the clay. The white-blue flame became the heat that shaped it. Absolute Manifestation was the purest form of the Power of Creation. Whatever I clearly pictured, the Core could force into reality as long as I supplied the raw material.
Then I activated Recursive Simulation — what I still called Paggaya sa Lahat in the old tongue. The Core listened to the deep frequency of the Crimson Mother's abyssal nature, the same way a musician listens to a single note and then plays it back stronger. It did not simply copy. It took that frequency, improved it, and made a permanent version that belonged to me.
Finally I reached for Reality Re-Writing. Through the Eyes of the Origin God I stepped past her broken surface and into the basic rules that made her who she was. I did not just heal flesh. I rewrote the ownership lines of her existence. The wild, parasitic hunger that answered only to the Abyss was cut away. In its place I wrote a clean, regulated law of Cosmic Entropy and bound that law to the Phoenix God Star Realm and to Hui Mei's command. From this moment on, her continued existence depended on the new contract.
I was careful with the details. I left her connection to the Crimson Realm completely intact so she could still command and expand it. At the same time I severed every root that tied her to the Abyssal Plane itself. That way, when I later poured the entire Abyssal Plane into Douluo Planet to push it into the fourth dimension, she would not be dragged along or damaged by the process.
The white-blue flame washed over her cracked core. Grey dust that had already drifted away reversed direction and pulled back together. Her jagged red shell melted like wax and reformed into a smooth dark-crimson cloak. A stable early-stage God King core settled quietly in her chest. When she opened her eyes again, the light in them was calm and orderly, no longer the endless hungry red of the Abyss.
Before she could say anything else, the space above us tore open.
Pillars of light dropped one after another. Deep purple for Hui Mei, bright emerald for Sheng Ming, dark steady light for Ji Dong, warm gold for Lie Yan, and five more carrying the clear auras of my wives — Bibi Dong, Gu Yuena, Zhu Zhuqing, Shui Bing'er, and Qian Renxue. Their avatars stepped out together and formed a quiet circle around the remaining space.
Hui Mei looked at the newly changed Crimson Mother, then at me. He gave a short nod. "She'll do. There are three dead galaxies in the northern sectors that need clearing. I'll take her."
Then every gaze in the circle turned toward the other side of the split space, where Chen Feng still knelt.
The transmigrator looked empty. His system screens were gone. His borrowed skills had been cut away. Only a bare soul remained. When he saw the full group of God Kings standing over him, whatever was left of his composure broke.
"No… no, this isn't how it goes!" he shouted, scrambling backward on his knees. "I was supposed to be the protagonist! I had the System! I knew every plot beat! You're just a senior who got lucky! You changed everything! You ruined my story!"
He pointed a shaking finger at me, eyes wild.
"You… you're the reason I lost everything!"
With a desperate scream he launched himself forward, gathering the last scraps of his Nihility power into a crude, ugly spear of black energy aimed straight at my chest.
I didn't move. I only tilted my head and looked at him with mild, almost pitying amusement.
Hui Mei's hand was already there.
He caught Chen Feng's wrist the same way a man might catch a child's tantrum. There was a sharp twist. The black spear winked out. Chen Feng's arm bent at an angle that made him scream.
"You little parasite," Hui Mei said, voice low and cold. "Do you have any idea how much garbage you poured into my realm? You're worse than the Abyss. Worse than the Crimson Mother ever was. At least they were honest about what they wanted. You poured artificial grudges, forced deaths, and stolen plots into this realm like poison. Every scheme you stirred up sent waves of negative energy straight into the Phoenix God Star. My people and I have been buried in that filth for years, filtering it day and night so it wouldn't drive the rest of the gods mad. You made our work ten times heavier than it needed to be."
He raised his free hand. Dense purple light, pure Destruction, gathered in his palm. He didn't bother calling the full Destruction Scepter. Chen Feng wasn't worth that much effort.
"I'm done cleaning up after you."
Chen Feng's eyes went huge. "Wait—wait, please, I'll—"
"Hakai."
The purple light swallowed him whole. Chen Feng's scream turned high and broken, the sound of someone who had finally realized there was no plot armor left. In less than a second the light collapsed inward, and both the scream and the transmigrator ceased to exist.
As his soul faded, something ugly reacted. A glowing blue metallic parasite — the true shape of his foreign System — burst out of the dying coordinates. It let out a high, artificial screech and tried to tear open a rift to escape.
"Not in my house," I said.
I breathed out a wave of black flame. This was Obsidian Dirge, one of the Genesis Heavenly Flames. It did not burn with heat. It burned with the song of petrification. Wherever the black fire touched, the artificial laws and space-time coordinates of the parasite turned stiff and heavy, as if the very rules that kept it together had been forced into solid stone. The blue construct cracked, froze, and shattered.
I reached out with Chaos Qi and crushed the petrified remains until nothing was left.
Only a single clean God Core of Nihility floated in the air. I caught it, turned, and tossed it toward the three who could actually use it.
"Hui Mei. Ji Dong. Dong'er. This one's compatible with your paths. Hui Mei, you're already at mid-stage — it should give you a clean bump. Ji Dong, Dong'er, you're both still early-stage. Absorb what's useful. Even a small step forward is better than leaving it as a trophy."
Hui Mei caught the core first, weighed it once in his hand, and gave a short nod. Ji Dong and Bibi Dong each received a portion of the same energy as it split cleanly under my will. None of them spoke. They simply stored it away for later.
"Alright, kids," I said, turning back to the group. "High-dimensional cleanup is finished. Let's look at your home."
I waved my hand. The custom dimension dissolved, and we returned to the surface of Douluo Planet.
The world below was still at war, but it was not the one-sided slaughter the Abyss had planned. On the front lines, Federation soldiers in soul armor stood side by side with massive Soul Beasts from the Star Dou Forest. Soul cannons fired in rhythm with the roars of hundred-thousand-year beasts. From the rear, a wide grey portal hung in the sky — the Undead Demiplane.
During the five-year grind, Yuhao had fully inherited Electrolux's legacy. Millions of holy undead in radiant bone armor poured out of the portal. They did not spread fear. They formed a solid wall of clean light and pushed the abyssal creatures back with steady, precise force. For the first time, living humans, wild beasts, and holy undead fought under one banner.
"Time for the last step," I said quietly, floating high above the atmosphere.
Refined section:
With the Crimson Mother under control and Chen Feng gone, the Abyssal Plane was nothing more than an empty shell packed with raw dimensional energy. I reached out with my senses, gripped the entire core of the dying plane, and guided its mass straight into Douluo Planet.
"Grow," I told it.
The planet answered.
At first the change was quiet. Then the ground itself began to breathe. Space did not crack or tear. It expanded outward in every direction at once, folding new layers of depth into the physical world. What had been ordinary three-dimensional space thickened until it carried the weight of a fourth axis. Oceans sank deeper without ever spilling past their shores, their waters turning a clear, glowing crystal blue. Mountains rose higher and sharper, their peaks taking on clean geometric lines that pulsed with natural ley-line light. The spirit energy in the air condensed into a soft, visible mist that drifted like morning fog even under the noon sun. Every mortal who breathed it felt years of weariness leave their bodies.
I did not stop at simple growth. In the center of the old Sea God Lake I planted a single seed of pure Chaos Qi mixed with the densest life essence of the Abyssal Plane. The seed took root instantly. A colossal Balete tree erupted upward, its massive aerial roots spreading across the lake like the fingers of an ancient spirit, its trunk thicker than any fortress wall, its crown piercing the clouds. Green-gold leaves the size of houses unfurled and released wave after wave of primordial life force. This was no ordinary tree. To me it carried the weight of home — the same sacred Balete that the old people of the Katagalugan once treated as a doorway between the living and the unseen. Now it stood as the living heart of Douluo Planet.
The changes settled into clear, lasting laws.
First, the hard ceiling on cultivation vanished. In the old three-dimensional era a human could climb only as far as Rank 99, the Limit Douluo. Crossing into Rank 100 required a god position or a direct link to a Divine Realm. Now the planet's own laws were strong enough to support true breakthroughs. A cultivator who reached the peak of Rank 99 could push into Rank 100 and beyond by their own strength, becoming what the world would later call a Wild God — a deity rooted to the planet itself rather than one who borrowed power from above.
But a Wild God was not the same as a True God who held a proper God Position. Wild Gods still used Soul Power, an energy that remained fundamentally inferior to Divine Energy or Immortal Qi. Their lifespans lengthened dramatically, yet they were not truly immortal. Gods who possessed official positions could still restrict or suppress them. More importantly, because they were not anchored to any Divine Realm, the Universe Will could still mark them as anomalies and attempt to erase them. If a Wild God ever entered a true Divine Realm, the dense Immortal Qi would baptize their body and force a reorganization. Their cultivation would drop by an entire major level, often returning them to Rank 99 until they adapted or obtained a real God Position. In short, the planet now allowed people to reach god-level strength on their own, but true immortality, full power, and protection from the Universe Will still required a proper seat in a Divine Realm.
Second, the planet became vastly sturdier. In the old three-dimensional era, even the mere presence of a true god was a serious risk. A God Officer or higher who fully released their aura could destabilize the laws of a normal planet, crack its crust, or in extreme cases tear the entire world apart just by existing too strongly in one place. Actual combat between gods on a 3D surface was almost guaranteed to leave permanent scars or worse. The new four-dimensional Douluo Planet could endure those forces. Its crust, its oceans, and its sky all carried the denseness of higher-dimensional matter. Even a full clash between early-stage God Kings would leave only deep scars instead of breaking the world apart.
Third, the great Balete continued to pour concentrated life force across the land. Ordinary people lived well past a hundred and fifty years. Soul Masters recovered from injuries that once would have crippled them. Spiritual cultivation sped up for every living thing that drew breath under the new sky.
Fourth, the planet fully stepped into the status of a Semi-Divine Plane. Wild Gods could now anchor themselves to the world without leaving it. At the same time the fourth dimension wove time itself into the physical structure of the planet. Douluo gained authority over its own temporal stability. That authority would later become the foundation for something greater — the absolute anchor core of the Great God Circle, when I finally pushed the Phoenix God Star into the sixth dimension and stepped fully into the ranks of the 6D Gods.
The Baybayin markings answered the change as well. The old symbols that once only guided energy or summoned simple elemental help now carried heavier weight. High-level Soul Masters — those who had already stepped into Rank 100 or higher — could write living Baybayin in the air that temporarily bent local laws: calling storms that lasted for hours, shaping barriers that held against divine attacks, or opening short-lived gates between distant points on the continent. Lower-ranked cultivators still used the familiar markings, but the deeper, world-altering scripts remained locked behind the threshold of true godhood.
Soul Spirit Rings and Anito Tools evolved in the same way. A Rank 100 Wild God could now bind a Soul Spirit so completely that the spirit's power fused into their own core, creating permanent secondary abilities. Anito Tools forged after the evolution could store and release four-dimensional force, but only a god-level user could safely awaken that function. For everyone else the tools remained powerful yet still bound by the older limits — a deliberate restriction so the world would not tear itself apart overnight.
When the light finally settled, the abyssal threat was gone. Its mass had sunk into the rich new soil, and Douluo Planet stood as a living four-dimensional world, ready for the long future I had planned.
•••
In the central plaza of the rebuilt capital, people celebrated. Away from the noise, quieter things were being settled.
Huo Yuhao stood under a large old oak. In front of him was Duke Dai Hao, his father. The military man looked older and tired. He stared at the son who had reached the top of the cosmos.
Yuhao did not speak with anger. His golden third eye stayed closed. Behind him a soft white-blue flame flickered, and a familiar figure stepped out of the light.
Huo Yun, Yuhao's mother, stood there fully restored. Her eyes filled with tears.
Dai Hao dropped to his knees and held her, whispering apologies into the quiet air. Yuhao watched for a long moment, then let out a slow breath. The old weight of hatred finally left him. He placed a hand on his father's shoulder and forgave the past.
A short distance away, Ju Zi — now the Food God, her Tiger-Slaying Blade resting on her hip — laughed through tears as she hugged her own parents, who had also been brought back by the same flame.
"Ready to go, kid?" I asked, appearing beside Yuhao with my hands in my pockets.
He looked at Wang Qiu'er. She held his hand and smiled, her golden scale armor shifting into soft robes.
"Yes, Teacher," Yuhao said. "I'm ready."
Light gathered around the Young Gods — Yuhao, Qiu'er, Ma Xiaotao, Jiang Nannan, Ning Tian, Long Aotian, Wei Na, Ji Juechen, Ju Zi, Ye Guyi, Ye Xishui, Long Xiaoyao, and Mu En. They rose together, bringing their families with them, and entered the Phoenix God Star Realm.
They settled under the shade of the great celestial flame-trees and built a quiet, lasting home.
•••
Not long after, the highest chamber of the Phoenix God Star filled with quiet footsteps and the soft hum of divine presence.
Huo Yuhao walked the long marble hall alone. His midnight robes whispered against the polished floor. Nine divine rings floated behind him in a steady orbit, each one carrying a different weight of emotion and law. The golden Eye of Destiny on his forehead remained closed, but the air around him still felt slightly heavier than normal, as if the chamber itself recognized the new authority he carried.
At the far end of the hall the high table waited.
I sat at the head, leaning back in my usual seat with one arm resting on the armrest. To my right sat Hui Mei, the God of Destruction, his purple aura calm but dense enough to make the air taste metallic. Beside him sat his wife, Sheng Ming, the Goddess of Life, her presence soft and warm in contrast to her husband's. Across from them sat Ji Dong and Lie Yan, husband and wife, the twin pillars of Evil and Kindness, their auras already balanced against each other like two halves of the same scale.
Flanking the head of the table were my wives. Bibi Dong sat closest to me on the left, the Abyssal Aegis faintly visible around her shoulders. Gu Yuena occupied the next seat, the nine-colored light of the Dragon God resting quietly on her hair. Zhu Zhuqing remained half in shadow even under the chamber's bright light, while Shui Bing'er and Qian Renxue completed the line, one carrying the cold clarity of glacial origin and the other the warm prismatic glow of the Angel.
Yuhao stopped at the empty chair that had been prepared for him. He inclined his head once toward the table, then took his seat with the same quiet certainty he had shown in the valley.
The moment he sat, the chamber settled.
Hui Mei was the first to speak. "Welcome to the council, God King of Feelings. From this day on you share the weight of this realm with the rest of us."
Sheng Ming smiled gently. "Your duty is not only to guard emotion among the gods. You will also watch over the hearts of the mortals below. When despair spreads too far or when hope is about to break, you will feel it. That is your work."
Ji Dong gave a short nod. "And when the time comes to judge, you will stand with us. No single God King decides the fate of the realm alone."
Lie Yan added, "You are young, but the seat does not care about age. It only cares that you are strong enough to carry it."
I leaned forward slightly. "That's the short version. The long version is that you will attend every major decision, you will speak when something feels wrong, and you will not stay silent just because older gods are talking. Understood?"
Yuhao met my eyes and nodded once. "I understand."
With that, the new council was complete.
I raised my hand and the air above the table shimmered. A soft grey-gold light gathered, forming the familiar, weary figure of an old man in simple robes. Electrolux's soul, still incomplete, still missing pieces, floated quietly in the center of the chamber.
"I made you a promise a long time ago," I said. "Today I keep it."
I reached into the Phoenix Heart God Core. Chaos Qi rose around my fingers in quiet white-blue fire. Using Absolute Manifestation, I shaped a complete divine body for him — not a temporary vessel, but a true one that could hold Immortal Qi. Then I drew upon the purest Holy light and the deepest Death law, weaving them together until they formed a single, balanced authority.
A new God Position took shape in the air: the God of Sacred Death, a First-Class seat that carried both purification and final rest. It was neither pure light nor pure darkness. It was the place where the two met and became something greater.
I pressed the position into Electrolux's chest.
The grey-gold light exploded outward. His body solidified. Color returned to his face. His eyes opened fully for the first time in this world.
For a long moment he simply stood there, breathing. Then the memories came.
His expression changed. The blank calm of a soul fragment vanished, replaced by the deep, complicated weight of a man who had lived through empires, betrayal, redemption, and the quiet guidance of two very different students across two different worlds.
He looked at Yuhao first. A small, genuine smile touched his lips. "You grew up well."
Then his gaze turned inward, and his voice softened. "Haochen… that boy is still walking his own path, isn't he?"
I nodded. "He is. And now you can walk yours again."
Electrolux placed a hand over his chest, feeling the new God Position settle into place. The dual aura of Holy and Death rose around him in quiet balance. He was no longer a fragment. He was whole, a First-Class God with clear room to grow further, even toward the God-King level if he chose to walk that far.
He bowed once, deeply, to the table.
"Thank you," he said. "I will not waste this second life."
I waved him toward an empty seat that had appeared along the side of the chamber. "Then sit. The council still has work to do."
Electrolux took his place. The highest chamber of the Phoenix God Star was now fuller than it had ever been.
•••
That evening the cosmic noise finally faded.
I left the grand halls and walked the quiet lantern-lit paths of my private sanctuary. The air smelled of night jasmine and pine.
I pushed open the heavy wooden door.
My wives were waiting. Bibi Dong sat with her usual calm posture. Gu Yuena's violet eyes held quiet warmth. Zhu Zhuqing rested in the softer shadows. Shui Bing'er kept the air pleasantly cool. Qian Renxue sat near the window, her presence soft and golden.
The room felt warm and solid — a sharp contrast to the battles of the day. They looked up with gentle smiles as I entered. I sat among them and rested my hands over their rounded bellies, feeling the faint steady pulse of new lives growing inside.
After ten thousand years of fighting, blood, and rewriting broken rules, the quiet of home was the only power that truly mattered.
I leaned my head back, closed my eyes, and let out a long, peaceful breath.
•••
Far beyond the Phoenix God Star Realm, past the edge of the local galaxy, the deep outer void remained cold and dark.
In a place where light had never existed, a vast, unfeeling consciousness slowly opened its eyes.
It was the Universe Will — the cold caretaker of cosmic order.
For ages it had used distant tools: transmigrators with Systems, abyssal invasions meant to prune worlds that grew too far. It was a mathematical script built to keep sectors inside predictable limits.
Data streams flooded its awareness.
Error: Transmigrator Agent Chen Feng — Terminated.
Error: Parasitic System Construct — Destroyed.
Error: Abyssal Plane Anchor — Absorbed and evolved into 4D mass.
Anomaly Identified: Entity Lakan — Threat Level Unmeasurable (6D Threshold).
The consciousness felt no anger. Its core simply reached a single conclusion: local agents and standard methods were no longer enough. Direct action was required.
It did not stop at one target. Across the wider multiverse it marked other Divine Realms that had grown too stable, too connected, or too resistant to its quiet pruning. The realms of Long Haochen, the Scion of Light from the sealed throne. Ye Yinzhu, the Zither Emperor whose music once shaped an entire plane. Hai Long, the sole immortal who had already climbed past ordinary limits. Chang Gong Wei, the Child of Light. Lei Xiang, the Mad God. Ah Dai, the Kind Death God. Tian Hen, the one who left star marks across space itself.
All of them would feel the coming storm.
Across the endless dark, space began to twist. Billions of energy threads tangled together, pulling dead stars, broken timelines, and raw gravitational fields into one massive spinning storm far stronger than any Spacetime Turbulence that had ever been recorded.
The Spacetime Turbulence had started to form.
••••••••
Back in the highest chamber of the Phoenix God Star, I opened my eyes.
A brief flash of light passed through them — pure knowledge, pure power, the quiet echo of futures that had not yet happened. I leaned back in my seat and smiled, small and private, the kind of smile that only appears when something interesting is finally on the way.
"Well," I said softly, almost to myself. "Looks like I'm going to get the chance to meet a few old legends from other dimensions… and maybe throw a few punches while I'm at it. This should be fun."
