Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: This Reo, Who Exactly is He?

**Chapter 6: This Reo, Who Exactly is He?**

Originally, Hatake Kakashi was fairly satisfied with his own strength. After all, even Reo had said he was the "Konoha Technician" renowned throughout the world, a top-tier expert just below the Kage level.

He was very confident in dealing with ordinary ninja. However, what if the opponent was a Kage-level expert?

What then?

He hadn't thought much about this question before. After all, experts of that level weren't encountered casually. One could even say that, barring a great war between villages, such experts wouldn't casually appear in front of ordinary people.

But conversely, once an existence of this level personally takes action, it usually means it might involve a village-level great war.

For example, that **Konoha Collapse Plan** he was very concerned about.

Especially with the presence of a Kage-level expert like Orochimaru, this Konoha Collapse Plan, which originally seemed to lack feasibility, suddenly had the potential for success.

Moreover, it seemed that the time for this Konoha Collapse Plan wasn't far from now.

Although Reo hadn't explicitly stated the time of the so-called Konoha Collapse Plan, Hatake Kakashi assumed this plan truly existed, that he wasn't under some genjutsu, and that Reo wasn't just casually joking.

Then, calculating the timeline, it shouldn't be very far away—at most a year or two.

This judgment was made based on the Uchiha Sasuke appearing in the video.

Judging from Sasuke's age in the video, he looked about twelve or thirteen years old. He didn't seem to be an Academy student.

If he wasn't an Academy student yet had interactions with Kakashi, and Kakashi even specifically performed the Evil Sealing Method for him, then there was only one possibility: Sasuke had become his subordinate.

Thinking back to when the Third Hokage had asked him if he was willing to become a team leader, he hadn't refused.

In fact, he knew very well what the Third was thinking. It was probably because he felt Kakashi had stayed in the Anbu for too long and his personality might become too dark, so he wanted him to come out and be a leading Jonin.

This wasn't the first time. It was just that none of the previous students had passed his test. But it seemed Sasuke was an exception.

"Orochimaru's target is Sasuke?" Hatake Kakashi reacted immediately. He had seen the thing his future self sealed with the Evil Sealing Method in the video.

The Curse Mark!

He had some understanding of this power. Back when he was in the Anbu, and even when he was in Danzo's Root, he had seen it. especially since Orochimaru's disciple, Anko, was currently in Konoha.

She also had a similar Curse Mark power on her body.

For the current Hatake Kakashi, there weren't many things or people he still cared about. Among the Academy students, there were probably only two.

One was the last clansman of his boyhood friend Uchiha Obito in Konoha, now the last member of the prestigious Uchiha clan in the Ninja World, Uchiha Sasuke.

The other was the only child of his teacher, the Fourth Hokage Namikaze Minato, Uzumaki Naruto.

Now it seemed that Orochimaru had his eyes on Uchiha Sasuke and had even planted such a troublesome thing as a Curse Mark on him, perhaps even intending to lure Uchiha Sasuke to defect to him.

Based on what he knew, this was highly probable. That child, Uchiha Sasuke, had an astonishing obsession with revenge.

But thinking about it, it made sense. If it were him, having his entire clan slaughtered, how could he not seek revenge?

Although he didn't know much about Uchiha Sasuke's situation, he knew a little: he was the top student in his year at the Academy, hailed as worthy of the prestigious Uchiha bloodline.

But in his eyes, that title of "Academy Number One" felt a bit like child's play.

However, even geniuses are graded. Being number one in the grade could be called a genius, but it only counted as stepping across the threshold of genius.

Above the grade's number one, there were geniuses who could graduate early. And then there were super geniuses like him, who were already Chunin at the age others entered school.

And Uchiha Itachi was different. He was a genius whose ninja aptitude Hatake Kakashi acknowledged as being above his own. He had hardly seen such a genius figure in his life; perhaps the last one was his teacher, Namikaze Minato.

Given Uchiha Sasuke's current situation, even if he trained with all his might, he couldn't possibly be Uchiha Itachi's opponent.

If that were the case, being seduced by Orochimaru became a possibility.

But would things really evolve in this direction?

Hatake Kakashi didn't know, but he knew one thing: this matter must be taken seriously.

Report it to the Third Hokage?

But would the Third believe his words? How should he explain this Diary System matter? Or rather, could this Diary System even be shown to outsiders?

Thinking of this, he also had a massive headache!

This Reo, who exactly is he?!

---

Reo didn't know he was being watched by Hatake Kakashi. He got up early the next day. As the team leader, he had to go to the mission hall in the Hokage Building to receive their mission.

Some Konoha missions could be picked up by the ninja themselves, while others were assigned by the higher-ups. Usually, the stronger the ninja, the more likely they were to be assigned high-difficulty missions, while ordinary ninja were often only assigned low-rank missions.

With their current squad composition of one Chunin and two Genin, they would generally be assigned C-rank missions. B-rank missions required all members to be Chunin to accept.

As for A-rank missions, the team had to have a Jonin to accept them.

However, what surprised Reo was that the person manning the mission center today was actually the Third Hokage himself. Usually, the Hokage wouldn't personally man the mission center to distribute missions; there were only a few days in a month like this.

Reo's perception of the Third Hokage was complex. In the various conspiracy theories of his past life, the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, had been described as some dark, ultimate mastermind.

But Reo felt that wasn't the case. Perhaps he had this or that problem, and his handling of many things wasn't perfect, but he was definitely not as dark as those conspiracy theories portrayed.

Or rather, Reo felt it was mostly Kishimoto retconning. After all, in the early stages, the Third Hokage Sarutobi Hiruzen was hailed as the strongest Hokage in history.

But ultimately, this was a real world. Many problems in the *Naruto* of his past life could be explained by retconning, but in this real world, there might be other explanations. Reo didn't dare to gamble.

"The Reo Squad, right?" Sarutobi Hiruzen looked at Reo in front of him and said. "There happens to be a C-rank mission here for you to handle!"
